My Legacy, My Decree, My Will (BNHA x AOT)

Chapter 25: Chapter 25: Japan here I am

The journey to Japan was nothing short of exhilarating. Aiden could barely contain his excitement as the royal jet cut through the clouds, bound for Tokyo.

Japan was a place he'd only read about—its towering skyscrapers, bustling streets, and the famed U.A. High School awaited him.

His parents, Max and Eleanor, were seated across from him, catching up on some last-minute paperwork, but they couldn't help but smile whenever they saw his enthusiasm.

The jet touched down, and as they made their way through the airport, Aiden was practically vibrating with excitement, taking in the sights, sounds, and even the distant scent of street food.

Their convoy led them into the heart of Tokyo, and, deciding they had time before the U.A. enrolment, they took a detour into the city.

Aiden wandered with his parents through the Shibuya crossing, the neon lights and swarm of people unlike anything he'd seen back home in Paradis. He and Max couldn't resist stopping at a ramen shop for an authentic taste of Japanese cuisine.

The shop owners treated them like royalty (not knowing they actually were), giving them the best seats and bowls heaped with noodles and toppings.

Max, ever the lively one, struck up a conversation with everyone around, to Eleanor's amused eye rolls.

As evening approached, they made their way to U.A. High School, the imposing structure filled with young people eager to become heroes.

Principal Nezu awaited them, his small frame and friendly demeanour a unique contrast to his sharp, intelligent eyes.

They were ushered into Nezu's office, where the air felt both warm and formal.

"Thank you for trusting us with your son, Your Majesty," Nezu said, looking up at Max and Eleanor. "U.A. is committed to nurturing the next generation of heroes, and I understand that Aiden brings with him a very special legacy."

Max chuckled, "Oh, he's special, alright! He's been itching to get out here, see the world a little. And between us, I think he'll enjoy every second of it."

Eleanor, with her usual elegance, leaned forward slightly. "Principal Nezu, it's not just the training that matters to us. Aiden needs a chance to understand the world beyond Paradis, to experience different perspectives and challenges."

Nezu nodded, glancing toward Aiden, who sat quietly taking in every word.

"I think he'll find plenty of both here. Our curriculum is designed to push students to their limits and beyond. I have no doubt Aiden will rise to the occasion."

With formalities wrapped up, they took one last look around U.A., Aiden practically glowing with excitement, and then headed to the villa they'd arranged for him.

The home was beautiful, tucked into a quiet corner of the city, with traditional Japanese architecture blended with modern comforts.

Night fell, and it was time for goodbyes. Standing on the villa's steps, Aiden embraced his mother tightly, feeling the warmth of her familiar embrace.

"Remember to take care of yourself," she whispered, her voice soft.

"And don't hesitate to write to us about anything."

Max pulled him into a bear hug, clapping him on the shoulder. "We're proud of you, Aiden. Go out there and show the world what you're made of!"

As they departed, Aiden watched them go, feeling a tinge of homesickness. But it quickly faded as he turned back towards his new home.

Waiting at the door were his three royal attendants: two guards, both tall and graceful with poised features, and his maid, who gave him a warm, friendly smile.

They were to be his caretakers, friends, and protectors while he was here.

[Next morning]

Aiden stood in front of the mirror, adjusting his royal robes one last time. He felt a mix of excitement and nerves. Today was the day he would start at UA, and he couldn't shake off the feeling of being out of his element. His two guards, Seraphine and Kaela, flanked him, their presence both reassuring and a bit intimidating.

"Are you ready, Your Highness?" Seraphine asked, a smirk playing on her lips.

"Do I look ready?" Aiden replied, ruffling his dreadlocks. "I'm about to step into a school full of future heroes. I think I need a cape or something."

Kaela chuckled. "You know, if you keep joking like that, I might just have to suggest becoming a teacher to keep you in line."

Aiden shot her a playful glare. "No way! I'm not going to be that kid who has to deal with detention or homework." He paused, thinking about the potential chaos that could ensue. "Actually, that might be fun…"

"Let's just focus on not getting you into too much trouble today," Seraphine said, rolling her eyes.

As they made their way to the entrance of UA, Aiden's heart raced with anticipation. The school was bustling with students, and he could feel the energy in the air. Heroes-in-training were everywhere, some flexing their quirks while others were simply chatting excitedly about their classes.

Once they reached the classroom, Aizawa was already there, leaning against the wall with his usual aloof demeanor. He looked up as the door opened, his expression flat. "Class 1-A, sit down. We have a new student."

Aiden stepped inside, feeling all eyes on him. Aizawa continued, "This is Aiden Wilhelm Fritz. He's royalty, so don't let it get to your heads."

Aiden raised a hand in a half-wave, trying to be casual about it. "Hey, everyone!"

Principal Nezu then entered the room, his eyes twinkling with excitement. "Welcome, Aiden! We're thrilled to have you here at UA! Now, let's give him a warm welcome!"

[A little earlier]

Before Aiden's arrival, Class 1-A buzzed with energy. The morning sunlight streamed through the windows, illuminating the faces of the students as they chatted excitedly about their latest training sessions and quirks.

Bakugo sat in his usual spot, his scowl fixed in place as he grumbled about how he could've beaten everyone in the last training exercise if only they hadn't held him back.

"Damn extras," he muttered, crossing his arms.

Midoriya, sitting nearby, nervously flipped through his notes, jotting down observations about the training.

"I mean, you did go a little overboard, Bakugo. Maybe tone it down just a bit?"

"Shut up, Deku!" Bakugo snapped, though there was a hint of playful rivalry in his tone.

To the side, Uraraka was chatting animatedly with Iida about their next practical lesson. "I think we should work on teamwork! I mean, we'll have to rely on each other in real battles, right?"

"Indeed! We must be prepared for any situation, and a strong team dynamic is essential," Iida replied, adjusting his glasses with enthusiasm.

As the students continued to chat, Aizawa walked in, his usual tired expression barely concealing his irritation.

"Quiet down. We have a new student joining us today." He leaned against the wall, letting the words sink in.

"New student?" Kirishima perked up, his smile infectious. "I wonder who it is! I hope they're cool!"

"Or strong!" added Sero, leaning forward in his seat.

Just then, the door opened, and Aiden stepped in, his royal robes flowing dramatically behind him. He took a moment to scan the room, feeling the weight of their gazes.

The reaction was immediate.

"Whoa!" Kirishima exclaimed, eyes wide. "He looks like a hero already!"

"Is he… royalty?" Mina whispered to her friend, her eyes sparkling with excitement.

"Look at those robes!" Sero added, grinning. "I bet he's got some insane quirk."

Bakugo crossed his arms, raising an eyebrow. "Tch, just because he has fancy robes doesn't mean he's strong. Let's see what he can do."

Midoriya, filled with admiration and a bit of nervousness, whispered to Uraraka, "He looks really cool! I hope he's nice."

Uraraka nodded enthusiastically. "He definitely has a certain vibe. I can't wait to see what he's like!"

Aizawa broke the chatter, motioning for everyone to settle down. "This is Aiden Wilhelm Fritz. He's the first prince of his nation, so don't let it get to your heads."

Aiden stepped forward, giving a casual wave. "Hey, everyone!"

The class erupted in a mix of cheers and curious whispers. "Welcome!" shouted Kaminari, his grin wide.

Aiden chuckled, feeling the warmth of the class's energy.
