Ezaki Kitazawa ignored his comment and spoke in a calm tone. 

"Sorry to say, but this is the end for you." 

Stain's face twisted in fury as he reached for his weapons, trying to strike back. 

But the moment he moved, the wood around him tightened, making him cry out in pain. 

"Your struggle is pointless." 

"Hahaha… And someone like you thinks they can be a symbol of peace? Thinks they can be the next All Might? Let me tell you—you're all just fakes!" 

Stain laughed maniacally. 

Ezaki Kitazawa frowned. 

"This has nothing to do with me, but sure, some pro heroes take dirty money. Still, at least they do their jobs and protect civilians." 

"But you twisted things in your mind and started expecting pro heroes—who are just professionals doing their jobs—to be selfless saviors of the world. Isn't that just ridiculous?" 

Ezaki Kitazawa had a point. 

In this world, pro heroes were simply a profession, just like police officers in his previous world. 

But Stain? 

Because of his own ideals, he had turned pro heroes into something they were never meant to be—selfless, world-saving figures. It was nothing but a joke. 

"Fakes! You're all fakes!" 

Stain completely ignored Ezaki Kitazawa's words. 

Ezaki Kitazawa raised his hand slightly and spoke in a deep voice. 

"Right, I almost forgot. You're just a lunatic." 

As soon as he finished speaking, lava spread across the entire area. 

Stain let out a painful scream as the trees binding him pulled him straight into the lava. 

In an instant, countless bubbles surfaced— 

Then, all movement stopped. 

Pro heroes had their own rules, but so did Ezaki Kitazawa. 

He avoided unnecessary trouble whenever he could. 

If someone wanted to kill him and he could win, he wouldn't leave them alive. 

If he couldn't win now, he would come back and finish them off when he could. 

He could be an angel who saved civilians. 

He could also be a demon. 

Which one he was depended on who he was dealing with. 

Ezaki Kitazawa retracted his Quirk and took a moment to marvel at how powerful Hellfire Lava was. It had exceeded his expectations. 

"A fully upgraded Quirk really is something else. It can even change the ground itself." 

He muttered to himself. 

That was the biggest upgrade—his ability could now alter the very nature of the terrain. The affected area depended on how much power he unleashed. 

Just as Ezaki Kitazawa was lost in thought, a voice suddenly came from a nearby corner. 

"What are you doing?" 

Ezaki Kitazawa was startled and turned toward the sound. 

It was a woman. 

When she saw him, she picked up her pace and walked over. 

"You're Ezaki Kitazawa… the boy who just won the first-year championship!" 

Ezaki Kitazawa smiled and responded. 

"Yes, ma'am."

"Your match was really exciting! But, by the way, what are you doing here?" 

The woman asked curiously. 

"The road home is under repair, so I took a shortcut. But just now, I saw a suspicious guy sneaking around, probably trying to break into someone's house. I shouted a few times, and he ran off." 

Ezaki Kitazawa explained calmly. 

The woman didn't overthink it and said, "If you see something like that, you should call the police. It's dangerous." 

"Got it, Auntie. If there's nothing else, I'll be heading home." 

Ezaki Kitazawa replied. 

"Alright, be careful on the way!" 

The woman reminded him. 

Ezaki Kitazawa nodded and continued walking home. 

His parents had come home early that day and even prepared a big dinner to celebrate his championship win. 

The next day, U.A. was on break. Ezaki Kitazawa rested for half the day, and in the afternoon, while heading out to find Toga Himiko, he unexpectedly ran into some of Chisaki Kai's men. 

He was then invited inside for tea. 

"Congratulations, Ezaki Kitazawa, for winning the first-year championship!" 

Chisaki clapped while sitting on the couch. 

Ezaki Kitazawa picked up a glass of water from the table, took a sip, and said casually, "It's just a kid's game. Nothing worth congratulating." 

"This achievement is significant. You're the first student in U.A. history to have your moves banned by the school." 

A man wearing a bird-like mask, standing behind Chisaki, added. 

"We watched your matches live. They were truly incredible. I think after this, everyone knows that U.A. has an extraordinary genius." 

Another person chimed in. 

"Heh." 

Ezaki Kitazawa gave a faint smile. 

"By the way, Ezaki Kitazawa, I assume you've fought All For One before?" 

Chisaki asked, his gaze fixed on him. 

Ezaki Kitazawa paused, then smirked. 

"Yeah, I have. Almost got killed, though." 

"All For One is the ruler of the underworld now. That includes us, Shie Hassaikai. Even our elders fear him." 

Chisaki said calmly. 

"Isn't that normal?" 

Ezaki Kitazawa replied. 

Just as he finished speaking, a man in a white lab coat suddenly rushed in, panting. Without even looking at the room, he blurted out, "Bad news! The brat ran away!" 

Chisaki's expression froze for a moment before he turned to the man and shouted, "What did you just say? Can't you see I have a guest?" 

The man in the lab coat immediately panicked.
