Magic swordsman of Orario

The underground dungeon had appeared in this world at some unknown time.

Within the dungeon, the environment was complex and ever changing, with monsters continusly spawning.

The deeper the layers, the more terrifying and unpredictable the monsters became.

Orario was established for the purpose of suppressing the underground dungeon.

The emergence of adventures was also a means the gods used to combat the dungeon.

The entrance to Orario's underground dungeon was the center of the entire city and the most iconic structure, the Tower of Babel.

The lowermost level of the Tower of Babel was the guild medical area where ingured adventures were treated.

The middle levels of Tower of Babel was the commercial area, where many commercial Familia sold top-notch goods.

The most famous was the Hephaestus Familia, many shops in the Tower of Babel belong to the Hephaestus Familia, and a large number of top-tier equipment in Orario was sold here.

As for the upper levels of Tower of Babel, that was the residence of the Gods and Goddesses.

The Goddess of beauty, Freya resided at the topmost floor of the Tower of Babel.

Upon reaching the Tower of Babel, led by Ais and Riveria, Arthur entered the entrance of the underground dungeon.

Then showing their registered adventurers card to the guards at the entrance, they entered the staircase.

After descending layer by layer of stairs, Arthur finally stepped into the underground dungeon, even if it was only the First floor.

The underground dungeon, in terms of it's underground structure, was similar to a pyramid. The further down, the wider and more troublesome it became.

The top layer was like a beginner's village of RPG games, and the more deeper you went, the more dangerous it it became.

" Arthur, now we are at the first floor of the dungeon. The monsters spawned here are goblins. They looks like a 5 year old children with ugly appearance. They sometimes weild a stone knife. With your strength, it's easy to defeat them. Now let's start your first adventute." Riveria said the basic things about first floor dungeon monster.

Step~ Step~ Step ~

Stepping into the first floor, Arthur began his adventure.

Riveria and Ais was now at a distance from Arthur. Although they came with him, they didn't want to interfere much with his adventure.

Moreover, this was an excellent opportunity for them to observe Arthur, how much of his training works in actual combat situations.

Of course, if there was any danger, they would naturally intervene. After all, Arthur's value didn't allow him to perish prematurely, not for the Familia, not for themselves.

Suddenly, a crack appeared in the wall of the dungeon, and a monster crawled out of it.

All dungeon monsters were generated by the dungeon itself, endless in number.

This particular monster had dark green skin, a short and squat figure, and crimson eyes.

A goblin, a representative of countless games, anime and novels. The mascot of cannon fodder along with slimes, and unbeaten for many years and years to come.

Arthur didnt waste any time and run to engage in battle. He took a sword in his right hand, then used sidestep to avoid the goblin's attck while sliced the goblin's neck from it's torso.

The lifeless small body of goblin fell to the ground, turning directly into a black mist, then it disappear leaving behind a tiny magic stone, along with a two inch long spikey tooth.

" I have to say Arthur, your luck is very good. The first monster you slay deopped a rare ingidient." Ais said from behind seeing the drop item 'Goblin's Fang'.

Riveria said in approval " Yes. Just one magic stone like this could be exchanged for 100 valis in guild exchange counter, and that fang was a rare material for making spikey weaponry. This one fang could be exchanged for 1,000 valis at guild exchange counter."

Arthur was surprised and picked up the magic stone and the fang then he put the magic stone and goblin's fang in his bag, his eyes were gleaming.

In just one slash he earned 1,100 valis!

Now while slaying monsters and becoming strongest, he can also become rich. What a win-win deal.

Crack~ Click~ Crack~ Click~

From the nearby walls of the dungeon, goblins climbed out one after another. There were about dozen of them.

Ais wanted to step in and help reduce the number of goblins to three or four but Riveria held her back while saying " Believe in him."

Ais nodded and stood there, hoping that Arthur could deal with the goblins without any injury.

Arthur become serious seeing the number of goblins and draw another sword in his left hand and fall back near Ais as an insurance, then again engage with the goblins.

Seeing that he feel back near them Riveria nodded her head approvingly this means he knows the merit of team battle, and asking for help in overwhelmed situations.

First Arthur dodged the goblins at left side and attacked the four goblins at right side while slashing them apart, then he punctured the two goblins throat at the back.

Upon seeing their companions die one by one, the goblins got furious and attacked Arthur all together.

Arthur, while dodging cut off the legs of the front most goblin while stabbed the later two in their skull with his swords, then he use both swords to parry the stone dagger attack of the next goblins.

Then Arthur use both swords to slash the later three, their heads went flying up high.

Then Arthur use his leg to stomp on the goblin's head which was still struggling because his legs were cut off previously, while putting him out of his misery.

The dead goblins turned into black mist and leaveing behind twelve magic stones and twelve goblin's fang.

A dozen goblins themselves weren't formidable. Any adventurer with courage could easily defeat them.

Observing Arthur easily deal with a dozen goblins, Riveria nodded slightly. At the same time, she could be sure that Arthur have soaked the basic fighting style from Alicia like a sponge and using this very appropiately.

This skillful approach while observing the enemy's movements, then finding the easiest and fastest way to deal with the enemy. This also enhanced Arthur's value. In not-too-distant future, Arthur will become the core of the Loki Familia.

Then more than dozen goblins came out the walls this time.

Arthur put the swords inside his storage, then a ripple appeared in the middle of the battlefield and he started to shoot the swords out from the storage like an arrow.

Although the goblins were swinging their claws and stone daggers to tear Arthur into pieces, but they died being stabbed in the skull midway.

After killing the first two, Arthur again put the swords inside his storage and again stabbed two goblins.

This process continues until all the goblins were killed. They can't even approach Arthur, died in midway. While Arthur stood motionless in one place.

This display of using magic convinienly, really shocked Riveria. She couldn't even imagine the storage magic could be used this way.

While Arthur was collecting the drops and magic stones, cracks sounded in not so distant wall.

Crack~ Crack~

Countless goblins are come out of the walls and several more from the depths. These goblins are about to surround Arthur. Their sheer numbers was astonishing.

Even Riveria and Ais was shocked seeing the number of goblins coming from the depth of first floor. They thought it's really rate to see a monster feast at first floor.

When Ais was about to step in, Arthur made his move.

He put out his dual swords at the back of his scabbard then took out Excalibur from storage.

Seeing Excalibur out Ais and Riveria halted their movements.

He took his stance while holding the sword up high from his right shoulder.

Then Arthur waited for the goblins to come closer then he made his move.

Arthur shouted "EX... CALIBURRR!" While swinging his sword.

A magical golden aura blade come out of the sword and slice appart each and every goblin on it's path while damageing the walls of the dungeon.
