Magic swordsman of Orario

Arthur was panting heavily. Seeing his condition Riveria and Ais approached him.

"Arthur! Are you okay?" They asked Arthur, worry was evident in their eyes.

"I'm all right. It's just that sword sucked my entire magic out of my body!" Arthur was feeling sluggish. He didn't think using the Excalibur will lead in to this situation.

"Riveria, give me a basic magic restoration potion from my bag. It's light blue in colour, and Ais, please collect the drops and magic stones in my behalf." Arthur requested his companions.

"Arthur, take a rest. You just damaged the walls of the dungeon. Untill the walls heals itself, there won't be any new monster spawning anytime soon." Riveria said reassureing Arthur.

Arthur took a sigh of relief as he drink the magic restoration potion.

Ais come back shortly after carrying his bag filled with magic stones and goblin's fang. She also didn't collect the stone daggers dropped by goblins because they are worthless and don't have any value.

Riveria was shocked, not because the number of magic stones but becauss of the number of goblin's fang.

Upon counting there were total 97 magic stones inside the bag but there were also 81 goblin's fang.

Seeing the drop items Arthur smiled and said, "well, the drops are not the same as magic stones but it's acceptable."

Riveria was shocked and shouted " Acceptable you say?! This is totally abnormal! The spawn of goblin in the first floor is very low, there were hardly 10 goblin spawn in an hour other times unlike today, the goblins were spawned one after another. The goblin's fang is called a rare drop because every 100 goblin you kill there is only 1% chance to get a goblin's fang! And you! You got 81 fangs out of 97 goblins you killed. Damn it!! "

Riveria was huffing with anger and shock while Arthur tried to slowly digest the information.

"Then I'm very lucky right?" Arthur asked teasing Riveria.

"Lucky? You are the incarnation of disaster. If it wasn't for having Excalibur, or we were not following, you would be dead. DEAD!" Riveria snapped again.

While thinking about it Arthur tought it makes sense. This overwhelming luck may grant him not only fortunes but also misfortunes.

"Arthur you are not allowed to adventure alone from now onwards." Ais suddenly said feeling the gravity of the situation.

Riveria also nodded her head feeling Ais's words make sense, having herself or Ais alawys accompany Arthur can ensure his safety inside dungeon. After all they have the taste of Arthur's incredible luck which leads to overwhelming misfortunes.

After approximately 15 minutes, the dungeon walls are now healed and there would monsters spawn again.

Arthur also have rested up enough. Due to drinking magic regeneration potion, his magical reserves also filled up quickly.

Then the same process of slaughter begin and now Arthur even stopped using his swords and using his fists and legs to deal with the goblins.

While he got some light injuries, but after casting the light element based spell [Heal], he was again back as new.

Ais and Riveria watched that as long as Arthur battle with the goblins, he read their movement patterns. Then using his combat judgement, he easily deal with them.

Till now he have already slain over 250 goblins, and the count still going up.

When the goblins come single or a pair he used his bare hands to deal with them honing his hand to hand combat.

When the goblins come less than 10 but above 3, he used swords to slay them effortlessly, honing his swordsmanship.

When the goblins come avobe a dozen, he used his storage magic effortlessly trimming down the number below a dozen then kill them using his swords.

Arthur was growing at a tremendous pace, which could shocked everyone.

Crack~

Suddenly at this moment, a crisp sound rang out.

Arthur looked up, and a goblin had emerged from the dungeon ceiling.

However, unlike the previous goblins, this one was entirely black, and compared to the frail goblins, it appeared exceptionally robust, reaching a height of almost 1.7 meters.

"What is this? A black goblin after a monster feast at first floor, how is this possible! " Riveria was freaking out because of anomalies which were happening one after another.

Goblins were among the weakest monsters in the dungeon, easily defeated by any adventurer.

However, the black goblin was different. It was a variant of the regular goblin, possessing strength far beyond a typical goblin and considered upper-mid tier among level 1 monsters.

*ROARRRR*

Roaring the black goblin, wielding a wooden club, swiftly attacked Arthur.

Upon seeing this Arthur smiled, he didn't took out his Excalibur as he thought that this monster or this situation is not worthy of Excalibur.

Arthur used his storage to shoot out both of the swords.

Ping~ Pang~ stab~ pang~

The black goblin swing his wooden club to deflected most of the attacks through storage magic.

"Intresting. So this is an elite monster, it actually possesses intelligence!" Arthur was surprised.

Riveria frowned, watching the black goblin with puzzled expression, while Ais was ready to jump at the battle anytime seeing Arthur have no intention of using Excalibur during his confrontation.

"Although the black goblin was a variant monster, it was still just a level 1 monster. How could it possess such intelligence? This is highly abnormal." Riveria mutterd under her breath.

Soon the black goblin reached Arthur, and attacked his head with his wooden club.

If it hit, it would undoubtedly cause severe injury if not, Death!.

"Just a stronger goblin, don't overestimate yourself." Arthur growled.

Clang~

The wooden club clashed with the long sword, the powerful force surprised Arthur. After all he was just a newly blessed rookie adventurer.

While Arthur make some distance with the goblin then attacked the goblin with the swords using storage magic.

Two swords pierced the black goblin through back from left and right.

*ROARRR*

The black goblin let out a miserable roar but immediately Arthur put the swords in his storage and summon them in his both hands.

At this moment, Arthur wore a smile, looking at the black goblin in front of him and said softly. "Goodbye"

Then he stopped the club with a sword then cut of its head, sent it flying up in the air.

Then it turned into black mist and leaving behind a slightly big magic stone along with it's wooden club.

"So that's it?" Arthur said.

"What do you mean by that's it? Do you know if a normal rookie met a black goblin on his first day alone inside of the dungeon, that will be his demise. You are just powerful enough to take on that monster." Riveria said with a irritated voice.

"Then let's continue." Arthur walked on to find more goblins.

After four hours of slaughter, he said "let's take a break and fill our stomachs."

Riveria then lead them to a dead end on first floor, then cast her barrier magic, enveloping three of them.

Arthur took a big piece of cloth and place it on the floor, then he placed the lunchboxes from storage and placed them on top of the cloth.

Arthur also took out two servings of karaage and three bottles of mineral water and then they start eating their meal.

"The lunchboxes are still warm. Your storage magic is really incredible Arthur. Normally while adventuring other than safe point we basically eat buns or jerkey to fill our stomach. But now, we can enjoy hot and delicious food while adventuring." Ais said cheerfully as she savored the noodles dish which was packed inside the lunchbox.

Riveria took the bottle and started to observe it " This water bottle, it's a very high class item. I've never seen this type of bottle in my life. This is not glass made I'm sure about it. Arthur, where did you get your hands on these kind of bottle?"

Arthur said " This kind of bottles are common where I come from. No need to feel reserved."

Ais said while holding a karaage in her hand " What is this food item?"

"It's called karaage. It is made of chicken meat. Squashed with potato starch, which gives this crunchy upper layer as you can see. Give it a try ladies." I said to them while smiling.

When they bit the Karaage, the crunchy and juicy flavor filled their mouth as their eyes shot opened.

"It's taste really good. This is the first time I've eaten this kind of dish. The taste and the crunchiness crave you to eat more." Riveria give her honest review as a food critic.

On the other hand Ais just enjoyed her food.

After finishing their food, they continued their adventure for two more hours then they returned to the surface.
