Chapter 10: Jiang Tianhua’s Fury: “Tell the Chairman of Shanfang Private Hospital to See Me!”:

As Jiang Ye finished speaking, cold sweat began to roll down the dean’s back. He had been in the business world for many years and understood the unspoken messages behind a boss’s glance.

Now, Jiang Ye’s tone was cold, clearly showing his anger.

The dean hurriedly explained, his voice trembling, “Chairman Jiang, it’s like this. I saw that many VIP wards were available in our hospital, and since Mr. Jiang Tianhua is influential in Magic Capital, I thought doing him a favor might benefit us. In the future, if there were any issues, you could seek his help. I did this entirely for you and the company!”

The dean was drenched in sweat. He knew that losing his position as the director of Shanfang Private Hospital, where he earned an annual salary of 10 to 20 million yuan, would be a huge setback. Even if he found another hospital to direct, the salary would be far less than what he made at Shanfang.

Watching the dean nervously explain, Jiang Ye responded calmly but firmly, “Even if all the VIP rooms are empty, I’d rather give them to ordinary people who can’t afford medical care than to Jiang Tianhua. Call him now and tell him the transfer is canceled. Shanfang Private Hospital will not accept Jiang Cheng. If he asks why, tell him it was my decision.”

Jiang Ye didn’t scold the dean harshly. After all, the dean didn’t know about his personal relationship with Jiang Tianhua. But Jiang Ye saw this as an opportunity to remind the dean of his authority.

Although the dean couldn’t understand why Jiang Ye harbored so much hatred toward Jiang Tianhua, he nodded in agreement and prepared to follow through with Jiang Ye’s orders.

Meanwhile, at the Magic Capital Private Hospital, Jiang Tianhua and his wife, Li Yan, were busy preparing for Jiang Cheng’s transfer. They visited Jiang Cheng’s ward, where his attending doctor was waiting.

Jiang Tianhua and Li Yan walked up to the doctor and thanked him. “Doctor, we’ll be heading to Shanfang Private Hospital today. Thank you for your care during this time.”

Although Jiang Tianhua was a billionaire, he remained courteous to the medical staff. The attending doctor waved his hand humbly, “You give me too much credit. I wasn’t able to improve Young Master Jiang Cheng’s condition, but rest assured, at Shanfang Private Hospital, he’ll receive the best treatment. Their hematology department is far superior to ours. It’s very hard to get into that hospital though—you must have pulled a lot of strings, right?”

Li Yan smiled proudly. “Yes, we called in a favor from an old friend, and now our son will be staying in the VIP ward.”

The group exchanged polite compliments, and even Jiang Cheng showed a rare smile. He had been upset recently after the plan to deal with Jiang Ye had backfired, leaving his hired thug in the hospital instead. But today, the thought of moving to Shanfang Private Hospital lifted his spirits. He had long heard of its reputation, and he believed the world-class care would help him recover. Maybe soon, he’d even be able to leave the hospital for good.

As the clock approached noon, Jiang Tianhua and Li Yan began to grow anxious. They had been expecting the car from Shanfang Hospital to arrive at 11:30, but it was now nearly half an hour late.

Seeing their worried faces, the attending doctor approached and asked, “Is everything alright, Mr. Jiang? If the car from Shanfang hasn’t arrived yet, I can arrange for someone to transfer Young Master Jiang Cheng to their hospital. Just let me know, and I’ll handle it.”

Jiang Tianhua hesitated but eventually nodded. He was just about to call the dean when his phone rang.

Seeing the name on the caller ID, he smiled broadly. “Ah, speak of the devil! The director of Shanfang Private Hospital is calling me.”

Li Yan grumbled under her breath, “He’s already half an hour late.”

Jiang Tianhua answered the phone cheerfully, “Dean Wang, I’m waiting for you at Magic Capital Private Hospital. Have you arrived yet?”

But on the other end, Dean Wang was silent for a long time. After what felt like an eternity, the dean finally spoke, his voice hesitant. “Mr. Jiang Tianhua, I regret to inform you that the transfer for Jiang Cheng has been canceled. If you’re in a hurry, you may want to consider sending him abroad. Shanfang Private Hospital is unable to accept him now or in the future.”

The phone was on speaker, so everyone in the room heard the dean’s words. Their smiles froze, replaced by expressions of shock.

Li Yan was the first to react. She snatched the phone from Jiang Tianhua and screamed into it, “What did you just say?! We agreed yesterday, and now you’re backing out? Do you think the Li family is easy to bully?”

Jiang Cheng, who had been excited moments earlier, now looked pale. His hope for recovery had been dashed in an instant, and he felt like he had fallen into an abyss.

Li Yan furiously threatened the dean, while Jiang Tianhua, now composed but seething with rage, took the phone back. His voice was cold and menacing. “Wang Yunchuan, I expect an explanation. I hope for your sake this isn’t a joke. People who mess with me in Magic Capital know what happens.”

On the other end, Dean Wang could barely stand. “I wouldn’t dare joke with you, Mr. Jiang. The decision to deny Jiang Cheng’s transfer came from our chairman.”

“Then send your chairman to speak with me personally!” Jiang Tianhua roared, his fury erupting.
