Mobuseka:Leon's Adventure

Chapter 14: Luxion(1)

Since Leon left home, a week had passed. During this time, he had accomplished a lot. First of all, he registered as an official adventurer.

You might wonder: how is it possible to let a child become an adventurer? In this country, it's perfectly legal, and there are several reasons for that. The main one lies in the culture of the kingdom itself. Adventurers founded this state, and many noble families began their journey as adventurers. Even now, they often venture out to conquer dungeons, search for uncharted islands, and undertake other dangerous missions.

After registering, Leon spent some time doing typical adventurer tasks. For example, on the first day, he went into a dungeon. It turned out to be an easy one, and he successfully completed it on the same day.

Afterward, he decided to focus on finding Luxion. After several days of intensive searching, his efforts paid off.

Finding Luxion

At the ship's helm stood a tired Leon. After days of searching, he held a compass in his hands. Suddenly, the compass needle began spinning rapidly in full circles. The sky darkened, and in the distance, a massive hurricane appeared. Its surface began to glow with an otherworldly light.

"Wow, this looks way cooler in real life than I imagined!" exclaimed the First with excitement.

"Yeah! I've never seen anything like this before," agreed the Second.

Both of them were overwhelmed with excitement and joy. They knew they were on the verge of obtaining the most powerful thing in the universe.

"Alright, no more waiting! Let's go!" shouted the Second, brimming with energy.

"Yes!" replied the First, steering the ship toward the hurricane.

However, as they approached, the ship began creaking and falling apart.

"You said you reinforced the ship!" yelled the First at the Second, frustration evident in his voice.

"I did! I spent more than half of our money on it! Is this hurricane really that strong?"

While they argued, the ship continued to break down. Eventually, Leon was lifted into the air by the powerful winds.

Inside his mind, the First and Second acted out a comical scene: they hugged each other and screamed in terror, much like Scooby-Doo and Shaggy. But in reality, just a few seconds later, Leon landed on solid ground with barely a scratch.

The Floating Island

Getting up and brushing the dirt off himself, Leon began to look around.

"It's exactly like in the game!" said the First.

"Yeah, but there's so much more here than in the manga! Look at all these buildings and ruins... incredible," added the Second, his eyes scanning the surroundings with fascination.

"Let's check our gear," suggested the First.

They began inspecting their equipment. Leon wasn't heavily armed like characters in the manga, and the reason for this was the Second. According to him, only minimal gear was needed at the start, just enough to deal with the guards. After all, he claimed that convincing Luxion would only take a few words.

Walking Through the Ruins

As Leon wandered through the ruins, he suddenly heard a creaking noise. Hiding behind a corner, he peeked out and saw a robot. Without hesitation, he pulled out his rifle, loaded with magical bullets, and took it down with a single shot.

Step by step, he made his way forward until he reached a massive building.

"Ha, these vending machines really bring back memories," remarked the First.

"Absolutely," replied the Second.

Inside, they stumbled upon two skeletons. Leon bowed his head in respect, offering a short prayer. Then, after searching the remains, he found an access card.

The journey ahead wasn't easy: Leon fought his way through numerous robots before finally reaching his destination.
