Naruto: After Seclusion Becoming Naruto Grandfather

Chapter 109: Chapter 109

SLAP!

The crisp sound reverberated through the air as Uzumaki Chito's hand moved with lightning speed, delivering a devastating blow to the leader of the Fire Country's Guardian Ninja.

A wave of white energy, sharp as a blade, followed the strike, slicing through the air like a dragon in flight. The sheer force of it tore through the ninja leader's cheek, shredding flesh and exposing the pale bone beneath.

"AHHHHH!"

A blood-curdling scream erupted from the leader as his hand instinctively flew to his mutilated face. Wet, sticky blood seeped through his fingers, staining his sleeves crimson.

"My face!" he howled, his voice raw and unrecognizable, a mix of agony and despair.

The sound grated on Uzumaki Chito's nerves. His expression darkened, and his cold gaze fell upon the writhing ninja leader.

"If you scream again, I'll ensure you have no grave to be buried in," Chito said, his tone devoid of emotion but carrying an unshakable weight of authority.

The leader froze, his instincts screaming at him to stay silent. It felt as if he were a frog staring into the merciless eyes of a cobra, his life hanging by the thinnest thread.

The weight of Chito's killing intent pressed on him like an avalanche. I'll die… I'll die if I move even a little.

The once-confident leader of the Guardian Ninja now cowered, head bowed, teeth clenched to stifle any sound.

The other guardian ninjas were no better. The moment Uzumaki Chito had appeared, his overwhelming presence had crushed their spirits. They lay sprawled on the ground, paralyzed with fear, not daring to lift their heads.

Chito let out a low scoff, his disdain evident as he surveyed the group.

"This is the Guardian Ninja of the Fire Country?" he said mockingly. "Pathetic. You can't even protect yourselves. What exactly do you think you're guarding?"

The guardian ninjas flinched but said nothing, their humiliation deepened by the truth of Chito's words. How could they refute him? They hadn't just failed to protect the Daimyo—they had lost him to a false Naruto Uzumaki.

Naruto, standing off to the side, couldn't help but interject. "Grandpa, give them a break. These guys aren't that bad. They can't beat me, sure, but compared to regular folks, they're decently strong—about on par with jonin."

He paused, glancing at the battered group. "If it weren't for Konoha meddling, they probably would've done their job just fine."

At the mention of Konoha, the guardian ninjas' expressions shifted. Realization dawned on them like a harsh light cutting through fog.

Though their strength had been belittled, they weren't fools. Their initial anger had clouded their judgment, leading them to attack Naruto without question. But now, Naruto's words and the events leading up to this moment made it painfully clear:

The culprit behind the Daimyo's kidnapping was not Naruto Uzumaki but Konoha ninjas disguised as him.

One of the guardian ninjas clenched his fists, his voice trembling with rage. "Damn it! Those Konoha bastards! How dare they use the Daimyo like this? Do they have no respect for him?"

"Shameless," another spat. "They're willing to use the Daimyo as a pawn just to further their own agenda!"

Naruto observed the group with an odd look. While he sympathized with their anger toward Konoha, their outrage over "respect for the Daimyo" left him feeling amused.

Respect for the Daimyo? Naruto thought, his lips twitching as he suppressed a grin. He couldn't forget his own past—storming the Daimyo's Mansion in the Land of Lightning and personally taking down the Daimyo.

It wasn't that he had any particular disdain for the concept of a Daimyo. But his reverence for the position was pragmatic at best, born out of necessity for Shin-Konoha's survival. Their indignant loyalty to the Daimyo seemed almost comical in contrast.

Still, Naruto chose to stay silent, recognizing that for now, these guardian ninjas were allies. He couldn't afford to alienate them.

"Uzumaki Chito. Naruto Uzumaki," the guardian ninja leader said shakily, his voice still weak from fear and pain. "Please… help us. Save the Daimyo from Konoha."
