"Ryusei-nii!" A cheerful voice called out. Komiya Yuki ran toward him, accompanied by a graceful woman in a kimono.

The woman bowed slightly. "You must be Mr. Ryusei. I am Komiya Ryouko, Yuki's mother. Thank you for looking after my daughter."

Ryusei returned the bow. "You're too kind, Aunt Ryouko. Please, just call me Ryusei."

Just then, Yamashita Shou approached, carrying a wooden staff on his back. "Ryusei! You're registering alone too?"

Ryusei introduced him. "Shou, this is Aunt Ryouko, Yuki's mother."

Shou bowed respectfully. "A pleasure to meet you, Aunt Ryouko."

Ryouko smiled, patting Shou's head. "What a polite young man."

Yuki, curious about the staff Shou carried, asked teasingly, "Why are you carrying a stick? So your teacher can hit you easier?"

"This is not a stick!" Shou protested indignantly. "It's a golden cudgel!"

"Golden cudgel? Like Sun Wukong's? It doesn't look like his at all," Yuki quipped.

Ryusei examined the staff closely and smirked. "It's... not quite the same. If you want a proper one, I could design a blueprint, and you can have it forged."

Shou's eyes lit up. "Really? Then I also want a phoenix-crowned cap, golden chainmail, and cloud-walking boots!"

"Sure, sure," Ryusei replied with a laugh. "But first, let's get registered."

In the classroom, Ryusei observed the other students. Most from prominent clans clustered together, while commoners sat alone.

Eventually, a laid-back man with a pineapple-shaped hairstyle entered.

"Ryusei-nii! Look, it's him!" Yuki whispered excitedly.

The man introduced himself. "I'm Nara Shikamoto. I'll be your teacher for the next six years. My job is to teach you reading, traps, chakra refinement, and ninja tool handling. If you already know something, feel free to nap—but don't disturb others. Now, let's begin introductions. Name, likes, dislikes, and dreams. You first." He pointed to a boy from the Hyuga clan.

The boy stepped forward. "I'm Hyuga Natsuki. I like katsuo cakes, hate tomatoes, and dream of mastering Gentle Fist like Tennin-sama."

Next, a black-haired boy with a fan insignia introduced himself. "I'm Uchiha Kaoru. I like ramen, dislike sweets, and dream of becoming as great as Lord Hokage."

His appearance caused the girls to squeal in admiration.

Akimichi Tifeng followed. "I'm Tifeng. I like the food Master Liu Angxing makes, hate being called fat, and dream of tasting every dish in the ninja world."

Shikamoto chuckled. "What a delicious dream. Next."

The students introduced themselves one by one, including:

Yamanaka Seiren, a blonde girl who dreamed of opening a flower shop.

Nara Luming, who lazily expressed a desire for a hassle-free life.

Sarutobi Hiruzen, who aspired to become Hokage.

Finally, Inuzuka Ookami, holding his gray puppy, declared, "I want to be like the great Erlang Shen!"

This prompted a flurry of teasing from classmates, who pointed out his dog was gray, unlike Erlang Shen's black hound.

The introductions concluded with a small girl, Koharu Utatane. "I'm Koharu. I love sweets, hate spicy food, and want to be a powerful kunoichi."

Seeing her innocent face, Ryusei couldn't help but recall her elderly counterpart, sending a chill down his spine.
