Max and his crew walked out of the portal once again they were in an alleyway he guessed that his adult counterpart set for every portal location to open in alleyways honestly it's better then just coming from the streets and who knows a car trying to kill us.

Peter: wow that felt weird it was like my body was being rearranged.

Squigly: I actually didn't feel it.

Moline: I'm just glad that I'm puking my guts out again.

Max: well enough of that let's head to higher ground and see where we are then we can will figure out what to do.

The group got on to the rooftops and when they saw the area they realized that this was Japan of course squigly didn't know what Japan was so they had to explain it to her.

Squigly: so there are others countries in separate islands.

Max: yeah I forgot that your world has 3 countries in one.

Peter: well that aside why are we in Japan I was expecting some like bizzaro world or something but this is kinda of a let down.

Sonia: so what do we do we can't exactly stay in the rooftops forever.

Max: let's just find some place to settle and we will see what we can do we are lucky that I packed up some things.

Sonia: please tell me you bought portable futons.

Max: only two that if I knew that you were coming with me I would have bought two more.

Squigly: so we are gonna have to sleep together.

All of them were uncomfortable with that thought but it couldn't be done.

Squigly: actually were is the backpacks?

Max: I had moline store it in her stomach.

Squigly and leviathan looked at max like he lost his mind

Leviathan: you had her eat it why?

Moline: I have a second stomach that is a pocket dimension when I eat objects and it doesn't cause me trouble.

After that was over the group management to find an abandoned house it had broken windows and rusted walls and furniture but it wasn't too damaged if they took time it possible to repair it but there was a problem.

Peter: what the hell are those?

In front of them were 3 creatures that looked grotesque they looked like lost souls but the air around the creatures have a negative aura and unlike lost souls these things are more uglier.

Sonia: looks like we have to clear the pests.

One of those creatures tried to attack Sonia but she just swung her kanabo with spiritual energy behind it and the creature exploded in purple blood.

While Peter summoned his daggers and he cut down them down with ease.

Of course max and Squigly joined in on the action.

When they were done house was free from all of those creatures and it was getting late.

Sonia:great now that we are free from whatever those things were we can claim this place as a temporary home right.

Max: yeah but we might want to repair the place a little I don't want the roof to fall on us.

Squigly: should we buy something stuff to repair it?

Max looked around and nodded slowly.

Max: well the place doesn't look like it was abandoned for decades maybe like a few months so yeah I think we can fix this place.

Sonia: great that will save us the trouble.

The crew got to making the place a bit more stable and when they finished with little but not bad progress they went to sleep.

To settle the futon problem they agree that max and Peter will sleep on one of them and Sonia and squigly will share one.

It would be awkward if one guy and one girl sleep together so they decided to sleep via gender it was awarded as all hell but they endured it.

The next day they woke up and they got to work on fixing the house time passed and they took a break.

Max decided to go on a stroll of Japan he has never been in another country but Japan was famous for anime's and all others type of media.

He looked at a school and he saw a scene that he didn't like 3 guys and 1 girl who were bullying a boy with one part of his hair covering his eye.

He saw that the boy with the covered eye was saying something and one of the bullies was about to hit him and max wasn't going to stand up to this bullshit.

He wasn't a person that believed in things like justice but he isn't the kind of person to just sit by while someone like this boy gets bullied.

My name is jumpei yoshino I'm just a normal high school student.

Well I'm not sure if that's true I'm more of a punching bag than a student.

Tsubasa: hey guys this creep was looking at my boobs.

The boy known as jumpei was currently being bullied by 3 guys and a popular girl named tsubasa she is a popular girl in his school and she like to show her status.

One time during class jumpei just so happened to look at her and she decided that it was a good idea to get some idiots to beat him up.

Junpei:(if I had a bottom that kills whoever I hate I probably wouldn't push it however if it was one that killed of anyone that hated me die…..I wouldn't hesitate)

Bully 1: so you were looking at her boobs.

Junpei: I wasn't I-

He was cut off when the bully kicked him.

Bully 2: oh so you are tsubasa is lying to us?

