Marvel: Stark Tower Dungeon

Chapter 3: Chapter 3 Come and take responsibility! (Rewrited)

Arthur didn't do anything and just checked their parameters. They were pretty strong for human standards.

However, compared to Peter, they were way weaker than him.

The agents could detect the invisible jet that was flying above them as well.

They communicated with them using a high-tech device. After that the invisible jet then showed itself and landed smoothly in front of them.

"Stay alert, they are young, but all of them are mutants," said the leader of the agents as they watched the group of teenagers come out of the jet.

Arthur knew them. There were Cyclop, Marvel Girl, Nightcrawler, and Shadowcat. They looked close to his age.

He checked their parameters and found that they were very strong. They were stronger than him.

Even the youngest member of the team.

Cyclop, as the leader of the group, came forward and spoke to the agents.

"We have come here to invite one of our kind to join us. Shield agents, please go back to your headquarters and inform your superiors of our request." Cyclop said it with a serious expression.

"We can't do that. We still don't know if he is a mutant or not. And we are the ones who found him first." The leader of the Shield agents replied while crossing his arms.

He won't take any orders from the kid. Cyclop didn't say anything and looked at his teammates. He whispered to them.

Shield agents might not hear it, but Arthur, with his sense of hearing, could hear him clearly.

"I—I think they won't listen to me. What should I do?" said Cyclop timidly.

Arthur blinked. Cyclop actually asked his friend for help, and his sound was a little meek.

Marvel Girl, or Jean Gray, sighed, and then she stepped forward. She whispered back to Scott to let her handle this situation.

Scott said sorry and told her that he would do better next time.

She was like a big sister to him and the group. She didn't say anything to Shield agents but went directly toward Arthur instead.

"I knew that you might be confused as to what is happening right now. However, please listen to me. You are a mutant with superpowers. You should come with us so we can help you." Jean said it with gentleness. She really wanted to help him.

The leader of Shield agents heard that, and he wanted to interfere. He believed mutants were too dangerous to be left unchecked.

He couldn't do anything to the mutants that were under Xavier, but he could do something about the one who was not.

"If you go with her, we will consider you to be a threat to us. You have to go with us first before anyone else." He said it with a threatening tone.

Arthur heard it, and he didn't like it.

"Are you threatening me?" Arthur felt very angry on the inside.

He felt like something burning from within himself.

The leader of the Shield agents knew that he said more than he should, but it was too late to take it back now.

He wanted to say something more, but.

"Please, for god sake, can you please shut up? Let us handle it from here. Otherwise, we will contact your director directly and demand that you be removed from anything related to us." Jean knew that something had gone wrong with Arthur.

He looked like he was ready to fight if they were to force him.

The leader of the agents clicked his tongue. He knew that he had made a mistake.

If they demand that he be removed from anything related to mutants, that would mean he was demoted, and his salary would be deducted.

"Alright, Alright. Why do you have to make things difficult for us? Have it your way, then. But I knew you would fail again." The leader smirked confidently, knowing that their record wasn't good.

Jean didn't mind him and looked at Arthur. He looked at her like he knew her.

She wanted to read his thoughts, but it was something she promised to herself that she would never do it. She tried to control it and focused on talking face-to-face instead.

"Please come with us. I and everyone else also have power just like you. Look at this." Jean demonstrated her power to him.

She thought that he would be surprised, but he just looked impressed at best.

It was like he knew about her power before, which shouldn't be possible. She never let anyone see her power except for those she trusted and new mutants that she needed to coax.

Arthur wasn't an actor, so he couldn't act well, and he knew that Jean had caught on to him.

"You know about my power?" Jean asked suspiciously at him.

She thought that he might be someone from the Brotherhood.

The Brotherhood and them were always at odds with each other.

"Nope, I don't know about your power or anyone's power but if you have to think about superpowers,. The idea of telekinesis should pop up in your mind first, right?" Arthur spoke logically. Jean couldn't help but nod.

