"Rin, your surgical skills are excellent. I've heard that even on the battlefield, in the midst of chaos, you can still perform eye replacement surgery with precision. You're highly proficient in basic medical ninjutsu and surgical procedures. If you keep this up, you'll soon be ready for the medical Jōnin assessment," Yakushi Nono said as she carefully examined Kakashi's Sharingan.

"Kakashi's eye transplant is the best one I've seen so far. Even if I had performed the operation myself, the results wouldn't have been any better," she added, acknowledging Nohara Rin's expertise.

Then, with a thoughtful expression, she continued, "Sharingan can't be deactivated—this isn't Kakashi's fault. When an Uchiha experiences extreme emotions, a special chakra is produced in the brain. This chakra alters the optic nerves, ultimately transforming the eyes into Sharingan. The true essence of the Sharingan lies in this unique chakra, not just in the eyes themselves."

This information came from medical research notes Tsunade had provided to Nono as a reward for her assistance. 

Among those notes were studies on human anatomy conducted during the Second Hokage's era, including extensive research on the Sharingan. 

In terms of human body research, Senju Tobirama was Konoha's true expert—Tsunade herself had far less knowledge in this area.

Upon hearing this, Nohara Rin quickly grasped the issue. "So… the reason Kakashi can't control his Sharingan is because he lacks that special chakra?"

Nono nodded. "Exactly. Although the eyes undergo the most obvious transformation, the brain, optic nerves, and chakra system are all affected as well. Since Kakashi received a direct transplant without the corresponding chakra transformation, he can't control the Sharingan the way an Uchiha would."

Rin understood what Nono was saying, but she felt helpless. 

The only way to resolve Kakashi's issue would be for Obito to transfer the special chakra that triggered his Sharingan's evolution. But Obito was dead.

Without that unique chakra, the only alternative would be to modify Kakashi's brain, optic nerves, and entire chakra system—an impossible task, even for Tsunade.

Disappointed, Rin sighed. "I see… Thank you, Teacher Nono. It seems Kakashi's Sharingan will have to remain this way."

"Actually, not all hope is lost," Nono replied calmly, reigniting Rin's curiosity. Seeing the spark of interest return to her student's eyes, she continued, "This information is classified, but… Lin, do you know that Nawaki, Tsunade-sama's younger brother, had never awakened the Wood Style bloodline limit before?"

Rin nodded, listening intently.

"He was once gravely injured—so much so that he had to retire from being a ninja. But not only did he make a full recovery, he also awakened powerful Wood Style abilities."

At that point, Nono stopped speaking, leaving Rin hanging in suspense.

Eager for more, Rin quickly asked, "Teacher Nono, what happened after that?"

"The rest is classified," Nono replied with a knowing smile. "Unless you become a high-ranking official at Konoha Hospital, you won't have the clearance to access that information."

With that, she gathered her documents, tapped the window of the examination room, and left—ignoring Rin's pleas for more details.

Not long after, Kakashi emerged from the room and immediately noticed Rin's troubled expression.

"Rin, don't worry about it," he said, offering reassurance. "As long as the Uchiha don't come to reclaim this Sharingan, it'll be fine."

Kakashi's words reignited Nohara Rin's determination. In her heart, she firmly vowed,' Don't worry, Kakashi. I'll found a way.'

If someone who was gravely injured could still inherit the Wood Style bloodline, then fully integrating the Sharingan shouldn't be impossible. 

'Teacher Nono must have been trying to hint at this', Rin thought, her mind racing with possibilities.

However, before she could investigate further, she had to become a medical Jōnin. Without that rank, she wouldn't have the clearance to access such classified information.

"Yashiro-kun, the village has endured several consecutive wars, leaving vacancies in various departments. For the outstanding ninjas of the Uchiha clan, the village is willing to provide appropriate opportunities for promotion. You may distribute these appointments accordingly."

Orochimaru handed a stack of appointment documents to Uchiha Yashiro. The papers included the promotion of six new Anbu members, three medical ninjas, a sealing team member, a mission team member, and three newly appointed Jōnin.

Previously, the Uchiha clan had been confined to the Konoha Military Police Force, and even Jōnin-level positions within the clan were tied to that unit. 

Few Uchiha had passed the village's official assessment to become Jōnin, often facing rejection for various reasons.

Despite being Konoha's strongest clan in terms of ninja prowess, their political standing was weak, limiting their influence beyond the police force. 

However, with this sudden change, Uchiha Yashiro was overjoyed.

"Thank you, Hokage-sama, for placing your trust in the Uchiha clan. We will work hard for the village," he said, his gratitude evident.
