Naruto: I Am Uchiha Sasuke!?

Chapter 22: Chapter 21 Sasuke's Chidori

A few days later, deep in the forest, Team 7 lay hidden behind the trees, observing their target.

Kakashi, their captain, directed them through a radio device.

"Naruto, be careful. The target is heading your way."

"Don't worry, Kakashi-sensei! I won't let it escape this time!" Naruto whispered confidently, his eyes fixed ahead.

Suddenly, a black shadow leaped out of the forest, dashing toward him at high speed.

"Naruto, it's coming!" Sakura warned, keeping her senses sharp.

At that moment, multiple Naruto clones burst from behind the trees, rushing forward to intercept.

"Woof! Woof woof!"

A large, snow-white dog bared its fangs, growling aggressively.

"Hah! You're not getting away this time, you mutt!" Naruto lunged forward, attempting to grab it.

But in a flash, sharp canine teeth slashed through one of his clones, dispersing it with a puff of smoke. The dog's claws left fresh scratches on Naruto's arm.

"Tch! Stay still!"

With a decisive punch, Naruto struck the dog's head.

The dog let out a sharp yelp before collapsing onto the ground, unconscious.

"Oi, Naruto! You hit it too hard! What if you killed it?" Sakura scolded, frowning as she inspected the fallen animal.

"Relax, Sakura! This dog has Summoning Beast blood—it won't die that easily. I was careful!" Naruto grinned, rubbing his nose in satisfaction.

"Well done, Naruto. Mission accomplished." Kakashi approached, unrolling a mission scroll and checking it. "Hmm... Thirty thousand ryo for this D-rank mission. Not bad."

"Yes! Thirty thousand ryo! That's enough for a huge feast at Ichiraku!" Naruto cheered. "Kakashi-sensei, Sakura-chan, wanna come with me? Ichiraku's ramen is the best—"

Before he could finish, the dog suddenly regained consciousness, baring its teeth.

"Woof!"

With a swift bite, it latched onto Naruto's backside.

"AAAAHH! It bit me! Sakura-chan, help me get it off!" Naruto yelped, hopping around in pain.

Sasuke pinched the bridge of his nose, exasperated. "This is ridiculous... No wonder people stuck doing D-rank missions improve so slowly."

He sighed, thankful that his Shadow Clone had been handling the mission while his real body focused on training.

"Kakashi, do we really need you here for such simple missions?" Sasuke asked, crossing his arms.

"Yes, Sasuke. These are the rules of Konoha." Kakashi responded calmly. "Besides, as your team captain, it's my job to ensure your safety."

He pointed at Naruto, who was still wrestling with the dog. "With someone like him around, trouble is bound to happen."

Sasuke sighed again. "Fair enough..."

A few days later, near a small lake.

"So, Sasuke, why did you ask me to come here alone?" Kakashi yawned, stretching his arms. "It's rare to have a day off from missions."

Sasuke gave him a flat look. "Kakashi, I want you to teach me Chidori."

Kakashi raised an eyebrow. "Chidori? Also known as Raikiri… That's an A-rank jutsu, Sasuke. Even for a genius like you, it won't be easy to learn."

"I don't care. If I master it, I can develop stronger techniques and grow faster."

Kakashi scratched his chin. "Let's wait until your chakra control improves a bit more."

Sasuke smirked. "If you teach me, I'll tell you the secret of the Sharingan."

Kakashi's eyes widened. "What?"

"You heard me. Despite your reputation as the Copy Ninja, you can't deactivate the Sharingan, can you? That's why you always cover it with your headband."

Kakashi remained silent, contemplating Sasuke's words. It was true—because he wasn't an Uchiha, his Sharingan was permanently active, draining his chakra continuously. If he could learn more about the Sharingan's control, it could change the way he fought.

"...Alright. It's a deal. I'll teach you."

Sasuke smirked in satisfaction.

"But Sasuke, Raikiri is a Lightning Release technique. If you don't have an affinity for Lightning, you won't be able to use it."

"Don't worry. I've already confirmed my chakra nature."

Sasuke pulled out a small slip of chakra paper and focused his chakra into it. Instantly, the paper crumpled, signifying his Lightning affinity.

Kakashi sighed. "Man, working with geniuses makes things so much easier."

"Alright. Let's start with the basics."

He formed three quick hand seals. "The seals for Chidori are Ox, Rabbit, and Monkey. Watch closely."

"Zzzzzzt!"

A crackling surge of white lightning gathered in his palm, illuminating the area with a sharp, electric hum.

Sasuke's eyes glimmered with excitement as he observed the technique. "So... this is Chidori?"

Kakashi nodded. "Chidori is a combination of chakra nature transformation and shape manipulation. It allows you to channel lightning into your palm and use it for a high-speed thrust attack."

He paused before adding, "I once used this technique to cut through lightning itself, which is why it's also known as Raikiri."

"Cutting through lightning?" Sasuke narrowed his eyes. "Interesting."

As Kakashi continued his explanation, Sasuke carefully studied the flow of chakra, preparing himself to replicate it. His training had just begun.
