Multiversal Manifestation System

At Wang Zi's home.

Wang Zi was sitting on a chair, overlooking the city outside, musing. Alone in his room, he could finally take the time to explore what the system had to offer in more detail.

"Random World Draw, Designated character manifestation card, Cloaking shield, and a bunch of money." He said, tapping his fingers on the chair's armrest.

"Alright. System, use the Random World Draw!"

A blue panel suddenly showed up in front of him:

"Host requests to use Random World Draw x1."

"Drawing..."

A glowing gacha-style wheel appeared in front of Wang Zi. There were five sections on the wheel, each one labeled with a world. 

"One Piece, Dragon Ball, Naruto, One Punch Man and Demon Slayer. Indeed, I drew them but didn't actually unlock them huh."

Wang Zi watched in silent anticipation as the wheel slowly started spinning, the colored segments flickering by.

"Come on, Dragon Ball! It would make it so much easier! If I could manifest a saiyan bloodline..."

The wheel then started spinning faster and faster... And so did Wang Zi's heartbeat. He couldn't control his excitement!

And about 30 seconds in, the wheel started slowing down.

Until it came to astop. Wang Zi's finally calmed down, as the wheel landed squarely on one section.

"Naruto?" Wang Zi read aloud, blinking in surprise.

His eyes widened, a smile tugging at the corners of his lips. This was actually one of his favorite worlds. The world of ninjas, chakra, and legendary bloodlines.

"Its not a Saiyan's bloodline, but if I can get a Sage Body, or Guy's Taijutsu or physique, it'll definitely skyrocket my physical stats! Being an artist or whatever wouldn't matter anymore haha!"

Wang Zi grinned. He then took a moment to gather his thoughts before moving on to the next step. He remembered he also had a character selection card. This would allow him to choose a specific character from the world and potentially gain their abilities... or so he hoped.

With a wave of his hand, the character selection card materialized in front of him. After a few seconds, he had the system use it.

"The host has used a Designated character manifestation card[No Limit].

Please choose a character from the current pool of unlocked worlds to bind.

Current unlocked worlds: Naruto."

Wang Zi started thinking about his options. Uzumaki Naruto, the protagonist with the power of the Nine-Tails, the Uzumaki clan's bloodline and a possible sage body.

"System if i choose Naruto would I get the Nine-Tails?"

"No."

Wang Zi wasn't surprised, the big mass of chakra given shape wasn't one of Naruto's abilities after all. "And I wouldn't want anything like that inside me anyways, so not a big deal skipping Naruto."

Uchiha Sasuke the brooding genius with the Sharingan, also stood out.

"The Uchiha huh. Honestly speaking, barring the Otsutsuki, the Uchiha were without a doubt the strongest family in the series. Too bad most of them were a bunch of retards. I don't believe Fugaku couldn't stop Itachi. And Itachi himself being so brainwashed... What a load of horsecrap."

"But if I was to choose an Uchiha I'd rather go with Madara. Probably better stats overall. And both Itachi and Sasuke's personalities are a complete mismatch for me. There's also Shisui... Another idiot who revealed his biggest card to his enemy instead of his family. What a pity."

"Kakashi, Obito... Mid-tier at best. My man Guy. Even thought his template might not be very compatible with me, the 8 Inner Gates are way too good to pass up. But that's the only thing Guy has going for him I think. If he had a Sage Body or even if he was an Uzumaki he could've probably kicked Madara to death."

"The Raikage were also insane when it came to body training. But just like Guy, besides the Lightning Cloak and their bodies being trained, there's nothing special about them. I could probably rely on mana to do what they could when they were at their prime."

"Then there's just the Otsutsuki and my favourite character left. I know there were some more introduced in Boruto but I didn't watch it because so many people were talking trash about it... That leaves just Kaguya and her two "sons", the sage of the six paths Hagoromo and his brother Hamura of the tenseigan. One is just a soul, the other's dead, and the last one is sealed and has no idea how to use her powers. Sigh."

"And finally... Uzumaki Nagato. The greatest villain of Naruto imo. Such great potential... And they fucked him over. I still remember the first time the Deva Path fought Naruto. The chills!"

"He's probably the one that I'd choose... If his body wasn't so weak. Binding him will probably contribute nothing to my physical stats."

After talking to himself over the possible choices, Wang Zi closed his eyes and pondered.

"Its gotta be the 8 Inner Gates huh. Something like that is probably gonna last me a long time, and it will scale nicely with me. So Guy..."

Wang Zi suddenly opened his eyes, "Alright. System, use the Designated character manifestation card! I pick Might Guy!"

"Host has selected [Might Guy]. Proceed to use the Designated character manifestation card[No Limit] to bind [Might Guy] to the host?"

"Ye-"

Wang Zi suddenly paused. He looked at the card's description and frowned. The card had [No Limit] at the end. He didn't pay much attention to it before, but it wasn't something he remembered being explained.

"System, why does this card say [No Limit]?"

"[No Limit] on the character selector card means that the card you have is able to bypass the normal restrictions placed on character selection."

Wang Zi's eyes widened. He hadn't been expecting such an explanation. "Bypass restrictions? What kind of restrictions?" he asked, now even more intrigued.

The system continued:

"Each character in the multiverse has a specific tier based on their power level, potential, and influence within their world. Normal character cards have rarities associated with them, you are restricted to choosing characters of a tier equal to or below the card rarity."

