As Gu Xingxi calculated his time, he realized he didn't have enough to dismiss the summoning and escape using his 3D Maneuver Gear. "Damn it, why didn't I think of this when I summoned?" he cursed.
Bai Qian reassured him, "You can still dismiss it now."
Gu Xingxi rubbed his head, "Have you considered what happens if they start suspecting me?"
Bai Qian replied simply, "No."
Gu Xingxi sighed, "...Looks like you'll have to join me in this act."
Puzzled, Bai Qian asked, "How shall we play it out?"
Before Gu Xingxi could explain, Bai Qian turned and said, "Do you know your hooks hurt?"
Gu Xingxi, embarrassed, chuckled, "I thought with all your fur it wouldn't hurt, haha. Won't happen again."
"Will there be a next time?" Bai Qian queried.
Gu Xingxi quickly waved his hands, "No, no, let's just focus on the act. First, do this, then that, then another thing..."
Bai Qian, relieved there would be no next time, agreed, "Okay, if that works, let's do it."
As soon as they finished their discussion, the Third Hokage arrived with a group of Anbu, only to find Bai Qian and Gu Xingxi looking as imposing as the Nine-Tails, if not more so.
The Third Hokage asked anxiously, "Gu Xingxi, what is this?"
Gu Xingxi coughed and launched into his deception, "Lord Hokage, this is Bai Qian, a deity with sage powers rivaling those of the Three Great Sages, even more powerful than them."
Hearing this, the Third Hokage bowed respectfully to Bai Qian, "May I ask what brings the great deity Bai Qian to the Land of Fire?"
Bai Qian explained, "I was flying through the skies when I sensed a being suitable for learning the celestial techniques of my Qingqiu clan. I came here to find this young man to sign a summoning contract, but then your group arrived."
The Third Hokage apologized, "I'm terribly sorry for the disturbance, Lord Bai Qian. We sensed a strong chakra and came to investigate. My apologies."
Bai Qian reassured him, "It's fine. After all, as the current Hokage, it's normal for you to want to protect your village. Don't worry; I'll sign the contract and be on my way."
With that, Bai Qian theatrically unrolled a scroll on the ground, signed her name, and Gu Xingxi did the same, pressing a blood seal onto it.
Bai Qian declared, "Now that the summoning contract is complete, I shall take my leave."
"Goodbye, Lord Bai Qian," Gu Xingxi bid her farewell.
Bai Qian ascended into the sky and vanished from sight, secretly returning to Gu Xingxi's body.
Unbeknownst to Bai Qian and Gu Xingxi, Minato Namikaze and Kushina Uzumaki had witnessed the entire scene.
Kushina, astonished, called Minato's attention to the sky.
Regaining his composure, Minato looked up just in time to see Bai Qian dispersing into a white smoke.
"Was that the Nine-Tails? Why is it white?" Minato asked in surprise.
Kushina, equally astonished, replied, "The Nine-Tails is inside me, so what was that, looking so much like it but differently colored?"
The Nine-Tails inside Kushina was also shocked, having seen everything clearly from within her. It didn't recognize the white fox but sensed a tailed beast's chakra. It wondered if the Sage of the Six Paths had secretly created another Nine-Tails without their knowledge, and immediately, the Nine-Tails attempted to take control of Kushina's body to investigate.
Kushina, aware of what it might mean to let the Nine-Tails loose, quickly subdued it with adamantine chains.
Frustrated and angry, the Nine-Tails roared, "Curse you, Kushina Uzumaki, I will kill you!"
