MHA: A system of whimsy

Chapter 13: Chapter 13: Date with Yaoyorozu

*

After the academy.

After placing my order, I looked at Yaoyorozu with a smile:

- You love sweets so much...

She ordered quite a lot of cakes.

- Mm... I need to eat a lot to maintain my quirk. Sweets are the best choice. And delicious too.

- That's it... I'll know what I can do to make you happy.

Smiling sweetly, Momo added:

- I eat quite a lot... Doesn't that bother you?

Well, considering she took almost the whole cake... For many girls, this is a dream come true. Not to mention its practical benefits.

- There is nothing about you that bothers me.

Momo blushed slightly and then licked the cream rather charmingly:

- I noticed...

We met eyes, but she didn't look away, continuing to blush.

That's when I said:

- I like you, Yaoyorozu. So... Can I call you by your name?

- Huh? - She almost dropped the spoon, blushing.

- L-like me? I mean... I mean, like...

- As a girl, of course, - I spoke confidently and looked her straight in the eyes: - I liked you at first sight. Sweet, smart and kind. I'm sure you noticed it yourself...

Momo stopped eating and looked at me rather strangely, after which she finally answered:

- I noticed...

Well, of course. Even Uraraka would understand my atypical views and words, not to mention you.

I smiled:

- And you still went on a date with me.

- A-a date?!

I laughed and took a sip of tea, then said:

- What does it look like?

Momo was silent for a moment longer, and then quickly began to eat.

Cutie...

She didn't seem to mind, but she was still very embarrassed. I probably rushed into confessing. My confidence and persistence probably didn't scare her too much, because then she wouldn't have agreed to go with me. I had no doubts about my appearance and quirk, so I didn't waste time. Why not take what you want? Why have unnecessary doubts?

- So... Can I call you Momo?

She looked up at me with a slightly worried expression, then pursed her lips:

- Mm...

This was probably a first for her. An experienced girl would hardly keep quiet and hand over the initiative to the guy. This also said that she liked me too and trusted me to a certain extent. Although, I do not rule out that this was a kind of test of how far I would go. If I started to go too far and be impudent, then she could get up and leave at any moment. Inside, Yaoyorozu was modest and timid, that was obvious, but not stupid and cowardly. She may not have realized it, but, in fact, she was giving this relationship a chance, and a lot depended on how I behaved. Was it worth it... If she were an ordinary girl, she would have followed the lead of simple sympathy, but she did not rely on feelings alone. The haste with which everything came to this probably also worried her.

Well... I have to admit, I started to like this girl even more.

- Then, Momo... Call me by my name too.

She looked down a little uncertainly, but then said:

"Koji..."

- Simple, isn't it? - I decided to ease the tension, grinning. It wouldn't work in one go anyway. It would take a lot more words and pheromones for the innocent girl to let me near her.

— Will you tell me about yourself?

- Hmm... Well... Yes? What do you want to know?

It seems she supported this option too.

In the end, after a small snack, at least on my part, we walked in the park, and after sunset I walked her home.

"I still can't get used to the fact that the girl of my dreams is incredibly rich," I joked, making Momo embarrassed.

— I'm not such a dream girl...

"I know better," and then I suddenly took her hand.

- Ah... K-koji?

What a timid one...

- So soft. Isn't this the palm of a dream girl?

Momo blushed again. I made her do that dozens of times today. Cutie...

The skin is truly incredibly soft.

And then...

- W-what's next?! Ah...

I kissed her palm, making her shudder.

"Koji!"

And he laughed when he saw the expression on her face.

- You are so sweet...

- F-fool! - and she abruptly pulled her hand away: - S-stop... It's time for us to go.

Overdid it? No... Quite the opposite. She was very embarrassed, but not at all angry.

Well, if that's the case, then...

- I like you, remember?

- Um... - Momo looked at me with bewilderment.

- I reminded you so you wouldn't forget. Well, I have to go! - I grinned and wanted to hug her, but Momo only blushed even more:

- Bye! I have to go! - and ran away...

Heh... How charming...

As I watched her go, I thought...

Maybe it's time for me too?

Well, I haven't trained at all today. I should probably catch up before bed. Things are about to get busy, since the League of Villains is on the alert and I'm going to meet them soon. I need to be prepared.

The next day at the academy was quite eventful.

Election of the headman.

And to my surprise...

— Are you serious?

Somehow, most of the class voted for me. And I had way too many votes...

I wanted to protest, but...

"Well... Bakugou Koji has been declared the class representative, and Yaoyorozu has been declared his vice-class representative." Aizawa clearly didn't care about the situation.

Hmm...

Momo got my vote and a couple more, but... Why did it turn out this way?

It seems my actions influenced the course of events in a completely different way, and Midoriya ended up after Yaoyorozu...

Fortunately, everything was resolved later.

That same event with the destruction of the main gate of UA happened. Then I was quietly having lunch in the cafeteria with Momo, and then the alarm sounded, which I wanted to ignore, but my future girlfriend forced me to go with everyone. True, I managed to convince her that we should go last. Thus, we managed to avoid the crush in the corridor...

Iida proved himself, so, like Midoriya in canon, I decided to shift the responsibility of being class president onto the shoulders of this nerd.

Fortunately, many people supported me in this. Momo was a little upset, but I explained to her that if I had such responsibilities, there would be no time left for meetings with her, to which she quite boldly, surprising even me, retorted that we would have a decent amount of time, considering that she would become my assistant.

Our first fight? Hardly. In the end, I told her that I don't really like commanding and building the class, being responsible for them, and so on. It's better to study and train. Such an honest answer satisfied her quite well, although she was clearly a little sulky.

It seems that that date had quite an effect on her. Even though we weren't dating, everything was heading that way. I think if I propose, she won't refuse.

I will do so in the near future... Today I had something to do that could not be postponed.

League of Villains.