He spoke about telekinesis, not something else. That meant he really didn't know about her power.

He just wasn't surprised because telekinesis was something that was commonly associated with superpowers.

"So what about your answer? Do you want to come with us?"

Arthur looked at the Shield agents and the X-men. He sighed and looked at the CCTV instead.

"You should have fun watching everything enough, right,Tony? All of this mess is because of you. Come and take responsibility!" Arthur chose to bring in another mess.

Tony, who watched everything from CCTV, heard Arthur calling for him.

He was startled but calmed down after Javis told him that he might have sensed him with his super sense.

"Shit that kid wants to drag me into this mess."

Tony rolled his eyes and he thought about it. He then made a decision.

"They already know that I am here anyway, so there is no point in hiding," said Tony.

Tony decided to show himself.

He got out of his car and walked toward where they were gathering.

Both Shield agents and X-men looked at him intensely.

It seemed that both groups were wary of him.

They called for a truce with each other first.

"I think we should focus on him before anything else. We must not let Tony have him."

The leader of the Shield agents spoke to Jean.

She nodded her head in agreement.

Why they were wary of Tony, was because he was the beacon of trouble.

Tony was a member of the avengers. It should be a good thing.

However, avengers wasn't under any government or any organization.

They were independent and their base was actually on the moon.

That's why no one could control them.

And the person who made the Avengers become like that was Tony himself. He refused to come to an agreement with the government.

Unlike Captain America, who initially wanted to join the government at first.

Tony had taught him a lot of things until it made him never want to join the government again.

And the next worst thing that made anyone be wary of the avengers was because the Avengers's members were not only human but aliens as well.

That's why many people thought that if they were out of control.

They could become a threat to humanity.

"Why are you all looking at me like that? I know that I am very handsome but you all should restrain yourself."

Tony smirked at everyone.

He didn't seem to care what they were thinking of him.

Arthur wanted to curse at him but he just stayed silent.

He wanted to know what he would do in this kind of situation.

"Hey kid, I didn't think we would meet again like this."

Tony spoke like it wasn't his fault that he was surrounded by the two troublesome organizations.

"Yeah, I also didn't think we would see each other again like this. Who would think that you would give me such a headache. Thanks for the big tip  though."

Arthur said sarcastically. Tony looked at him and he laughed.

"I like your sarcasm. Interested in joining me? If you're willing to join me,I'll give you a lot of money."

Tony knew Arthur was poor and needed quite a lot of money.

He chose to pick up on the issue of money, just in case Arthur might change his mind to join him.

"I'm sorry, but I'd like to pass."

Arthur didn't want his money anymore as he could see that trouble was always following him around.

He didn't even know if he could get out of this situation unscratched or not.

"Well, that's too bad. So which side are you going to take then?"

Arthur didn't think about it yet. He didn't want to join any side.

Whichever side he chooses would end up giving him a great chance of dying.

"Can't I just live my life as usual? Why do I have to choose? I am not that powerful."

Arthur asked the best question. Why did he have to choose? Why can't they just leave him be.

"That's a good question. Why don't you all give him the answer?"

Tony asked both X-men and Shield agents.

"We can't let you be because you might be a threat to normal people."

The leader of the shield agents said it with seriousness.

He couldn't let someone who had super power unsupervised.

Jean heard that and she said, cutting him off.

"Don't listen to him. You are not a threat to anyone. We will protect you. So, please come with us."

The leader of the shield agents frowned. However, he decided to stay silent as he didn't want to make a mistake.

He just waited and waited for her to fail. He looked at Tony.

He felt that the kid might choose Tony instead of everyone here.

And if he chose him then. There was nothing he could do.

'If he chose him, I have to make sure that the director knows about this.'

Arthur felt annoyed. He looked at Tony and he said with a smirk.

"Can I go with you? At least I felt safer when I think about you. However, I am not going to join you though."