Wang Zi processed the information. So if he had drawn a normal card, he would be limited in his ability to choose, again.

"I see, so this card... it's a special one? I guess its a benefit from the beginner pack." Wang Zi raised an eyebrow. His thoughts were racing now. Tiers?

"Alright then. System, can you show me the tiers next to the character names? Show me only the ones I've mentioned." Wang Zi muttered

"Yes host.

Seeing the list, Wang Zi pondered over it. Given the criteria the system said, the rankings seemed reasonable... Except for Nagato. "He had a Rinnegan that wasn't his, that ate up even at his Uzumaki bloodline, and he couldn't even walk. Is it because of his influence in the world? Or potential? Madara could easily overpower him so why is his tier so high? System?"

"Nagato wasn't just a wielder of the Rinnegan; he was one of the most dangerous and influential figures in the Naruto universe. His mastery over the Rinnegan was on a different level entirely. His Uzumaki blood was also extremely pure, sustaining him for many years even with the Rinnegan's drain on him. The fact that he was able to so deeply master all the Rinnegan's paths speaks volumes of what his power could have reached if he had a Rinnegan of his own."

Wang Zi remembered how Nagato, despite his young age and tragic past, rose to become the leader of the Akatsuki, a group of rogue ninja bent on bringing about world peace through an incredibly controversial method: pain and suffering.

Wang Zi had now thrown Guy out of his mind. If cards had tiers, he had to make the most of the [No Limit] card he had. He needed an SR-tier character.

"The Otsutsuki's template will probably be hard for me to complete. They're all complete idiots in my eyes. Besides living longer, other characters have what they have. I Don't know if their bloodline is gonna turn me all white either. Their abilities aren't unique anyways. And lifespan doesn't seem to be an issue with mana around. That leaves the Uchiha... The only SR are Shisui and Madara huh."

"I don't know much about Shisui or his abilities, but I know I can't get a Rinnegan without Senju blood, and I'm pretty sure he doesn't have that. Madara does get it but Hashirama's face... And from the anime it feels like his control over the Rinnegan doesn't even come close to Nagato."

"That's it then." Wang Zi muttered to himself. "Nagato… He's the one. His control over the Rinnegan, his understanding of chakra, and his bloodline... He's got everything I need to build a solid foundation. Plus he's got the only thing Naruto's world has that the other's don't, the eyes."

"I can already imagine the SP I can get if I show up dressed as Pain when I end up publishing Naruto... Especially if I show off the Rinnegan."

"Now the last question is, If I bind Nagato, do I get the Rinnegan? Its technically Madara's. System? Do I get the Rinnegan if I choose Uzumaki Nagato?"

"...Yes. Since the host has a [No Limit] card, it is possible."

Wang Zi breathed out, "Phew, SAFE! Good, system I've changed my mind. I choose Uzumaki Nagato!"

"Choice confirmed. Manifesting..."

As soon as he confirmed his choice, a surge of energy pulsed through Wang Zi's body, and a wave of dark mana enveloped him. His vision blurred for a moment, and then—snap—his eyes shifted. Wang Zi blinked rapidly, feeling an intense pressure around his eyes.

His vision had changed.

A pair of purple eyes with concentric circles and a unique pattern had manifested in him. The Rinnegan, one of the most powerful Dojutsu in the Naruto world, was now his.

But there was something strange about the feeling. As his vision focused, the Rinnegan's power seemed… incomplete. The eyes felt heavy with potential, but they lacked something.

As the energy continued running through his body, Wang Zi could feel it strengthening... But the change didn't seem as overwhelming as the one with his eyes.

Once the energy was exhausted, a blue panel familiar to Wang Zi popped up in his vision:

"Rinnegan (Partially Unlocked): The power of the Rinnegan has been manifested. Unlock more abilities through System Points or through self-discovery. Use System Points to accelerate development.

Current abilities:

Human Path: Extract and absorb souls and mana from others to strengthen yourself.

Preta Path: Absorb most mana-based attacks and abilities. Absorption limit based on host's stats.

Asura Path: Manifest mechanized limbs, weaponry and armor on the host's body. Not permanent."

Wang Zi raised his hand to his eyes, feeling the overwhelming potential thrumming inside him. He could already sense the gravity around him shifting slightly, but it seems the Deva Path was too much for the current him.

"SP again..." Wang Zi whispered, "I need to start working on that quest."

The system chimed again.

"Elemental Affinity (Unlocked): You have gained the ability to control and manipulate mana of the five basic elements—Fire, Water, Earth, Wind, and Lightning. Your control will grow with practice and training."

Wang Zi felt a rush of power, almost as if a door had opened within him, revealing the ability to control the world around him.

"Fire, Wind, Lightning... Water and Earth..." Wang Zi muttered to himself, smiling, "I forgot the Rinnegan had this ability."

"This is just the beginning." He grinned.

Wang Zi could feel his destiny shifting, no longer held back by his so called support class. 

With a flick of his wrist, the system window closed, and Wang Zi leaned back in his chair, his eyes still glowing with the power of the Rinnegan.

"System, show me my Status."

"All the worlds I unlocked, besides Demon Slayer and One Punch Man, are long term projects. But If I had to pick one to get more SP out of those two it would have to be..."
