Loosing you

She then came to sit with me and out of a sudden asked me where I was the entire weekend, I mean, she never called or texted me so I don't know what she meant. I told her I was at my place but she said that wasn't the truth, turns out she wanted to give me a surprise visit but she didn't find me there simply because I was at Naomi's place.

I'm not a secret keeper especially if that person is my best friend so I told her that I met someone, and that person wanted me to stay with them so I did, she wasn't as dramatic as I thought she would be, she just told me that she was concerned thinking I was chased out of my place due to rents but that wasn't the case. She didn't even ask me who the person was but that's just because we just met and I don't want to be talking about things I'm sure of yet so yah, that was just it.

We stayed there for a while and that's when I got a call from Naomi, she asked me what I wanted to eat and I told her that I was craving some pap and beef stew ,my favourite. I only ate it when I went home. She told me that she would tell her maid to make it for me and then asked me if I wanted her to pick me up, not really her, she was going to sent her manager to come pick me up so I said no, I was gonna Uber so that's fine. After the call I told Becky that I had to leave, so I gave her a hug and I went outside where I requested for an Uber ,it only took like two minutes for it to arrive and after arriving I went back to Naomi's place. It was already late by the time I arrived and I found her still reading her script.

I bet she really wanted to nail that role she was going to audition for. I went to greet her and we sat down for a while and that's when I told her that I got a job, she was very happy to hear that. She told me that she would drive me to work everyday and I wasn't allowed to refuse. So yah, that's just how it was. Starting from that day, our relationship began to bloom even though it didn't have a status yet, every morning she would wake up at the same time as me and we would get ready at the same time, have breakfast and then she would drive me to work before going to the set. I didn't really have a hard time at work, it was very fun, everyone was very friendly and they loved gossiping.

Every morning there was fresh news and there was this thing they loved the most, picking the hottest actress of the week. Becky used to talk about it and she always told me that Naomi deserved it but who was I to comment, even though we were together now I still believed that she was fine with what she had. Even though I wished her more success I just thought it was too early for that, I mean, I know she wanted to get the main role for the new series that was coming out, it wasn't for straight couples though, the main leads were two lesbians and she told me that she wanted the role hence she worked hard to prepare for that audition since she couldn't get any of those she wanted.

But for now she was still concluding the shooting of the series she stared in, the one I once went to an event with Becky. And before I forget, I heard her talking to her manager about the last event she had to attend, it was tomorrow if I'm not mistaken, it was the last event before the last episode was aired and I was surely going even though we had to keep things low-key. I didn't want to be the next hot topic, I wasn't even hot at all. So, about my work, I actually spend most of my time on my computer doing nothing, just writing those articles and looking for inspirations o some sort, it wasn't a huge deal. It was getting near my time to knock off, and as I was busy killing my fingers by typing I got a call from Becky, she didn't even let me speak, " Tomorrow you are coming with me to see Naomi, they are having an event for the last time, don't worry I've got the tickets covered, you are coming with me, your relationship will have to wait, tell your girlfriend to come too if she doesn't mind".

Yep, that's what she said,I believe she even forgot to breathe, I mean, I didn't even get the chance to talk, she just spoke and ended the call,so I wrote her a text and told her I'll meet her at the event, she didn't have to pick me up anymore, well, I was going with my girlfriend so yah, that's just it. After work my sweetheart pulled over and we both went to this one restaurant, it was about an hour drive from our place but it didn't matter. It's the only place we were able to just hang out without her having to wear a mask or something, I mean she did because we didn't want any scandals even though I doubted that there would ever be one.

After arriving at the restaurant we had something to eat and as we were done we went back home. And there I found her stylists already there along with her makeup artist. It seemed like they were going to spend the night there because the event was tomorrow. I went straight to the bathroom to take a shower since she was busy talking to her. After I was done I went straight to bed. And as the morning arrived I woke up to find our room overcrowded, there were like six people inside getting one person dressed which amused me. I went to the bathroom and there I got ready and wore my usual clothes, oh and by the way, I bought these two couple rings from the ring shop the other day, I believe they were made of gold or something. My salary wouldn't afford diamond ones, not now.

I planned to give babe one after she was done getting ready, trust me she would look pretty with it on. By the time I was done getting ready in the bathroom I found her looking at herself in the mirror and I surprised her with a back hug. Not really a surprise, she saw me coming. I just loved the way she was dressed, it was a black mermaid dress, and it showed too much cleavage I don't know why. Even though she was now officially my girlfriend I didn't feel like I had the right to stop her from wearing what she wanted. She looked very pretty that I didn't think we would make it to the event. I turned her around and placed the ring on her right middle finger and told her it was the finishing part to her pretty dress.

It didn't need to be on the ring finger since it wasn't an engagement ring so yah. And if it was on the ring finger it would be very suspicious don't you think.And yah, we kissed for like ten minutes straight, I didn't want to stop, I was already getting hot but I had to control myself, I was the one whom was going to get her out of the dress when we came back so yah, patience is all I needed. Before we knew it there was a knock on the door and that was none other than her manager so we both heeded to leave.
