My Legacy, My Decree, My Will (BNHA x AOT)

Chapter 26: Chapter 26: First Day

As Aiden stepped into the classroom, a hush fell over the lively chatter. The students shifted in their seats, eyes wide with curiosity.

"Who's that?" Kirishima whispered, leaning forward in his chair, his spiky hair bouncing slightly.

"Is he really a prince?" Bakugo scoffed, crossing his arms defiantly. "Looks like a fancy peacock to me."

Aiden couldn't help but grin at the comments, feeling the weight of their stares. His royal robes, adorned with golden trims and a fur lining, felt like both a blessing and a challenge. "Hey, I'm Aiden. Just your average prince trying to survive high school!"

"Average? You're wearing a royal uniform!" Uraraka exclaimed, her eyes sparkling with interest. "What's it like being a prince?"

Aiden chuckled lightly, preparing to respond, but before he could elaborate, Aizawa's tired voice cut through the buzz. "Class, settle down. Aiden, take a seat."

With a nod, Aiden found a chair beside Midoriya, who looked ready to burst. "I'm Izuku Midoriya! Welcome to UA! What's your quirk?" His excitement was infectious.

Aiden shrugged, opting for a mysterious air. "I have some cool abilities, but I'll show you later. I just got here from Paradis."

"What's Paradis?" Midoriya asked, his curiosity piqued. The room seemed to lean in, eager to hear more.

"Um, it's a place with some interesting history," Aiden replied, trying to keep it light. "You might not have heard of it. We have our own quirks, and let's just say our way of life is a bit different."

Kirishima grinned. "Different how? Do you have like, giant monsters or something?"

"More like, um…unique traditions," Aiden said, carefully choosing his words. "You'll get to know more as we go. Just don't expect too much. I'm still figuring things out myself."

"Are you really a prince?" Uraraka asked, leaning in. "Do you have to do royal stuff all the time?"

Aiden laughed, rubbing the back of his neck. "Sometimes. Mostly it's just a lot of meetings and less adventure than I'd like. But hey, I'm here now!"

Just then, Aizawa cleared his throat again, his expression urging the class to focus. "Alright, people. Aiden will have time to share more later. For now, let's get back to the lesson."

Aiden took a moment to soak in the classroom. The energy in the room was electric, and he felt a sense of excitement bubbling within him.

...

After two lessons, Aizawa wrapped up the final question. "Alright, Aiden. You seem to have a solid grasp on the material. Time for lunch."

As the students filed out of the classroom, Aiden felt a mix of excitement and nervousness. He hadn't expected to connect so quickly, but the energy in the class had been contagious.

"Hey, Aiden! Want to join us for lunch?" Mina called out, bouncing on her feet with her trademark enthusiasm. Kirishima stood beside her, grinning widely.

"Sure, I'd love to!" Aiden replied, feeling welcomed already.

They made their way to the cafeteria, a bustling hub of students. As they settled at a table, Aiden glanced around, taking in the vibrant atmosphere.

"So, what's your favorite food?" Kirishima asked, leaning forward eagerly.

"Um, I really like anything that's grilled or barbecued," Aiden said, recalling the feasts back home. "What about you guys?"

"Burgers!" Mina exclaimed, her eyes lighting up. "Especially with extra cheese!"

"Definitely burgers, but I also love a good steak," Kirishima added, nodding vigorously. "What's it like being a prince? Do you get to eat fancy stuff all the time?"

Aiden chuckled, shaking his head. "Not as much as you'd think. It's mostly formal dinners with a lot of etiquette. But I'd trade that for a good burger any day."

"Sounds like a dream!" Mina laughed. "You're just like us! What about your quirk? Is it, like, royal or something?"

Aiden smiled, feeling a bit mysterious. "You could say it's…unique. I'm still figuring it out, but I promise I'll show you all soon."

"Do you have to deal with royal stuff all the time?" asked another classmate, Sero, who had joined the conversation.

"Kind of," Aiden replied. "But being here is a break from all that. I get to train and learn like everyone else."

"Speaking of training, we should totally spar sometime!" Kirishima suggested, his eyes gleaming with excitement.

"I'd like that! I could use all the practice I can get," Aiden said, grinning.

