Zoe ducked behind a tree, trying to catch her breath while firing a few more rounds at the attackers. Zoe knew reinforcements were on the way, but could they hold out long enough?

A burst of bullets sliced through the air, cutting through the thick bushes that Zoe was using for cover. Fragments of leaves and branches flew in all directions, while the sound of gunfire was deafening.

In three quick jumps, Lance managed to exit the park's woods and arrive on the street not far from the abandoned police car.

Several armed men were forcing two police officers deeper into the woods. From that position, they began shooting, their bullets raining down around them, and sawdust flying in the air.

At the same time, two other armed men planned to circle to the left and surround the two police officers.

Lance approached the two armed men on the left and then jumped with incredible strength. It was as if Lance was flying through the air like a great stork gliding.

Lance's right arm formed an almost invisible arc to the armed men, and with a swift motion, Lance glided smoothly toward the target.

In a flash, Lance crouched down, and a dagger slid past his calf.
