My Hero Academia: The Legacy of Lost Numbers

Chapter 35: The Wild Hunt

As they continued walking toward UA, Ellen noticed some commotion ahead.

Ellen: "01, look over there. Some villains are causing trouble."

Toshinori, glancing in the direction of the disturbance, sighed.

Toshinori: "Yes, Ms. Azaria, I can see that."

Ellen: "We should stop them. And remember—no killing."

Toshinori let out another sigh, somewhat exasperated but compliant.

Toshinori: "If that's what you want…"

With a subtle release of his aura, the villains instantly collapsed, unconscious, dropping to the ground without a fight.

Toshinori: "Happy now?"

Ellen was momentarily stunned by how effortlessly Toshinori handled the situation, but she composed herself.

Ellen: "Well, it's definitely better than killing them."

Toshinori: "Yeah, yeah…" he muttered, his tone indifferent but compliant as they continued on their way.

After they arrived at the UA facility, Toshinori looked around, appreciating the environment.

Toshinori: "Well, Mr. Midoriya, the place is good. I really like it."

Izuku smiled in relief.

Izuku: "I'm glad you do, 01. By the way…"

Toshinori turned to him.

Izuku: "That sword... what exactly is it?"

Toshinori hesitated for a moment, remembering Ellen's reaction when he told her the true origin of his weapon. He decided to spare his father the details.

Toshinori: "I… used some monsters created by All for One to forge this weapon."

Izuku was taken aback, surprised but choosing not to press further.

Izuku: "Alright, 01. You can put it there for now. And if you need anything, just let us know."

Toshinori nodded.

Toshinori: "Sure, Mr. Midoriya."

As Toshinori settled into the UA facility, he gazed out of the window, lost in thought.

Toshinori: "I still can't believe how kind Mr. Midoriya is."

He placed his hand on his left side, feeling the absence of his arm and reflecting on his journey.

Toshinori: "I've grown stronger since I lost my arm, but All for One won't stop. He's always lurking, always planning."

A deep sigh escaped his lips as the weight of the upcoming battles pressed on him.

Toshinori: "Without the Top 3 heroes of the world, we stand no chance against Monster 0..."

In the classroom, Shinso was passionately teaching about the historic Hero Wars and how the Top 3 heroes triumphed over All for One.

Shinso: "So that's how Deku, Dynamite, and Shoto managed to defeat All for One in the past."

Kaito: "Wow, it's incredible!"

Mia: "The Top 3 heroes are really strong."

Suddenly, Izumi stood up with a smug attitude, showing off in front of the class.

Izumi: "Well, of course! That's what we've always said. And here I am, the eldest daughter of the Midoriya bloodline, full of untapped potential!"

Shoya, sitting nearby, was visibly annoyed by her arrogance.

Shoya: "Seriously? The bloodline talk again?"

Ken stood up beside Shoya, backing him up.

Ken: "You got one-shotted by us before. Is there any species stronger than us, the Numbers?"

Shoya: "Me, 02, and especially 01—we were so powerful that even All for One had to seal our abilities."

Ken: "As for the so-called 'Midoriya bloodline,' the only one who truly represents that legacy is Izana. No one else."

As Izumi was about to retort, a sudden voice interrupted the escalating argument.

Toshinori: "Enough of this!"

Everyone turned towards the door, stunned to see Toshinori standing outside the classroom, his black eyes glowing ominously.

Toshinori:"You've put on quite the show for a while now, but remember, this is a class, not some debate about lineage."

The intensity in his voice silenced the room, his presence commanding respect.

Shinso, trying to diffuse the tension, spoke up.

Shinso: "01, is there something you need?"

Toshinori's expression softened slightly.

Toshinori: "Nothing much, Mr. Shinso. I'm just heading to the library. Can you point me in the right direction?"

Shinso gestured.

Shinso: "Go straight and take a left."

Toshinori gave a nod of acknowledgment and left the room, leaving everyone in the class in stunned silence. His brief appearance had defused the situation and left a lingering sense of authority.

Bakugo, visibly desperate, sat in front of the fortune teller at the Hero Association. His usual brashness was gone, replaced by vulnerability.

Bakugo:"Oi, Goggle man... I mean, Sir. Today, I'm not here as Dynamite or Bakugo. I'm here as a father."

For the first time, Bakugo's eyes welled up with tears, his voice breaking.

Bakugo:"I beg you, please tell me— is there any other way to make my son remember who he is? Anything that can help him?"

The fortune teller, known as Fortuna, looked at Bakugo with sympathy.

Fortuna:"Mr. Bakugo, I understand the pain you are going through. But the prophecy is a force that no one can alter."

Bakugo clenched his fists, struggling to hold back his emotions, the weight of the situation pressing down on him.

In the quiet of the UA dorms, Toshinori was immersed in books on hero history, flipping through pages with a focused expression.

Toshinori: "These history books are full of knowledge, but it's not enough. There's nothing concrete on All for One's whereabouts."

As the frustration mounted, a thought crossed his mind.

**Toshinori:"Maybe it's time I take action... I should go to one of All for One's hideouts and check for any clues myself."

Determined, Toshinori left the dorms and made his way to a hidden location once controlled by All for One. Upon entering, he was met by Dimitri, one of the subordinates loyal to All for One, grinning with malice.

Dimitri: "Hahaha, 01, you're here? What a surprise! I'll make sure to kill you!"

Toshinori, unphased by the threat, looked at him calmly.

Toshinori:"Well, you're welcome to try."

As the villains swarmed him, Toshinori unsheathed his Force Edge sword, his eyes glowing with calm yet terrifying intensity.

Toshinori (annoyed): "You're all really annoying."

With one swift movement, he began cutting through the villains effortlessly, his blade a blur of precise strikes. Blood splattered the ground, and bodies fell in every direction. In the midst of this chaos, he locked eyes with Dimitri.

Toshinori (with a cold smirk): "Looks like you need a lesson."

He focused his energy into his sword, the air around him crackling with power.

Toshinori: "Divine Departure."

With a single, devastating slash, the remaining villains were obliterated in one swift motion. The sheer force of the attack left Dimitri trembling as Toshinori calmly walked towards him, his aura radiating like an unstoppable force.

Toshinori (menacingly): "So, tell me, even though this is one of All for One's main hideouts... where is Monster 0's cell?"

Dimitri, now on the ground, badly injured and paralyzed by fear, stammered as he tried to respond.

Dimitri (in fear): "I don't know! Please, spare me!"

Toshinori's cold eyes locked onto Dimitri's with no sign of mercy.

Toshinori (calmly): "Relax, I didn't kill them... but they won't recover from the near-death injuries I gave them."

He glanced around the room, disgusted by the weakness he saw.

Toshinori: "You're all utterly useless. Guess I'll have to check another hideout."

With that, Toshinori activated his Future Sight, looking ten minutes ahead.

Toshinori (to himself): "Looks like I need to move."