As they continued to chat, Aiden felt more at ease. The laughter, the jokes, and the camaraderie made him feel like he belonged.

"So, any royal secrets you can share?" Mina teased, nudging him playfully.

"Only if you promise not to tell anyone," Aiden replied, winking. "But if you're nice, I might share a few!"

As they finished up, the bell rang, signalling the end of lunch. Mina stood up, stretching. "Well, Aiden, you're officially one of us now! I can't wait to see what else you've got in store."

"Yeah, welcome to the group, man," Kirishima added, giving him a thumbs-up.

Aiden nodded. "Thanks, guys. This should be fun."

As the school day came to an end, students began to make their way towards the exit of UA. Aiden walked alongside Mina, Kirishima, and a few others from Class 1A, casually chatting about the day's events.

The conversation came to an abrupt halt as they neared the gate, where a large crowd had gathered.

"What's going on over there?" Mina asked, squinting at the commotion.

Kirishima raised an eyebrow. "No idea, but it looks like people are freaking out."

As they pushed through the crowd to get a better view, Aiden immediately recognized the source of the chaos. Standing tall by a luxurious, sleek black car were Seraphine and Kaela, both dressed in their royal armour.

Seraphine's white-and-gold plated armour gleamed in the afternoon sun, her dark hair tied back in a battle-ready ponytail.

Kaela stood next to her, in silver armour with intricate engravings, her long red hair cascading down her back like flames. The two women were impossible to ignore.

Whispers filled the air as the students stared at the two stunning women.

"Who are they?" one student muttered, their eyes wide in awe.

"They must be heroes... right?" another one guessed.

"Maybe they're pro heroes from overseas," someone else added, trying to figure out the mysterious pair.

Mineta, never one to miss an opportunity, wiggled his eyebrows and grinned in his usual perverted manner. "W-Whoever they are, I'd like to get to know them better—"

Before he could finish his sentence, both Seraphine and Kaela turned to glare at him simultaneously. Their cold, piercing gazes cut through him like a blade. Seraphine's eyes practically glowed with intimidation, and Kaela's expression was one of pure disdain.

Mineta froze, beads of sweat forming on his forehead as he quickly backtracked, holding up his hands defensively.

"Uh… I-I mean, n-never mind! I wasn't gonna say anything, really!" Mineta stammered, shrinking back as Aiden gave him a quick, amused glance.

"Trust me, Mineta," Aiden said with a smirk, "you don't want to be on their bad side."

Mina elbowed Aiden playfully. "Wait, those are your royal guards?! No wonder the crowd's losing it!"

Aiden nodded, chuckling. "Yeah, they can be a bit... eye-catching."

Kirishima let out a low whistle. "Wow, man, they look like they could take down an entire army by themselves!"

"Pretty much," Aiden replied casually, as if it was the most normal thing in the world. "They've been training me for years, so trust me when I say you wouldn't want to spar with them."

As the group approached, Seraphine and Kaela immediately straightened up, their faces softening just slightly when they saw Aiden.

"Your Highness," Seraphine said formally, bowing slightly before offering him a faint smile. "We are here to escort you back to the residence."

Kaela nodded. "Everything has been prepared for your return, Prince Aiden."

The murmurs in the crowd grew louder as students began to connect the dots.

"Wait... did they just call him a prince?" one student asked, eyes widening.

"No way! He's royalty?!"

"That explains the fancy car and those badass guards!"

Aiden sighed, rubbing the back of his neck awkwardly as he realised the attention he was getting.

"Yeah, yeah... I'm a prince, but it's not a big deal," he said, trying to downplay it as much as possible.

Mina looked at him with a mischievous grin. "Not a big deal? Come on, Prince Aiden, this is huge!"

Aiden rolled his eyes but smiled, clearly not too fazed by their reactions. He turned to Seraphine and Kaela. "Alright, let's get going. It's been a long day."

With that, Seraphine opened the door to the luxurious car, and Aiden gave a final wave to his classmates before stepping inside.

Kaela took her place next to the vehicle, scanning the crowd with a protective eye as Seraphine joined her.

"See you guys tomorrow," Aiden called out as the car door closed behind him. The engine roared to life, and the car smoothly pulled away from the school, leaving the crowd of students still buzzing with excitement and curiosity about their new royal classmate.