At least he won't be around someone who could wipe his mind and say it was for the greater good.

And he only had three weeks left before he had to go to Stark Tower to awaken Ophis and Great Red.

Tony was expecting him to say that but he was still taken aback.

"Wow, how shameless you can be. But of course, why not."

Tony had messed up many things before. Throwing one more thing into the mix won't make much difference.

The shield agent leader gave up on bringing Arthur with them when Tony decided to involve himself with him.

There was nothing good would come out when they choose to mess with such a man.

He could make anyone's life hell.

"Let's get out of here, there is nothing we can do when he shows up."

The agent leader ordered his team and then looked at Jean with her team for one last time.

He didn't like them but even then he said good luck to her and her team as he knew that she and her team needed it.

"Hopefully, he will not mess with you and your team too much."

Tony was a big troublemaker on a global scale.

Hopefully, this time he wouldn't make a mess that needed Steve to come out and bring him back.

After saying good luck he and his team quickly left the scene.

The agent leader also contacted the director and got a withdrawal order as he expected.

When the shield agents were gone. Jean tried to persuade Arthur again.

"Please, think about it again. You shouldn't go with him."

Jean begged and it made Arthur take a look at Tony carefully.

"What have you done to them to make them like this?"

Arthur couldn't help but ask. He had watched Marvel Cinematic and read Marvel Comics. However, he didn't know which version he was in.

Tony looked at him in surprise. And not only him. Jean and her team as well.

"You don't know? Where have you been up until now? Under a rock in the corner of the world somewhere?" asked Tony.

Even though he said that it was just his personality. There was not even an ounce of sarcasm in his voice.

He was really curious about why he didn't know about it.

It also hurt his pride a little bit. And that was all.

"I was an orphan on a limited allowance, I didn't have money to buy a smartphone to have access to the internet until I graduated from high school recently." said Arthur truthfully.

That was his life even before he was transferred into this world.

"I don't even like watching TV either."

Jean heard that and she thought to herself and felt like crying.

She must have misunderstood something.

She thought he didn't even have a chance to watch TV.

Just thinking about it. His situation was worse than most of them.

At least they still have each other and families.

Arthur knew what she was thinking. However, he didn't care to fix her misunderstanding.

He could have told her that he had a chance to watch TV from the convenience store near the orphanage.

But she didn't need to know about that.

"Don't worry kid. When you come with me. Money won't be a problem anymore."

Tony said that and he ordered Javis to prepare a room for him.

Arthur noticed that and he guessed that Javis might have a physical body to follow Tony's order.

He would give him a Giant Screen TV and every game console that was in and out of the market.

"I hope so, And sorry to you guys. I will go with Tony but I will tell you that I will not join him. If you want to be friends with me then I will consider it."

Arthur didn't want to be involved with them but at this point he thought it was already too late.

Exchanging information sounded like a good idea to him now.

Jean was reluctant at first but in the end she nodded her head. This wasn't the first and last time that she was rejected.

They could not provide him with the things that Tony could give out easily.

Favoritism was something they didn't have to provide to anyone.

"I will give you our contact information. If you change your mind. You can contact us anytime."

Jean gave him her personal number. She thought that it was her duty to take care of him.

Arthur accepted the contact information. Tony whistled and teased him about getting a beauty to give him her number.

Jean didn't want to have anything to do with him. After she gave Arthur her contact.

She left with her team, leaving Arthur alone with him.

"Now that they are gone. Do you still want to come with me?"

Tony looked at Arthur.

Arthur rolled his eyes.

"Do I still have a choice?"

Tony went silent a little bit before he shook his head.

"Nope, you don't have a chance anymore. I will tell Kenny about it. You don't have to go to work there anymore."

Arthur thought about the kind owner. He couldn't help but be angry at Tony and Peter.

Because of them his life became much more complex.

'I will get as much money as I can from him before I have to drive into the dungeon.'
