Chapter 16: Luxion(3)
Looking at Leon, the robot decided to ask a couple of things before the end of his life.
"New human, tell me, what year is it now?"
"Wait, I'm not a new human, I'm from the old ones. Scan me more precisely, my DNA."
Hearing this, the robot paused for a moment, first analyzing.
"You do indeed have the DNA of the old humans, but a precise analysis is required. I apologize."
"And what are you apologizing for?" Leon barely understood before a hatch opened in the robot's armor, and a strange robot flew out, pulling a syringe out of itself and plunging it into Leon, drawing his blood. "Ouch, that hurts!"
"Please, bear with me, the analysis is underway," the robot began analyzing the blood, after which it gave an answer. "Inside you, we've detected the DNA of both old and new humans. From the old ones, your DNA matches that of the Japanese, and there are also other unknown ones."
At that moment, the first person spoke to the second:
"I told you, there is no such country as Lapland!"
"Shut up!" the second person replied.
"This is impossible," the robot said. "Such individuals should not exist! All the old humans should have perished." At this moment, Leon interrupted him:
"Wait, can I say that I am your owner?"
The robot snapped back to focus and replied:
"Yes, I register you as my new master. Would you like to give me a name?" the robot asked.
"Yes," Leon answered. "The name will be Luxion."
"Accepted."
At that moment, Leon raised his arm triumphantly as if he had won, and his split voice shouted:
"Hooray! Yeees! We did it!"
This did not go unnoticed by Luxion.
"We? Is there someone else here? My detection system hasn't found anyone," Luxion said.
"Oh, no, I mean inside me. There are two personalities inside my body," Leon explained.
Upon hearing this, Luxion quickly started searching his database for any information on this:
"Oh, so you have a split personality? Eh, my new master, crazy! Bu-bu-bu-bu, you've killed all my desires and motivation..."
Hearing this, Leon smiled. The first personality began to get angry, while the second only said that it was still the same as the original.
Looking at the armor, Leon said:
"First of all, no, we are not crazy. Inside my body, there are two personalities—me and me," Leon began explaining. After a couple of minutes, Luxion said:
"So, one of you claims that this world was a game for him, one that he had to play because of his sister, while the other claims he read about the first one's story in this world, meaning he knows the future. This is something like a recreation theory, but I find it hard to believe both of you."
The first immediately spoke up:
"Thanks to me, we found you! I bought you in the game as a pay-to-win cheat item!"
"And I know the future," added the second.
"Uh-huh, and I'm Houdini," Luxion said sarcastically at the second's words.
"Let me prove it to you, want to bet that I can make you angry with this news?"
Upon hearing this, Luxion seemed to look at Leon with interest.
"Bet accepted, I'm waiting."
"Hmm, I'll say just one word," the second continued.
And the first also began listening to the second with interest.
"Arcadia."
