MHA; Natsu Dragneel!

Chapter 27: Chapter 27: Todoroki’s Move

**Chapter 27: Todoroki's Move**

Like a blazing comet, Natsu surged forward, his body a living inferno as he tore across the dusty terrain. He wasn't merely running—he was a force of nature, a red star streaking through the battlefield, leaving a trail of scorched earth and swirling dust in his wake. The sheer speed of his movement sent shockwaves through the air, the ground trembling beneath his fiery steps. As he passed the other students, they barely had time to register his presence. Uraraka's eyes widened in shock, her brown hair whipping back from the force of his passing. "Natsu!" she gasped, but the word was swallowed by the roar of flames as he blazed past her, a fiery streak that left the air crackling in his wake. Aoyama, standing nearby, could only utter, "What the...?" before Natsu vanished from his view, a blur of heat and motion rushing ahead.

Natsu reached the first obstacle—a towering metallic robot, its hulking frame casting a shadow over the course. The machine stood as a formidable challenge, one that neither he nor the students behind him, including Uraraka and Aoyama, had yet to overcome. The others, further ahead, had already cleared this obstacle and moved on, but Natsu wasn't one to be deterred by such a trivial barrier.

Without hesitation, Natsu leapt into the air, the flames around him intensifying as he soared upward. He climbed 20 meters into the sky, leaving a red-hot trail of fire behind him that slowly faded like the wake of a falling star. At the peak of his jump, Natsu's eyes locked onto the robot's head, a memory flashing in his mind—Midoriya's desperate, bone-shattering punch during the entrance exam. But Natsu wasn't Midoriya. He clenched his right fist, flames swirling around his arm as he wound up for a devastating strike. "This time, no broken hands," he muttered with a smirk. In one swift motion, he delivered a fiery punch straight to the robot's head, and the impact was immediate and catastrophic.

The robot's head shattered under the force, metal fragments scattering in all directions as flames erupted from the point of impact. Smoke billowed into the sky, and the entire metallic giant crumbled, its legs buckling as it began its slow, thunderous descent. The ground shook as the robot collapsed, sending a cloud of dust and debris into the air.

Yamada, the commentator, was beside himself with excitement, his voice booming through the arena. "What an explosion! Natsu Dragneel has taken down the giant robot with a single punch! Unbelievable! Is there anything this guy *can't* do?!"

As the giant fell, Natsu descended back to the earth, the wind tugging at his clothes and hair as he landed gracefully. Uraraka and Aoyama stood frozen, their faces painted with shock as the robot crashed into the ground behind Natsu, the sound of metal grinding against the earth echoing through the arena. The crowd was stunned into silence for a moment before bursting into wild applause, their cheers reverberating through the stadium. People watching from home stared in disbelief at their screens, their jaws dropping at the spectacle they had just witnessed.

As soon as Natsu's feet touched the ground, he didn't waste a second. With a burst of flames, he shot forward again, leaving behind only a fiery trail as he raced toward the second obstacle, his momentum carrying him like a burning comet through the course. The crowd's cheers grew louder, their excitement reaching a fever pitch as Natsu closed the gap between himself and the frontrunners.

Happy, watching from behind, marveled at Natsu's speed and determination. "So that's why he challenged me to a race," he muttered, his eyes narrowing with newfound resolve. "But I won't lose! Not to him!" And with that, Happy spread his wings and soared into the air, determined to catch up.

Meanwhile, at the front of the pack, Todoroki had already cleared the second obstacle and was making his way toward the third, the final and most challenging part of the course. The sounds of cheering echoed from the stadium, growing louder as Natsu closed in. Todoroki's sharp senses picked up on the excitement, and without needing to look, he knew. "So, you've come at last," Todoroki muttered to himself. He glanced over his shoulder, his white and red hair shifting slightly with the movement. His expression remained calm, but his eyes burned with a quiet intensity. "I'll give you a proper welcome."

Without a moment's hesitation, Todoroki slammed his right foot into the ground. "The impenetrable wall!" he called out as the earth shook beneath him. A towering wall of ice shot up from the ground, crystalline and massive, rising to seal off the path behind him. He had unleashed the full extent of his ice power, creating a barrier that blocked the entire race track for those following behind him. The wall gleamed in the sunlight, its surface smooth and unyielding, a testament to Todoroki's mastery over his quirk.

Todoroki stood at the front, encased in shards of ice, his breath visible in the cold air. The icy shell around him began to melt as he activated the fire from his left side, balancing his body's temperature. As the ice chipped away, turning into droplets of water that resembled sweat falling to the ground, Todoroki narrowed his eyes and spoke quietly, his voice barely audible over the roaring crowd.

"While you struggle behind that wall, I'll be claiming first place."

The audience erupted into frenzied cheers at the sight of Todoroki's display of power. Yamada, practically bouncing in his commentator's booth, shouted into the microphone, "What a move! Todoroki has completely sealed off the course! Can anyone break through that massive wall of ice? This is turning into a real challenge, folks!"

The tension in the air was palpable, with everyone on the edge of their seats, eager to see what would happen next. Could anyone—even Natsu with his fiery power—overcome Todoroki's icy barrier? The stage was set for an epic clash, and the world was watching.
