Uchiha Ken nodded gravely. "Be careful. This thing looks pretty strange."

"If you can figure out how to break it, great. But don't push yourself if you can't."

"Also, you captured four of Danzo's Jonin subordinates, right? You didn't leave any traces, did you?"

"That old bastard won't let this go easily."

Four Jonin—it was a significant loss. Even for Danzo, that had to sting. Ken knew they had to prepare for potential retaliation.

He was already planning to secretly assign a few Uchiha Jonin to protect Kira for a while.

Even though he knew his son's strength was probably on par with elite Jonin by now, he still couldn't help but worry.

"Relax! He's no threat to me!" Kira waved dismissively, still engrossed in his research. "My strength isn't bad at all. I took down four Jonin in an instant. Even if more come, it won't make a difference."

"Besides, I've finished my initial studies in medical ninjutsu, so I'll be staying within the clan's territory for a while. That should reduce the danger significantly."

Still, just being on the defensive wasn't a good strategy.

Kira turned to his father and said, "Of course, we should also give Danzo something to keep him busy so he stops running around causing trouble."

"Father, have our people use the Transformation Jutsu to disguise themselves as ordinary villagers and spread rumors in the village. Let's make it known that Danzo dug up the First Hokage's body and conducted brutal Wood Release experiments on villagers."

"Make sure it's done discreetly. No loose ends. Just a little push, then we stop. Can you handle that?"

Kira knew this wouldn't truly harm Danzo, but it would disgust him and force him to stay low for a while.

"That's easy!" Ken nodded confidently, then looked at Kira with curiosity. "Kid, this whole thing about Danzo stealing the First Hokage's corpse and experimenting with Wood Release… is it true?"

Considering Danzo's lack of morality, Ken wouldn't be surprised if it was.

"Of course, it's true." Kira confirmed with a nod. "In fact, it probably wasn't even the first time."

"The Third Hokage was likely involved in the past too."

"But after the experiments failed, he sealed them away and forbade any further attempts."

"Danzo, however, wasn't willing to give up. He continued conducting experiments in secret."

"Obviously, he wants to obtain the First Hokage's Wood Release to fulfill his ambitions—just like how he craves our Uchiha's Sharingan."

If Kira hadn't intervened, Danzo would have eventually succeeded.

"What?!"

Ken was stunned. "The Third Hokage was involved too? Damn, these guys really are the ultimate 'devoted disciples.' Betraying their master runs in the family. No wonder they were trained by the same teacher."

It was clear that Ken held resentment toward the Second Hokage.

And for good reason—Konoha's suppression of the Uchiha clan began under Tobirama's rule.

Ken had personally lived through that era. He must have suffered a lot back then.

"Alright, leave this to me! I'll make sure it's handled beautifully!"

"When it comes to controlling public opinion, we Uchiha are professionals!" Ken pounded his chest in assurance.

"Good." Kira nodded. Then, as a precaution, he added, "Make sure our people watch out for the Third Hokage's Telescope Jutsu. That old man loves using it to spy on the entire village. Don't get caught."

Though, to be fair, the Third Hokage mostly used it to peep at the women's bathhouse.

"Understood!" Ken nodded again. "No time to waste. I'll get started right away. We need to keep Danzo too busy to mess with us!"

With that, he quickly left.

By that afternoon, rumors were spreading throughout the village.

Stories circulated that Danzo had stolen the First Hokage's remains and was conducting forbidden experiments.

People whispered that he was trying to gain Wood Release to overthrow the Third Hokage.

Others claimed Danzo had always resented the Third Hokage for taking the position of Hokage.

The rumors were so detailed and vivid that they felt incredibly real.

Just in case people didn't know who Danzo was, additional information about him was also leaked.

Before long, Konoha was in chaos.

Upon hearing the news, the Third Hokage and Danzo immediately began searching for the culprit.

But it was too late. The ones behind the rumors had already withdrawn, leaving no trace.

"Damn it! Who the hell did this?!"

Danzo roared in fury.

"Lord Danzo, the Hokage requests your presence."

A Root member approached, accompanied by an ANBU ninja.

Danzo's face darkened. "I understand. Let's go."

As he passed by another Root member, he barked an order, "Owl! Find out who's behind this. I want results today!"

"Yes, sir!"

Owl immediately accepted the mission.

At the Konoha Hospital – Tsunade's Office

Bang!

Tsunade slammed her fist down, shattering her desk. Papers flew everywhere as she shouted in rage, "Danzo! You bastard!"

The next second, she stormed out, heading straight for the Hokage's office.

Everyone she passed fell silent, too terrified to say a word.

On the way, she unexpectedly ran into Orochimaru.

Tsunade had grown increasingly disgusted by her former teammate, who had become more and more twisted over the years.

She knew that Orochimaru and Danzo had been getting closer lately.

Given Orochimaru's obsession with experiments, Tsunade had every reason to suspect he was involved.

Clenching her fists, she glared at him and demanded, "Orochimaru! Did you have a hand in this?!"

"Ahaha… how could I?"

Orochimaru eyed her fists warily, forcing a nervous smile. "This has nothing to do with me. I just heard about it myself. You should go ask Danzo instead."

"Well then, later!"

Before she could press him further, Orochimaru slipped away.

No way was he going to stick around and risk getting punched by a furious Tsunade.

Let Jiraiya deal with that kind of treatment. Orochimaru had no interest in sharing that experience.

Meanwhile, in a Small Town in the Land of Tea

At a tavern, Jiraiya was flirting with some women, enjoying himself, when he suddenly sneezed.

He wiped his nose, looking puzzled. "Who's badmouthing me? Must be that bastard Orochimaru. Hmph! I'll deal with him when I get back."

Then he turned back to the ladies. "Alright, where were we…?"

"Oh no, Lord Jiraiya, are you catching a cold?"

"No, no! It's nothing. Probably just a beautiful woman thinking about me!"

"Lord Jiraiya! That's so mean~! You already have us, and you're still thinking about other women?!"

"Ahaha! My bad, my bad. That was my mistake…"
