Marvel: Stark Tower Dungeon

After everyone went back to their respective places.

Tony brought Arthur with him to the Stark Tower. He lived there with Pepper Pott, his wife and CEO.

They also had a daughter together named Morgan Stark. She was five years old.

This made Arthur realize that the Marvel Universe that he was in, was the universe that he knew nothing of.

Something could happen and he wouldn't know about it at all.

The tower was very tall and very advanced by the current era standard.

Tony observed his reaction closely.

Arthur didn't think that he would come to this place earlier than he anticipated.

"Welcome to my tower. How is it? Isn't it impressive?"

Tony wanted to see his surprise reaction. 

And his wish was granted.

This made Tony feel really proud of himself.

However, Tony didn't know that Arther wasn't surprised by the grandeur of the Stark Tower.

He was surprised because he saw a red portal in front of the tower that had a countdown above it.

No one saw it even Tony himself.

「20d17h35m」

He had almost 3 weeks left before the portal would break. And it would make the entire Stark Tower become Tower Dungeon.

'Should I tell Tony about it? But he can't see it.'

Arthur didn't know when the dungeon would break out. And something bad would happen to everyone inside the tower or not.

And when he was contemplating it.

Tony, who was ignorant of the danger of the red portal, said to Arthur.

"Follow me, I will show you how you can  access where you will be living from now on."

Tony led him toward an elevator that had many strong looking bodyguards, guarding it. 

They were not humans as Athur could tell by his super senses.

Arthur checked their parameters out of curiosity.

"You notice that they are not human right."

Tony saw that Arthur looked at them intensely. 

He knew right away that Arthur should be able to discern that they were not human.

"Yes, I can't hear their heartbeat and can feel their abnormal temperature."

Tony nodded his head. He believed what he said.

Jarvis had told him about his super senses.

They rode the elevator to the top floor where it was a living space for the Stark family.

"You finally return Tony. Come and help me with the work you left piled up now."

A beautiful middle aged woman appeared out of nowhere and she looked at Tony with her sharp eyes.

Arthur saw her and knew that she was Pepper Pott. Tony Stark's beloved wife.

Tony must have thrown all of his work to her and went out to relax by himself.

Tony felt afraid when he saw how angry Pepper was.

"Oh right, I forgot about it completely. Sorry."

Pepper was about to scold him even more for forgetting something very important. 

However, she noticed that they had a guest.

When Tony saw her, attention went to Arthur. He immediately introduced him to her.

"This is Arthur Leywin. An orphan I picked up from Kenny place. He will be staying with us from now on."

Pepper heard that and was shocked that he would bring someone with him to live with them without even consulting her.

She didn't mind if he would bring someone to live with them but at least she wanted him to tell her first so she could prepare things properly.

"You are really too much, Tony. How could you not tell your wife beforehand?"

Before Pepper could scold him about it. Arthur scolded him first.

"I… forgot about it again…"

Arthur sighed when he heard him. How could he be this forgetful?

He apologized to Pepper. 

He thought that Tony had told her about him beforehand. And he didn't think he would let him stay with them like this.

Tony just told Jarvis to prepare a room but he didn't tell Jarvis to tell Pepper.

And because Arthur had scolded Tony for her.

Pepper felt a lot better. At least Arthur was a sensible person.

Pepper then greeted Arthur warmly. She had become a mother so she had a soft spot for kids and young people.

Not to mention Arthur was parentless like Tony.

She said that he could stay with them as long as he wanted.

"Now I will show him his room. You go and finish your work. Oh and today you will sleep on the couch."

Pepper said and led Arthur in Tony's stead.

Tony whined about him having to sleep on the couch. However, Pepper wouldn't listen to him at all.

She just led Arthur to the room Jarvis had prepared for him.

Two weeks and five days had passed since Tony brought Arthur to his home. 

Now he had only two days left before the time when the dungeon portal would break out.

Arthur felt that he was ready for it.

Tony was still very busy with his earth shattering projects and his duty as Iron Man. 

So Arthur didn't have a chance to tell him about the portal yet.

He thought about the first day he lived with them.

"Even if I told him, I lack evidence. He might believe me but I don't think he can do anything about it."

That was his thought before he lived with him and his family for two weeks.

Arthur was taken care of by Pepper. 

He was originally an orphan. And being well cared for by Pepper made him feel warm from the inside.

Pepper really liked Arthur to the point that she wanted to adopt him.

She asked Tony about his opinion and the answer she got from him was.

"Why not? We could have as many kids as we wanted. We are too rich to use all the money we have anyway."

Arthur then was asked by Pepper after that if he didn't mind being adopted by them. 

He thought about it for a while before he gave her answer.

Pepper became much happier after that. 

Tony was often forgotten by her as she was busy taking care of her children.

He felt wrong but there was nothing he could do.

Arthur became much stronger the past two weeks and five days but it became a lot slower. 

Arthur had to train himself if he wanted to get stronger faster.

"Unfortunately, Tony didn't have a place for me to train. And he is too busy to make a training chamber for me."

Tony told him that he could try to make one himself with the help of Jarvis.

However, he was not that smart to create something like that even with the help of Jarvis.

"I am not a genius. Even If I were to study hard. I can not hope to reach his level."

Arthur would focus on other aspects that suit him.

He could not train outer strength then he would train inner strength instead.

Arthur could feel mana inside his body but it was very hard to control.

His MAG increased and he decided to level up when all of his parameters reached SS rank.

