MCU : The Seventh Avenger

(A/N: The characters are from the MCU so I don't have to put the pictures. The MC is the one on the cover.)

Nick Fury was currently in his office in the Helicarrier as he was looking out of the window. Not too long ago he and his subordinates had been attacked by Loki and his best Agent Clint Barton had been turned by the God along with a scientist. Fury had managed to escape but the facility was destroyed and the Tesseract was also taken.

All in all, it was not a good day for the SHIELD director. He stayed like this for sometime when the door to his office opened which caught his attention. He turned and saw his agent Maria Hill enter. She walked and stood a few metres away from his desk in attention. Fury turned around and looked at her.

"What is it Agent Hill?" Fury asked him.

"Sir, I just came for confirmation. I know that the Tesseract has been stolen but are you sure about this decision?" Maria Hill asked worried.

"I'm quite sure. I wouldn't give the order if I wasn't." Fury said to her.

"But sir, these individuals that you want to gather, I don't know how this will work." Hill said as she took a file from back.

"Explain." Fury said in his usual tone.

"Well, Tony Stark, known as Iron Man. Genius, playboy, billionaire, philanthropist. Owner of Stark industries and one of the most influential individuals in the world. Has an ego and doesn't play well with others and has the resources to create powerful iron armors." Hill said as she went over his section.

"Steve Rogers, known infamously as Captain America. The hero of the Second World War. Has many military honours to his name and a great soldier. But due to the change in time he does not have the best of moods. As you know." Hill said before directing the last bit to Fury as she flipped the section.

"Dr. Bruce Banner, a scientist who went through an experiment and was exposed to high amounts of Gamma radiation. This caused him to turn into a destructive creature when angered. Currently in hiding, as far as he is concerned. Adviced to treat with caution and is very dangerous when turned due to heightened physical capabilities." Hill said as she flipped his section.

"Thor, literal God of Thunder from the Norse mythology. Confirmed alien and prince of Asgard. A powerful warrior who could destroy foes larger than him if the legends were to be believed. Possesses the ability to control lightning to a degree never seen before and very powerful. Statistically the strongest being on Earth." Hill said to him as she flipped the section.

"Natasha Romanoff, Codename Black Widow. Assassin of Shield and a very important. But owing to being an assassin is much more well-versed in single missions than in a group. One of the top, if not the top, assassin of the World." Maria Hill said as she flipped through that section.

"Finally, Clint Barton, codename Hawkeye. Agent of Shield and master marksman, especially with the bow. One of the Top agents of shield but was turned by Loki after the attack on the Tesseract facility. Current Status - Missing." Hill said as she closed the file.

"And you're problem is?" Fury asked her.

"It's quite simple sir. Your plan includes getting all of these individuals together and having them work together to stop what might be a threat to the whole of Earth." Hill said to him.

"Yes, that is correct." Fury said to her.

"Sir, with all due respect, all these individuals are very remarkable and can be good assets. But they are not trained to work with eachother. Putting them all together would be frankly, chaos sir." Hill said to him.

Fury stayed silent as he nodded to her.

"I see your concerns Agent Hill. But unfortunately for us, we don't have a choice. That Tesseract is far too powerful to be left in the hands of someone like Loki. We need these people." Fury said to her.

"I understand sir." Hill said knowing that there was no talking the director out of it.

"On that note, I have found another candidate to add to the group." Fury said as he opened his drawer.

"Another one?" Hill said surprised when she heard it.

She was surprised when she heard that. He had already thought of bringing together six powerful and skilled people and now there was one more. Her thoughts were interrupted when Fury took out a file and placed it on a table. Hill took the file and looked at the information in it as her brows creased.

"An Indian solider working for RAW?" Hill said as she looked at her boss.

"Yes, he had come to my attention a while back. Joined the army at 18, moved to RAW at 23 and has been working for the division ever since. Top of his class and a skilled soldier, smart as well. He can be called as the most skilled soldier on the Asian continent." Fury said to her.

"But are you sure he will accept?" Hill asked.

"I'll make sure he does. While you must tell the plan to be captain." Fury said to her.

"Yes sir." Hill said to him.

"Good. Now go and prepare my chopper." Fury said to her.

"Sir." Hill said as she exited the room.

Fury turned and looked outside the window again as silence was back in place.