Tsubasa: he was definitely looking.

Junpei glanced at one of the windows and he saw an overweight teacher looking at the scene but instead of helping he just walked away.

He turned his eyes to tsubasa who was looking at him with a smug smile but one the bullies thought that he was looking at her boobs and got in the way of his vision.

Bully 1: so you were looking at her boobs.

Junpei received another kick in the arm and this time junpei had enough and glared at each of them.

Junpei:(I'll tell her I'll tell her I'll tell her I'll tell her!!)

Junpei: you aren't as hot as you think tsubasa these idiots know that they just want an opportunity to let them bang you!

One the bully was about to hit him in the face and junpei closed his eyes and wait for the pain….but I didn't came.

Junpei opened his eyes to see someone his age holding the bully by his hand with an iron grip junpei could tell that he wasn't a student because he was wearing a black jacket.

Max: you know I hate people who think they can get away with anything just because they think they are in the center of the world and seeing you assholes bullying someone who did nothing to you it just pisses me off.

The 2 bullies and tsubasa saw the glare on max's face and they feel like the fear of death was on there heads.

Max threw the bully in his grip on the ground but the dumbass got up and tried to punch him but max redirected to punch and he kneed him in the stomach hard enough to make him throw up his lunch.

The other bullies tried to get the jump on him now that he had his back turned but max could sense them and grabbed them by the face and pushed them into ground knocking them out.

Max then turned his attention to tsubasa who was scared out of her mind.

Max: your lucky that I respect women so if I were you I would get the hell out of my sight.

With that threat tsubasa ran away to report him to the teacher but max didn't care he turned to junpei who was startled by being in eye contact with his savior.

He walked up and took a crouch to stay at eye level with junpei.

Max: I would ask if you are okay but that is a stupid question but did you suffer any severe injuries.

Junpei: n no it's just bruises.

Max: well either way-mmm?

Max noticed that there was a thick layer of energy surrounding this guy it felt just like those creatures back at the house.

Junpei was weirded out by being looked at like he was an animal.

Junpei: what?

Max snapped out of his thoughts and looked at the boy with worry.

Max: sorry I zoned out here.

Max extended his hand and touched junpei? Shoulder and junpei felt a warm feeling in his body he felt the injuries disappear and he felt better.

Junpei: what was that?

Just gave a smug smile but unlike tsubasa's his was more of a harmless fun type of smile

Max: magic.

Junpei wasn't sure if this guy was hiding something or something else but whatever it was he was curious about this.

Junpei: hey can I-

Teacher: over there!!

Max and junpei heard a teacher's voice and max had to scram out.

Junpei got up and tried to stop him but he was too fast.

He was questioned by the teachers and when junpei said that he didn't know who he was he was let go and he was left alone for the whole day of school.

After school he went to his house and his mother magi yoshino was in there cooking dinner.

Nagi: welcome back junpei how was school?

Junpei: it was kinda good I guess.

Nagi: that is a first you usually don't say anything about the school what happened?

Junpei: I meet someone who helped me out.

Nagi: oh a special girl huh?

Junpei: mom! It's a guy not a girl!

Nagi: oh well that kinda sucks you know him?

Junpei: no he just helped and left but I think he is a foreigner he didn't look Japanese.

Nagi: well if you see him tell him to come over he sounds like a nice guy.

Junpei: sure(if I ever see him again)

After him and his mom had dinner junpei got into his room and on his computer to look at some scenes from his favorite series human earth worm this movie series has been going on for 3 movies and he didn't get a chance to watch the third one.

Tomorrow he plans on skipping school and go to the movie theater to see the third movie on the big screen.

But that guy who helped him was still in his head junpei expected bad things from people he grew up with that idea while he was growing up but that guy he just helped and did some weird thing to heal him.

Was it magic? Or some sort of mutation ability whatever it was if he meet that guy again he will have a lot of questions to ask him.

Max was thinking about that guy that he saved he saw that strange energy that the same type those creatures had but one thing that he picked up was that had negative vibes and he seemed unaware on that energy if max meet him again he will have to do some research on this new type of energy.