"Now, the parameters increase far slower than before. Meditation becomes useless. I think I should focus on something else."

Arthur was thinking about what he should do about the two days that he had left.

He then heard someone calling for him.

"Art! Play with me please!"

Morgan was shy around him at first. But when they interact with each other more often.

She became close to him and called him Art rather than his full name.

Arthur didn't mind it and let her call him whatever she wanted.

"Okay, what do you want to play today?"

Arthur thought that there was nothing for him to prepare anymore. He could spend time with Morgan.

Morgan thought about it and she said that she wanted to play hide and seek.

Even though Arthur could win every time, he would always let her win a few times so she would not feel bad toward herself.

"Art is really good. You found me again."

Morgan felt lonely before but now she had a big brother who played with her alot.

She became more confident and made a lot of friends because of him.

Morgan wondered when Arthur would have many friends like her.

Arthur, if he knew what she was thinking he would tell her that he didn't need friends right now.

At least he wanted to become strong enough to survive first.

「0d1h30m」

It's almost time for the dungeon to break out at the Stark Tower.

Arthur hadn't had a chance to talk to Tony about this yet, but he had been making a lot of preparations over the past three weeks.

"I hope these android bots could stand a chance against them…"

Arthur had asked Tony permission to order the android around.

And he actually gave him the authority. However, Jarvis was still there to oversee everything to make sure that no harm would come to him.

He trusted Arthur that he wouldn't do anything bad with it.

As for Pepper and Morgan.

They would be safe, because they're both out on a trip somewhere with Tony by his suggestion that they needed family time.

"Thankfully, Pepper seemed to think of me as her son."

It felt weird but not that bad. She was actually the one who asked Tony to adopt him into the family.

And while he was thinking about adoption, The red portal was shaking.

"Jarvis, do you see that?"

Arthur asked Jarvis again. 

He had asked him before about the portal but even Jarvis couldn't detect anything but now it was different.

"Scan complete, an unknown energy detected. Does the young sir want to activate the defense protocol on the android bots?"

Jarvis sensed that something was wrong with Stark Tower. Normally, it would be Tony who makes the decision.

However, he was not here and he transferred part of his rights to Arthur.

So Jarvis asked Arthur first because he was in the situation and could assess what needed to be done more clearly than Tony, who was hundreds of miles away.

Arthur nodded and then said.

"Yes, activate the defend protocol and alert everyone in the tower. Some unknown and dangerous creatures will appear and might hurt them."

Upon receiving the order, Jarvis immediately followed it.

"The order has been received, the defense protocol is activated. Evacuation was carried out immediately."

After Jarvis ran his command,

Arthur looked at the red portal. It told him that in an hour the portal would be opened and dangerous creatures would escape from it.

In order to complete the mission, he must be the first to enter this red portal.

Arthur looked to his mission to make sure that what he would do next was correct.

「In one month Stark Tower will become a tower dungeon, Please become the first person who stepped inside the dungeon and challenged it.」

「Reward: Ophis and Great Red awakening.」

"Alright, I have to go inside the red portal after it opens."

Arthur had already prepared himself. If he wanted to survive in the Marvel world, he would have to become stronger. He had no idea how dangerous the world he was living in was.

But he knew one thing: with enough power, he could do anything.

An hour was a very fast time for Arthur. The red portal finally opened. 

Arthur thought nothing more and immediately jumped into the red portal.

Jarvis was surprised by Arthur's actions. He didn't think Arthur would jump into the portal like that.

Jarvis contacted Tony immediately. Tony should have gotten the alarm by now, and he should have put on his Iron Man suit and flown to Stark Tower immediately.

Arthur was surprised when he entered the red portal.

There was a town in the dungeon.

The town in the dungeon was a medieval town. He saw people walking around in rather outdated clothing.

Moreover, there were knights holding swords staring at him with suspicion. They were walking towards him with serious expressions.

He just entered the dungeon and he already encountered problems.

"System, are you sure this is a dungeon? Why do I feel like I've come to another world? Answer me, system."

The system didn't reply to him, but it replied with a reward instead.

「Congratulations for being the first to enter the dungeon」

「Dungeon information」

「Re-zero world」

「Mission: Kill Petelgeuse Romanee Conti and steal the Authority Of Sloth for yourself.」

Arthur had read this light novel before, and he felt very sorry for the protagonist. 

He had to die over and over again.

If Arthur were him, he definitely wouldn't be able to do it. 

What kind of person could endure dying over and over again without being able to tell anyone what they've been through?

"Well, first I have to get out of here. The knights seem to think I am a dangerous person."

Arthur moved quickly, jumping between houses. He channeled mana throughout his body. 

As he fled from the knights, he noticed a young man being attacked by three bandits.

"That must be a Subaru, if I remember correctly, He will die from being stabbed."

Arthur changed his direction of movement before jumping down to save Subaru. At least he didn't want to let him die in vain.

The three thieves wanted to kill Subaru, but Arthur arrived and he blocked the three thieves' attacks. 

His body became much stronger. The three thieves' attacks were useless in front of him.

He then kicked the three of them with great speed, causing the three thieves to be sent flying and hit the side wall, their bodies instantly crushed into meat paste.

"Shit, I forgot to stop the flow of mana before attacking them."

Arthur was surprised that he killed all three bandits instantly with just a light kick. 

He would have to be more careful about channeling mana into his body from now on.

As for the fact that he just killed three people, it's strange that he doesn't feel anything.

'What happened to me? Why don't I feel anything even though this is my first time killing someone?'
