Chapter 403: MJJ

Since all time-measuring devices ceased functioning within the wormhole, it was impossible to estimate the passage of normal time.

Even Roma, who had mastered temporal power to its peak, and the "Omniversal Guardian," were unable to determine the precise duration.

As a result, Earth's standard time from the Ultimate Universe 1610 couldn't be used to judge how long they had truly spent there.

It was entirely possible they had remained in the wormhole for decades or centuries—or perhaps just a fleeting moment.

Fortunately, during this period, Zane finally managed to clarify the developmental rules of the [Divine Realm].

He meticulously screened the faction members who had followed them from the Prime Universe into the Ultimate Universe 1610.

After employing methods like soul judgment to ensure their loyalty, he admitted them and their factions into the [Divine Realm].

Each faction was allocated its own unique planet.

For instance, the [Divine Realm] now housed not only the life planet of the Dwarves but also planets for the Elves, the Iron-Blood Queen, and others.

The central yellow planet, where statues of Zane and his companions were initially placed, had been transformed into the [Divine Realm's] sole star.

Fueled by an endless supply of soul energy, it emitted radiant energy beams.

Meanwhile, the accumulated soul bodies on that planet were reshaped by Zane into a massive white planet orbiting the life-bearing planets.

On its surface grew crystalline Soul Core Trees, their pure white, translucent fruits gradually ripening over the years.

These fruits would fall to the ground and reincarnate into human beings.

As for particularly unique soul entities, Zane set them apart for special treatment.

For example, Zane forcibly retrieved the soul of the "Planet Devourer" from the previous Death.

Though the Planet Devourer had been reduced to a form with only a massive round head when Zane killed him, he was inexplicably restored to a miniature humanoid version with arms and legs after being brought back to the [Divine Realm].

Unexpectedly, unlike other souls that fully submitted to Zane, this one released only its energy and fragments of memory, remaining inert.

It curled into a ball with its oversized head on top, eyes tightly shut, devoid of any energy fluctuations—like a dormant entity.

Zane had even tried to destroy it completely, but every attempt resulted in his energy vanishing the moment it entered the soul's void-like essence.

Realizing its indestructibility, Zane began suspecting that this soul would play a pivotal role in the future.

He sealed it within a separate dimensional space in the [Divine Realm].

After organizing affairs in the [Divine Realm], Zane turned his attention to Jaspers, whom he had also sealed within the illusionary dimension "Tsukuyomi."

While in the wormhole, Zane occasionally checked in on this mischievous soul.

Now, having exited the wormhole and arrived at Jaspers's homeland—Earth-1610 in the Ultimate Universe—Zane promptly released the seal and summoned Jaspers from the "Tsukuyomi" dimension.

The moment Jaspers emerged, he erupted into tears and exclaimed dramatically:

"My god! Finally, I see the light of day again!"

"Lady Death, your new subordinate is into some heavy stuff—he loves bondage!"

Hearing this, everyone turned to Zane with strange looks in their eyes.

At this moment, everyone disengaged from their combat states and returned to the spaceship, watching as Zane released Jaspers's soul body, which was wailing dramatically.

This was the first time the group had met Jaspers in person. Previously, they had only heard Zane mention him in passing and didn't pay much attention.

"You're a born drama king! Do you want me to lock you back in the 'Tsukuyomi' dimension?"

Zane's eyes glowed with red, spinning triangular shapes of the [Mangekyō Sharingan], as he coldly snorted at Jaspers, who was groveling on the ground.

"This time, I swear I won't be as 'gentle' as before."

"No, no, I wouldn't dare! I, Jaspers, will never again expose your identity in public!"

Jaspers's pale soul body knelt on one knee, clasping his hands together in a pleading gesture toward Zane.

At this moment, Roma set aside her journal and approached. She paused when she saw Jaspers, her expression stunned as she exclaimed in surprise:

"You're MJJ?"

"Wow, what a refreshing young lady…"

Hearing someone call out to him, Jaspers immediately lifted his head and saw Roma in her white robe standing before him. Without hesitation, he blurted out what was on his mind.

Then, his gaze shifted to Lorna, who was floating into the cabin, dressed in a sensual dark green robe. His eyes gleamed even brighter.

However, the moment he noticed Zane's intimate arm around Lorna and caught a glimpse of Zane's glowing red eyes, Jaspers instantly curled back into a ball on the floor, not daring to make a sound.

Zane ignored him and turned to the astonished Roma, asking, "You've seen this fool before at the Starlight Castle in the Omnipresent Domain?"

"Sort of," Roma replied, regaining her composure. "In the castle, I saw this Jaspers fellow beat the Captain Britain from this Ultimate Universe nearly to death."

Zane recalled the outrageous claims Jaspers had made in the Ghost Domain and quickly pieced it together: this so-called ultimate rival was likely this universe's Captain Britain.

Zane didn't know how powerful this universe's Captain Britain was, but he vividly remembered the one from the Prime Universe, who had nearly split a dimensional universe in half.

Based on Roma's account, the Captain Britain wielding the Sword in the Stone was at least multiversal-level in strength.

Now the question was whether this universe's Captain Britain also possessed the Sword in the Stone.

Regardless, considering Jaspers could easily overpower him, it seemed there was some truth to the boasts he'd made earlier.

Just then, Jaspers, who had been lying on the ground, sprang up the moment he heard the two discussing him.

Although he couldn't fully understand what Zane and Roma were saying, he was certain they were singing his praises.

Instantly reinvigorated, he performed a deeply ingrained cultural bow, then extended a hand toward Roma with a genuine smile.

"Charming and beautiful lady, since you seem so interested in me, Jaspers, may I have the honor of a dance?"

As soon as Jaspers finished speaking, the spaceship inexplicably filled with the sound of a soulful jazz tune.

Rocket and the others exchanged bewildered glances, surprised to discover that this seemingly unserious soul body had such an ability.

Zane, however, felt a subtle sense of unease. Unlike the others, he knew exactly what had caused this strange phenomenon.

This spaceship was one Zane had personally selected from the Watchers Domain.
