Chapter 238: Ch-238 Ten-tails resurrected!

The Five Kages were stunned, their minds racing to comprehend the situation. Madara had just struck down the one person among them who could heal their injuries, a strategic blow that could spell their doom. But before despair could take hold, something extraordinary happened.

Tsunade, despite the chakra sword impaling her heart, let out a loud, defiant shout. With a surge of immense strength, she grasped the chakra sword and, to the astonishment of everyone present, broke it in half with her bare hands. The remaining piece of the sword still embedded in her body was forcefully expelled as she punched it out, her willpower alone driving her actions.

Madara's eyes narrowed in surprise. He had expected Tsunade to be incapacitated, if not dead, from such a fatal wound. But what he witnessed next was even more shocking. The gaping wound in Tsunade's chest, one that should have been fatal, began to heal at a rapid pace. The torn flesh and muscle knitted back together seamlessly, and within moments, the wound was completely healed, leaving no trace of the injury that had almost ended her life.

Madara's expression shifted, a rare look of intrigue crossing his face. He had underestimated the Hokage's granddaughter.

Madara's eyes narrowed, his pupils shrinking as he muttered, "No seal healing." The surprise was evident in his voice, but it was quickly replaced by his usual cold confidence.

Tsunade, undeterred, replied fiercely, "As I said before, I am not a weak woman!" With renewed vigour, she launched another powerful punch at Madara's Susanoo. The force of her blow resonated through the battlefield, but Madara was quick to counter. He summoned and hurled a 'Yasaka Magatama' directly at Tsunade, the spinning, chakra-infused projectile cutting through the air with deadly intent.

Tsunade braced herself, crossing her arms to block the attack. The impact was overwhelming, and although she managed to defend herself, the force of the Yasaka Magatama sent her skidding backward across the battlefield, pushing her a considerable distance from her original position.

Seeing Tsunade momentarily displaced, Onoki seized the opportunity. Without hesitation, he unleashed his Dust Release, a powerful and precise attack aimed directly at Madara. The beam of light struck Madara with pinpoint accuracy, and the destructive power of the Dust Release disintegrated almost half of Madara's body, leaving a gaping void where his torso once was.

However, Madara remained unfazed. As an Edo Tensei reanimation, his body began to regenerate almost instantly, the lost tissue and limbs reforming as if nothing had happened. As his body healed, Tsunade caught a glimpse of something that made her blood run cold—her grandfather's face, etched into Madara's chest. The sight shocked her to her core, but she quickly regained her composure, realizing with horror that Madara's body had been transplanted with cells from the First Hokage, her grandfather.

Within moments, Madara's body was fully restored, as if the devastating attack had never occurred. The Five Kages were about to launch another coordinated assault when the air around them suddenly changed. A deafening roar echoed across the battlefield, and the sky darkened as ominous clouds gathered overhead. The atmosphere became thick with an unnatural energy, and it was clear that something monumental was happening. The source of this overwhelming power was soon revealed—none other than the Ten-Tails, which had finally transformed from the Gedo Statue and was now fully resurrected.

The appearance of the Ten-Tails sent shockwaves through the ranks of the Allied Shinobi Forces. The sheer size and presence of the beast were staggering, dwarfing everything around it. The Kages and the ninjas alike felt an oppressive weight in the air, a crushing pressure that made their hearts pound with fear and dread. The Ten-Tails was a creature of unimaginable power, and its revival was a grim omen for the battlefield.

But while the Allied Shinobi Forces were stricken with fear, Madara and Obito were filled with satisfaction. Their plan, years in the making, had finally reached a critical point. With the Ten-Tails now fully revived, their victory seemed almost within reach. Without wasting any time, Obito leaped onto the head of the Ten-Tails. As soon as he landed, a white, tube-like appendage emerged from the Ten-Tails' body and attached itself to Obito, linking him directly to the monstrous creature.

Madara, observing the scene with a calculating eye, knew that the time for playing with the Kages was over. He, too, leaped onto the head of the Ten-Tails, and like Obito, a white tube connected him to the beast. The two stood side by side atop the Ten-Tails, their figures dwarfed by the colossal creature beneath them. The battlefield now presented a terrifying sight: on one side stood Madara, Obito, and the fearsome Ten-Tails, while on the opposite side were the beleaguered forces of the Allied Shinobi, their faces filled with dread and determination.

The Ten-Tails, towering over everything, was even taller than Madara's Susanoo had been. Its mere presence was a harbinger of destruction, and it wasted no time in demonstrating its power. With each palm strike, it swatted down tens of ninjas at a time, obliterating them with brutal efficiency. The ground trembled with each blow, and the cries of the fallen echoed across the battlefield.

Tsunade and Raikage, witnessing the slaughter of their comrades, were consumed with fury. The deaths of their ninjas were unbearable, and they could not stand idly by. Channelling their rage into raw power, they launched a ferocious attack, combining their strength to strike at the massive palm of the Ten-Tails. But to their shock and dismay, their attacks had no effect. The Ten-Tails' defence was impenetrable, its hide as hard as steel, and their most powerful blows failed to even scratch it.

The realization hit them like a cold wave—despite their combined might, they were up against a force that far exceeded anything they had faced before. The Ten-Tails was not just a powerful enemy; it was an embodiment of terror, a creature that could very well bring an end to everything they had fought to protect. But even in the face of such overwhelming odds, the Five Kages knew they could not afford to give up. The battle was far from over, and as long as they still drew breath, they would continue to fight, no matter the cost.
