Chapter 74: Giving Orochimaru What He Truly Wanted
(A/N: Hey guys, to be honest I completely forgot to send you a chapter yesterday , I was quite busy and all, hope you can forgive me, lol ;)
Orochimaru's face twisted in a mixture of frustration and greed. His pale, golden eyes—like the eyes of a serpent—narrowed in the faintest hint of pleasure as he looked at Gojo, his voice hoarse with awe. "You're still as powerful as ever."
He licked his lips, staring at Gojo with a predatory gleam in his eyes. "Manda's Poison Mist," Orochimaru mused, "is potent enough to corrode an entire hill. Even with such a potent poison, you still stand unharmed. Why?"
Gojo grinned widely, tilting his head back slightly with an air of arrogance. "Oh, you want to know my secret?" he asked, his voice carrying a mocking lilt. He wasn't about to waste time spitting out some grand speech about how invincible he was. He had already entertained such thoughts—too many times to count—but with Orochimaru and Kabuto, the show wasn't worth it. They were beneath him.
His expression became almost lazy, the words rolling off his tongue casually. "It's because of the gap. The strength gap between you and me," he said, smirking at the absurdity of it. "There's an infinite gap, actually."
With a flick of his wrist, Gojo vanished in the blink of an eye.
For everyone else present, it was like the world had gone still. They could only feel a gust of wind and hear the faintest sound of something shifting. The next thing they knew, there was an explosion of scarlet mist, the gruesome remnants of the giant snake, Manba, raining down in pieces. Kabuto's head flew off his shoulders like a ragdoll's, and his body crumpled to the ground in a bloodied heap.
It happened so fast no one could react. One second, they saw Gojo standing there; the next, Manda and Kabuto were just... gone.
"W-what just happened?" Sasuke asked, wide-eyed. He stared at Gojo's back, his Sharingan still spinning, trying to figure out what had just unfolded.
"I didn't even see it with my Sharingan!" Sasuke muttered under his breath. "How can that be...?"
"Gojo is incredible," Shizune whispered in awe, her gaze fixed on Gojo. The former medical ninja was struggling to process what she had just witnessed. Kabuto was no slouch—he was at least Special Jonin level. And Manba was a Summon with terrifying strength. But Gojo had wiped them out in seconds.
She couldn't even begin to fathom how much power Gojo had now. "Is this the true extent of his strength?" she wondered. The sheer brutality was... beyond comprehension.
Gojo, meanwhile, was far from concerned with the awe he was inspiring. His grin widened as he casually floated in the air, looking down at Orochimaru with almost playful indifference. "You know, Orochimaru, I've been thinking…" Gojo's voice trailed off for dramatic effect, his eyes glinting mischievously.
Orochimaru narrowed his eyes, his intrigue piqued. He could sense Gojo was up to something. "What is it, Gojo?" he asked, his tone a blend of curiosity and caution.
Gojo grinned again, his smile widening with a touch of cruelty. "Well, I was just wondering… do you still have that thing for men?" He tilted his head, feigning innocence.
Orochimaru froze, his thoughts running wild. He'd heard rumors, of course, but to hear Gojo say it so bluntly... it hit him like a slap in the face. His hands clenched at his sides as he tried to regain composure. "What do you mean by that?" he hissed, his voice shaking just a little.
Gojo continued without a hint of hesitation. "Oh, come on, it's pretty obvious, right? You've been after Sasuke's Sharingan for how long? If you're into men, maybe Sasuke would be a good choice for you."
A cold sweat broke out on Sasuke's forehead. "What...?" He shot a nervous glance toward Gojo, then back at Orochimaru. A chill ran down his spine.
"Just think about it," Gojo continued, voice dripping with amusement. "Sasuke wants to revive the Uchiha clan, and you want that Sharingan. You two could... I dunno, team up, have a bunch of Uchiha children. It's perfect."
Orochimaru's eyes went wide with disgust. "Stop it, Gojo! What do you think you're suggesting?" he spat, though his voice had lost some of its usual venom.
Gojo's grin only grew wider, clearly enjoying the discomfort he was causing. "I mean, hey, if that's what you want, I'm happy to set it up for you. Maybe we could make it a little... fun for you."
Orochimaru recoiled, his expression turning from disgust to palpable fear. "No! That's... that's impossible! I—"
Gojo cut him off, hovering casually in the air with Tsunade still cradled in his arms. "Oh, but I think you'll find it quite... enjoyable," he said, his tone almost too sweet. "You're a woman now, after all. You might as well learn how to enjoy yourself. Maybe Sasuke can show you the ropes."
Shizune blinked, slowly realizing the implications of Gojo's words. Her face flushed crimson, her mind grappling with what Gojo had just implied. She couldn't believe her ears. "Gojo... you're horrible!" she exclaimed, half in shock, half in embarrassment.
Sasuke was still standing frozen, a deep shiver running through him. The thought of Orochimaru... as a woman... with men... it was enough to make him feel ill. "This is too much," he muttered, his eyes still fixed on the scene.
Gojo ignored the discomfort he was causing and turned his attention back to Orochimaru, who was now visibly panicking. "Don't worry, I'm not going to leave you alone with your fantasies just yet." His gaze locked on Orochimaru. "Let's deal with you first."
Gojo's fingers began to glow with a light blue chakra, the air around him shimmering with a strange energy. "Fire Release: Heavenly Prison," he muttered, his hand moving to press against Orochimaru's stomach.
Immediately, lines of fiery energy exploded across Orochimaru's body, sealing his chakra and burning him with an agonizing heat. Orochimaru let out a strangled cry of pain as he fell to his knees, struggling in vain to push his chakra out against the prison Gojo had placed on him.
"You…" Orochimaru wheezed, "You're using the Heavenly Prison? How...?"
Gojo's smirk never faded. "Of course. It's a little gift from the Blood Prison You know, just for you. I thought I'd give it a try."
The flames of the Heavenly Prison continued to sear Orochimaru's skin, burning his chakra with every move. The more he tried to fight it, the worse it became. "Damn you, Gojo! You can't do this!" Orochimaru gasped, his mind scrambling for an escape.
Gojo's expression softened slightly. "I think you'll find being a woman has its own set of problems, Orochimaru," he said, voice dripping with mock sympathy. "But don't worry. I'll make sure you're... well taken care of."
Orochimaru's eyes widened with terror, realizing the depths of Gojo's cruelty. He had no way out. He was trapped, in more ways than one.
With a flick of his wrist, Gojo kicked Orochimaru's legs out from under him, sending him sprawling to the ground. "Let's get you somewhere special," Gojo said with a devilish grin, before vanishing into the air once more, taking Orochimaru with him.
The scene shifted to Hidden Sound Village, where a group of prisoners in a dark, grimy cell suddenly froze as Gojo appeared in front of them, Orochimaru unconscious in his grip.
The rebels could only stare in terrified awe at Gojo's overwhelming presence. "Who... who is this guy?" one of them whispered, their voice trembling with fear.
"Don't panic," Gojo said with a grin, setting Orochimaru on the floor. "I'll give you all a little blessing. You'll love it. Orochimaru used to be a real threat, but now... well, now he's just... a toy."
He snapped his fingers and disappeared with Orochimaru, leaving the stunned prisoners to stare after him in fear and confusion.
Back at the border of the Land of Waves, Naruto was still confused. "Gojo-sensei... why'd you take Orochimaru away? What are you planning to do with him?"
Sasuke glanced back toward the space where Gojo had vanished, his expression unreadable. He could only shake his head. "Don't ask, Naruto. You really don't want to know."
