Level Up: Voidwalker

Atlas's head was spinning as he climbed to his feet only to hear Theo's rage-filled screeches echoing out. He came to just in time to block a Nightowls lunge, as he raised his swords sparks flew.

Without wasting time he cast Void Wave that knocked the enemies back as he started countering their attacks. Following that, he opened a portal and summoned dozens of Savage Void Bears.

The monsters rushed out and started ganging up on the Nightowls who were caught unaware by them. Altas chuckled at their reactions before bringing forth a dozen Void World Eaters.

When Athas saw this his azure eyes lit up with excitement as his beasts were overwhelming the attackers causing him to think before he started to run, 'Let's see them hold up against these nightmares.'

He watched as the dinosaur-like monsters pounced on scared soldiers as the bears rampaged around the square. While the battle erupted he was rushing through the city after sending Theo back to the Otherworld.

'I'll use the creatures to escape or they will capture me,' he thought while using Void Guard to deflect several incoming spells.

Atlas started sprinting through the city's narrow streets, his boots pounding against the cobblestones. The sounds of battle rang out behind him, archers releasing volleys, crossbows snapping, and the hum of magic in the air.

He weaved through the chaos, his movements a blur as he dodged each attack with skill as an arrow whizzed past his ear, and he twisted to the side, narrowly avoiding a bolt that crashed into a nearby wall.

'That was close!' Atlas thought as a mage's spell erupted at his feet, but he leaped over it just in time, his body flowing like water.

Behind him, an explosion shattered a building, but Atlas was already beyond it, his focus unbroken. The soldiers of the empire were relentless, but they were slow in comparison to his speed.

He vaulted over a barricade, ducked under a swinging sword, and with a single motion, grabbed a guard by the collar, throwing him into the path of an incoming fireball. As Atlas charged forward, the Nightowls and imperial soldiers scrambled to halt his advance.

Undeterred, he raised a hand, summoning a few Terrasques. The beast's giant forms crushing barricades and tearing through the enemy lines with relentless fury. Blockades crumbled, leaving chaos in their wake as Atlas continued his escape from Moonlit City.

He was closing in on one of the gates and as he reached the top Raymond the stormeagle's voice sounded in his mind. 'Summon me, Master! I will show the empire what it means to cross you!'

Atlas waved his hand, and in an instant, a massive bird burst forth like a bullet, its feathers gleaming with an otherworldly light. With a deafening screech that echoed across the battlefield, the creature dove into the Achaemenidian lines.

Its talons, as large as carriages, tore through ranks of soldiers, scattering them like leaves in a storm. Chaos erupted as the bird's relentless assault left the empire reeling from the attack before Raymond swung around and picked him up.

Following that, a swarm of wyverns and smaller eagles appeared on the horizon causing his eyes to widen, 'Fuck, they have reinforcements!'

Atlas pointed his blades at the incoming enemies before casting a Void Bomb that sliced through the air. The azure blue projectile slammed into the lead wyvern causing an explosion to erupt.

The sky shook with force causing some of the monsters to plunge toward the burning city and start crashing into the buildings. Afterward, Raymond sped up and zoomed through the air as the survivors chased after them.

He turned back, his eyes glowing with focused intent, and began firing Void Bullets into the enemy ranks. Each shot erupted in an explosion, sending shockwaves through the air and ripping the eagles apart in mid-flight.

The battlefield was consumed in a cascade of destruction. Atlas couldn't help but cheer as he saw his massive bird surge ahead, carving a path through the chaos and getting further ahead of the advancing enemy horde.

Following that, Raymond sped up and created a sonic boom that echoed the landscape as they flew south. Every time one of the Achaemenidian Eagles got close Atlas used Void Lance that destroyed the monsters.

He watched as the enemies plummeted toward the ground causing chaos below. While this happened they managed to get away from the swarm as they flew south. An hour later the Stormeagle landed on a mountain peak to rest.

Altas slipped off the monster's back and landed with a thud before sending Raymond back to the Otherworld. Seconds later, a portal opened and the women stepped through with big smiles.

The blonde knight Estelle appeared and wrapped him in a tight hug before placing a love-filled kiss against his forehead. He smiled as the others did the same before he pulled out the tent and set it up.

While doing that Amethyst commented with a confused expression, ''Why not stay in the Otherworld?''

''I love camping my love, I didn't know it until recently but I find it peaceful,'' Atlas replied before standing up. ''There we go, we can rest for the night before deciding where to go next.''

Everyone agreed with determined nods the group stepped into the tent as Estelle, Amethyst, and Zena started to cook some dinner. Nulia, Grishna, Lilith, and Artemis started to relax while gossiping.

Atlas watched this with a smile before slumping down in a beanbag and getting comfortable as he decided to try to clear out the Void Realm. Before he could do that Lilith in her Honey Badger form leaped into his lap.

'I'm coming with you!' she exclaimed in a cheerful voice.

He chuckled before activating the skill only to appear in the swampy jungle just as he checked the monster total to see how many creatures were left to kill.

Following that, Atlas heard the beating of the Bloodwings that echoed throughout the jungle as the creatures headed straight for them. He started casting Void Bullets into the swarm of monsters.

While he was doing this, Lilith transformed into her humanoid form and readied for the battle just as the Broodmaws rushed in and tried to slash at the white-haired beauty. She ducked under the scythes as she countered.

'Wow she's fast and strong,' he thought while watching the Honey Badger woman.

He watched her tiny fist slam into the mantis-like monsters and crack their exoskeletons into meatpaste thanks to the overwhelming force. The two of them continued fighting throughout the jungle as explosions erupted.

His magic was decimating the creatures that tried to attack but were blown away in a wave of azure flames. He was satisfied as he deflected a pair of Kraxari's mandibles before driving his swords through the ant's skull.

Atlas gritted his teeth and quickly cast Void Wave that knocked them away with a shockwave that dazed them. Following that, he started using Void Lance and Void Blast to thin out the numbers.

That's when he noticed Lilith was being overwhelmed by the remaining Broodmaws and Bloodwings. Atlas rushed toward her while using Void Step only to block one of the flying monsters' stabs with its stinger.

He coughed up blood before using Void Wave to protect them further, but Lilith quickly grabbed him as she spoke in a concerned voice, ''Master! Why did you do that? It wouldn't have hurt me.''

Atlas chuckled when hearing this, but the injury started healing itself just as the two began fighting once again. Thanks to their teamwork, they cleared some monsters giving him a chance to check the total.

'Not long now but the Kraxari will take longer to clear,' he pondered while cutting down several Bloodwings.

Atlas and Lilith continued fighting until the Honey Badger woman was sent back to the real world. He followed behind and noticed a delicious aroma hitting his nose, which made his stomach grumble.

''Oh, you two are back!'' Grishna commented with a big smile. ''How was Level Seven? Still hard?''

Lilith jumped up while transforming into her humanoid form before exclaiming in frustration, ''Damn, flying monsters have appeared! They are annoying.''

The women laughed as Atlas stood up and stretched, only to yelp as Amethyst poked him in the side. When that happened, he grabbed the phoenix girl before tickling her, she screamed out while laughing, ''Please stop!''

He didn't show any mercy and continued to attack the purple-haired beauty until she was squirming in his lap just after he finished. Atlas grinned while playing with her soft hair, which made her shiver.

Following that, the duo stood up and approached the dinner table as everyone else sat down just as Estelle and Zena served the food.
