Chapter 3: chapter 3
"Cheat Uchiha B-level swordsmanship and earn 2000 fraud points!"
Ming inquired, "System, how many points do you currently have?"
"A total of 4200 points!"
I recalled that I had only accumulated a few points previously, and this time was the highest; 4200 is a figure that is neither excessive nor insufficient.
Ming suddenly remembered something and questioned again: "By the way, how many points are required to exchange for the Sharingan?"
"Uchiha Tajima's three-magatama Sharingan: 20,000 points!"
Ming couldn't help but be astonished at this figure. It felt quite distant. It appeared he needed to deceive Uchiha Tajima more. While advanced ninjutsu could be compelled to be taught, the bloodline limit could not be imparted, only seized.
Leaving the space, Ming's consciousness returned to his room, and he soon fell asleep.
In this life, his parents passed away early, and he was able to live well with the village's support.
Two days later marked the departure for Konoha. Due to severe tensions between nations and the imminent threat of war, Uzumaki Mito, who had initially planned to accompany Ming to Konoha, did not arrive.
After all, her role as the Nine-tailed Jinchūriki was too sensitive.
"Kushina,"
Ming reached the designated meeting spot at the village entrance as agreed upon and spotted the future second-generation Nine-tailed Jinchūriki, Uzumaki Kushina.
It must be noted that Kushina's current round face and hair styled in a bun did indeed give her a bit of a "tomato" appearance.
"Ah! Ming, you're here."
Upon seeing Ming approach, Kushina dashed over with excitement. Although she wasn't bullied as much as in Konoha while in Uzushio Village, she was an orphan like Ming, and with her tomato-like figure, she had few friends. Ming was the first person to take the initiative to engage with her, so naturally, the little girl felt a bit more attached to him.
"Ming!"
"You're late."
Three other red-haired Uzumaki children also came to greet Ming, two girls, and one boy. The girls were Uzumaki Ryuka and Uzumaki Narei, while the boy was Uzumaki Ryuko.
"Oh, long time no see."
Ming replied. In truth, he wasn't very familiar with these three, but since they all left the village as members of the Uzumaki clan heading to Konoha, there was a sense of kinship.
"Everyone, it will take roughly three days to reach Konoha from here. Have you all said your goodbyes to your families?" A silver-haired ninja in his twenties wearing a Konoha forehead protector asked Ming and the others. Behind him stood several Konoha ninjas, indicating he was the leader.
"Could you introduce yourself? Mr. Ninja?"
Ming was still curious to learn about the ninja responsible for escorting him and the others to Konoha.
Gazing down at the handsome boy, the silver-haired ninja was slightly taken aback, then chuckled and replied: "Hatake Sakumo, you can call me whatever you like."
Raising his eyebrows, Ming suppressed his surprise and chuckled in response, "The renowned Konoha White Fang would actually take on such a minor task?"
Hatake Sakumo was surprised that Ming had heard of him. He paused for a moment and then said, "Ha, you are esteemed guests of Konoha. If you still wish to bid farewell to your relatives, do so one last time before preparing to depart."
Taking Ming and the others to Konoha was merely a superficial exchange between Konoha and Uzushio Village. In reality, the goal was to select the next Nine-Tails Jinchuriki, a fact not disclosed to Ming and the others.
Among the five, only Ming and Kushina were orphans. The other three had parents, but Uzumaki Ryuko and the others shook their heads, indicating they had already said their farewells.
"Alright, let's go!"
Hatake Sakumo nodded. Although the five were young, they had all undergone ninja training and wouldn't walk along like ordinary individuals.
In fact, if they were exceptional ninjas, they could reach their destination in a day at the earliest, but considering Kushina and the others' speed, the journey would need to be extended to three days.
Once they entered the largest forest area in the Land of Fire, night had already fallen. Hatake Sakumo waved his hand to signal them to halt and set up camp in an open area to rest.
Noticing that the other four were panting while Ming appeared relaxed, Hatake Sakumo was a bit surprised and approached him, saying: "You possess good stamina; your name is Uzumaki Ming, correct?"
"Yes, Mr. White Fang is skilled in swordsmanship, right?"
Upon hearing Ming's question, Hatake Sakumo noticed the wakizashi-style katana at Ming's waist and remarked curiously: "It's uncommon to see members of the Uzumaki clan wielding swords."
"Once we arrive in Konoha, please be sure to instruct me," Ming smiled gently.
"Alright, just seek me out when the time comes." Hatake Sakumo nodded. He was also eager to see how strong this young member of the Uzumaki clan was with a blade.
At that moment, the camp had been established by Hatake Sakumo's subordinates. In reality, it was simply a fire and sleeping bags.
Ming suddenly grabbed a sleeping bag and walked over to Kushina with a grin, whispering in her ear: "Kushina, tonight, I'd like to sleep with you, okay?"
Kushina turned red, quickly pushed Ming away, and dashed over to Uzumaki Ryuka.
