Naruto: Path towards Godhood

Before even Hotoshi could comprehend anything, Ken's foot struck his head from the side, throwing him several meters away with one kick.

Ken instantly caught Mito before she fell to the ground and rushed out of the mist.

As they came out, Ken saw a large wound on Mito's shoulder.

"K-k-ken….Cough!"

"Don't talk! You are injured. You will be alright."

Ken quickly took out several bandages from his pocket and started bandaging her wounds.

"Bastard, you think I will let you heal her."

Although he wasn't sure if Ken was a medical ninja, he didn't want to take risks, especially with Ken's high Chakra Reserve.

So the moment he came out of the mist, he rushed toward Ken like a man.

Suddenly, Jenzi appeared between them and started throwing the remaining Exploding Tags toward Hotoshi.

Ken nodded his head, took off his jacket, and made a pillow underneath her shoulder before placing her down.

Just as he was leaving, Mito caught his hand, and bitter tears fell down her cheeks.

"Sorry, Ken! We are so useless."

At this moment, Ken didn't stop to look back. He knew if he tried to console her, it would make her feel worse.

Mito wasn't useless.

He knew what useless meant.

Sakura was the useless one. Even Ino and Hinata were useless before the time skip.

Mito wasn't. She had only graduated for ten days, and she fought a Chunin and a Jonin.

She didn't freeze while fighting them. Even when a Jonin charged toward her, she used two Jutsu in her arsenal to buy as much time as possible.

Mito was a genius. She might not be a genius at Itachi's or Kakashi's level, but she was a genius at Sasuke's level.

She managed to learn Jutsu despite its Rank in just a single day without any help from others.

She was a proper Genin in terms of Chakra Reserve, fighting experience, skills, Jutsu, and physical stats.

That's why Ken would never consider her useless, not even in his dreams.

The same goes for Jenzi. In Ken's eyes, he was Naruto with less potential. Both were naive.

Naruto didn't have anyone to properly teach him anything during his childhood, so he was dumb and stupid.

Jenzi had parents, so he was much better as a Ninja than Naruto. He wasn't as dumb and stupid as Naruto, either.

Ken had always kept these differences in his mind. He never expected more out of his teammates.

Knowing this, Ken reached out to Jenzi, who was on his way to enter the ground with Earth Release and stop him.

"Leave him to me! Take care of Mito!"

When Jenzi turned around and saw those two Magatama in his eyes, he was mesmerized for a moment.

Then, he registered his words, and a look of unwillingness appeared in his eyes. Despite that, he didn't lose his mind or remain stubborn.

He nodded his head and rushed toward Mito.

At this moment, Ken started weaving hand signs, and Chakra began molding his body.

This Chakra moved through the Chakra Network and entered his throat. Now, adding Chakra Nature and Shape Transformation to his Chakra, he released it through his mouth.

A large fireball came out of his mouth. This fireball was nearly five times bigger than a normal fireball, and it barely made any significant changes in his Reserves.

The fireball blasted through the Earth Wall and forced Hotoshi to use Body Flicker Jutsu and run away.

Ken noticed it as well and quickly weaved more hand signs.

So right now, Ken's Chakra Reserve was comfortably above most Jonin. And, with Military Food Pill, he didn't have to worry about running out of Chakra.

So he could spam as many fireballs as he could.

And that's what he continued doing. The moment those small fireballs were dodged by Hotoshi, he quickly weaved hand signs and released the big fireball.

Despite knowing this, he began weaving hand signs for fireball Jutsu.

The sword that was used to block most of the power of Earth and Stone Dragon suddenly broke from the top.

That momentum, with a large rock, struck Ken and slammed him to the ground.

He was barely able to dodge the full force of the rock thanks to his two Tomoe Sharingan's enhanced perception.

Ken felt his inner organs churning in pain as he spat out a lot of blood from his mouth.
