Chapter 156: Chapter 156: None of My Business

Sebastian, the butler and driver, said, "It's not because the destination is close, but because we're driving this car. It's fast, which is why we could arrive in under five minutes."

Hearing this, Loki rolled his eyes and glanced out the window, saying, "Ahem, the weather is really nice today."

Outside the car window, the sky was a deep crimson—hardly a "nice" day.

Han Yu shook his head helplessly, ignoring Loki's clumsy attempt to change the subject. Instead, he turned to look out the other window and suddenly froze.

"Why does it feel like I'm looking at a replica of Asgard's sanctuary?"

In front of them stood a towering structure, resembling Asgard's iconic cylindrical architecture, rising tier by tier. However, this building featured numerous sharp spires and lacked Asgard's golden hues, favoring a deep green instead. It exuded a distinct personal style.

"Hela seems to still care about Asgard. Otherwise, she wouldn't design her buildings like this," Loki remarked. This style of Asgardian main hall was something he had never seen before.

Han Yu and the others, including Mephisto, all nodded in agreement. After all, Hela had been exiled to this place, yet her dwelling still mirrored Asgard's main hall. It was a clear testament to her deep feelings for her homeland.

Han Yu gazed at the massive structure, raising an eyebrow as he spoke slowly, "She wasn't exiled here because she did something unforgivable to Asgard. On the contrary, what she wanted to do was make Asgard even stronger. But her methods inflicted too much harm on other races in the universe. Otherwise, Odin wouldn't have chosen to exile her here instead of executing her outright."

These words left everyone sighing. The best way to govern a nation is to temper strength with benevolence. Constant warfare only brings suffering to the people.

"Alright, I'll wait in the car. I'm not going in," Johnny said suddenly. From his expression, it seemed he was genuinely afraid of Hela.

"What's wrong with you?" Han Yu asked. "We're already at the door, and now you're chickening out?"

Johnny turned his head away, refusing to meet Han Yu's eyes. "That she-devil is terrifying. She's always after my Hellfire. In her eyes, I'm just a walking power source. I don't want to see her."

Mephisto nodded in agreement. That was indeed the case.

He'd even said before that if Hela asked, he'd willingly offer her Hellfire in abundance. But she refused. She preferred taking it from others.

Johnny couldn't defeat her in a fight either. Even with only a third of her original power, Hela was still at the level of an ordinary god. She could easily punch with tens of tons of force, making it an effortless task.

Johnny also understood Hela's identity—Odin's eldest daughter. Who would dare engage in a real fight with her? Angering Odin could mean even Mephisto wouldn't be able to protect Johnny.

Odin's conquest of the Nine Realms wasn't achieved because of Asgard but rather because he unified the Nine Realms through his campaigns, earning Asgard its legendary reputation.

"Let's go. I can't wait any longer," Loki said, stepping out of the car first. Ever since learning about this sister, he had been suppressing his curiosity.

Thor had once asked Odin about the position of Executor, and Odin had always said it was already filled. Yet, whenever Thor or Loki asked who held the position, Odin never answered, leaving them perplexed.

Now, Loki finally understood what Odin meant back then. Though he had exiled Hela, he still regarded her as his Executor. The position had always been hers, and Odin had only been waiting for his daughter to let go of her thirst for blood.

Everyone got out of the car. As they approached the grand hall's entrance, they had yet to open the doors when a sharp voice filled with restrained anger echoed from all directions.

"Mephisto, I Told You to Stay 100 Miles Away"

"Mephisto, I've told you not to set foot within a hundred miles of my territory. Are you so bored you're looking for a fight?"

Her words were anything but polite, and the fact that she directed them at Mephisto made the surrounding imps scatter in fear. They knew well enough—if Mephisto didn't leave now, Hela wouldn't hesitate to come out and beat him to a pulp.

Although Hela couldn't currently defeat Mephisto, her fiery temper was unaffected by that reality.

Han Yu remained silent, standing still and staring at Mephisto. The latter, startled, quickly blurted out, "Come on, buddy, why aren't you saying anything? I'm here with you!"

Mephisto was clearly uneasy. Han Yu had come to meet Hela, and while the outcome of that meeting was uncertain, it was clear that he was here on behalf of Asgard. That essentially placed him in Hela's corner.

Mephisto couldn't afford to make a move against Hela—not without risking Han Yu's wrath. And given Han Yu's power, Mephisto didn't like his odds.

Indeed, Han Yu's Immortal God Seal alone placed him at a godly rank equal to, if not greater than, a Father God. Coupled with his arsenal, including the Hyōrinmaru and the Haotian Hammer, Han Yu was undeniably one of the top-tier powerhouses among Father God-level beings.

Before long, a sharp sonic boom echoed from the base of the building. The group looked up just in time to see a woman wielding two long swords, charging straight toward them.

The woman wore a skintight outfit of dark green and black leather, accentuating her striking figure. Her dark eye makeup around her sockets gave her an ominous, almost menacing allure.

In just a few moments, she arrived before the group. Seeing the unexpected number of people present, Hela's face darkened as she said coldly, "What's this, Mephisto? Have you finally given in to your disgusting nature and decided to bring reinforcements to force your way in?"

Mephisto felt a twinge of embarrassment. He was the Lord of Hell, a great demon, yet here he was, being painted as a shameless scoundrel by Hela. Forcing an awkward smile, he replied, "This has nothing to do with me this time. He's the one looking for you."

As he spoke, Mephisto gestured toward Han Yu and quickly stepped aside, signaling that this was none of his business. If a fight broke out, he wanted no part of it.

His behavior left Han Yu both amused and exasperated. You're supposed to be the King of Hell, for crying out loud! Do you really have to act this submissive?

What Han Yu didn't realize was that Mephisto was caught between a rock and a hard place. If he fought Hela, he risked angering Han Yu. If he didn't fight, he had to endure Hela's sharp tongue. Either way, it was a lose-lose situation.

So, Mephisto wisely decided to adopt a "not my problem" stance. Standing to the side, he maintained a neutral expression, deep in thought about who-knows-what.

"You're here for me? Who are you?"

Hela frowned, her gaze fixed on Han Yu. She had never seen him before—neither in Asgard nor in Hell. For him to arrive with Mephisto, he must be someone of significance.

"Greetings," Han Yu said with a calm smile. "Allow me to introduce myself. My name is Han Yu, and I'm here to bring you back to Asgard."
