Naruto: After Seclusion Becoming Naruto Grandfather

Chapter 106: Chapter 106

Naruto's advantage was undeniable. The state of his Tailed Beast Possession placed him leagues ahead of Sasuke's Heavenly Curse Seal. His six fiery tails lashed out, wrapping around Sasuke like unbreakable chains.

Sasuke struggled, his breathing growing labored as the crushing force of the tails constricted him. His vision blurred, and darkness began creeping at the edges of his consciousness.

Not far away, a Konoha ninja hidden in the shadows observed the battle with wide eyes. Clamping a hand over his mouth, he didn't dare make a sound.

These two… they're stronger than the Jonin back in the village, the ninja thought, his heart pounding. This is what it means to be at the quasi-Kage level.

Yet even with his newfound strength, Sasuke was being subdued by Naruto with apparent ease.

So this is why Naruto Uzumaki is an S-rank rogue ninja, the observer thought grimly.

Seeing Sasuke on the brink of defeat, the Konoha ninja grew anxious. His mission was clear: determine whether Sasuke and Naruto were allies or enemies. If they were hostile, his secondary goal was to recruit Sasuke.

But as the situation unfolded, it became evident that Sasuke was on the losing side. Worse still, it seemed Naruto had no intention of sparing him.

Naruto's expression was cold, his focus unwavering. Sasuke had interfered too many times, and Naruto wasn't about to let him off easily—Orochimaru's pawn or not.

The six tails tightened their grip, each moment bringing Sasuke closer to suffocation.

Struggling against the crushing force, Sasuke's Sharingan flared to life. The three tomoe in his eyes spun rapidly, their red glow piercing through the haze of pain.

From within Naruto's consciousness, the Nine-Tails let out a low growl. "I hate those eyes," it grumbled, its voice echoing with disdain.

The Sharingan had been a source of torment for the Nine-Tails on countless occasions, a tool of control that it had been subjected to too many times.

"In that case," Naruto said with a smirk, "let's destroy them."

Sasuke's Sharingan activated its full power, casting a powerful genjutsu in an attempt to trap Naruto in an illusory world. The air around them seemed to ripple as the illusion took shape.

But Sasuke's hopes were quickly dashed. Naruto stood unaffected, his eyes clear and filled with a cold determination.

"What—?" Sasuke's voice faltered as he realized his genjutsu had failed.

The tails around Sasuke slackened momentarily, a subtle hesitation that gave him just enough of an opening.

Sasuke seized the opportunity. Forming a series of hand seals, he used a simple but effective jutsu. "Body Replacement Jutsu!"

Though only a D-rank ninjutsu, its timing was perfect. Sasuke slipped free from the grip of the six tails, collapsing to the ground and gasping for air.

"Agh… ahem…" Sasuke coughed violently, his lungs burning as he inhaled deeply. The close brush with death left him shaken, but his will to fight remained unbroken.

Within Naruto's consciousness, the Nine-Tails roared in fury. "Naruto, kill this kid! I despise those cursed eyes!"

The beast's frustration boiled over. Though Sasuke's Sharingan had only affected it briefly, the humiliation was unbearable.

Naruto, however, didn't respond. His gaze remained fixed on Sasuke, but his body stayed still.

Sasuke, noticing the lack of pursuit, took a moment to recover. Though he was battered and bruised, his spirit burned with determination. This battle may have been a loss, but he had gained valuable experience.

"Next time, Naruto," Sasuke said, his voice steady despite his exhaustion. "Next time, I'll be the one to defeat you."

With a powerful beat of his wings, Sasuke took to the sky. The wind carried him upward, and within moments, he was gone, leaving only his parting words behind.

Naruto watched Sasuke's retreating figure with a mix of emotions. Part of him felt a twinge of envy—flight was an ability he wished he had.

If I could fly, I'd already be at the Daimyō's mansion by now, he thought.

But Naruto knew that flight wasn't a simple skill to master. Apart from a few rare Kekkei Genkai, there was no widely known ninjutsu that allowed prolonged flight. For now, he could only dream of such a convenience.
