Chapter 73: Gojo Satoru Weaknesses?
After hearing that familiar voice, Tsunade instinctively grasped Gojo's hand. The warmth of his palm steadied her as the trembling in her delicate body slowly faded.
"Tsunade, it's all right now. The invincible me has arrived," Gojo said, squeezing Tsunade's small, cool hand reassuringly. He glanced at her state and sighed inwardly. Tsunade was strong, but even she had her vulnerabilities.
Fear was the hardest thing to overcome.
Tsunade turned to Gojo, her eyes filled with uncertainty. But as she hugged him, all her fears and anxieties melted away. She was no longer the fierce warrior she once was, nor the fragile person from before. Right now, she was like a child seeking comfort after being bullied.
"Tsuna, you've done well. Let's sleep for a bit," Gojo said softly, his fingers gently brushing Tsunade's head. A soft, light blue chakra flickered from his palm.
Chakra Hypnosis.
Tsunade's eyes fluttered, her consciousness slowly fading as she slipped into a peaceful slumber in Gojo's arms.
The people watching could feel it—Gojo's gentleness didn't hide the cold power he exuded. Gojo was clearly not happy.
"Gojo, you actually showed up!" Kabuto's glasses gleamed as he wiped a bead of cold sweat from his brow, his back shivering slightly. He forced a nervous smile as he adjusted his glasses.
Seeing Tsunade like this had clearly sent Gojo into a fit of anger.
The plan to capture Tsunade for treatment was now completely ruined, and now the real problem was how to deal with this... The strongest man in the world had arrived.
Gojo teleported to Kurenai, gently transferring Tsunade into her arms. "Take care of her for me, okay?" he said, his tone calm but firm. Without waiting for a reply, he vanished, reappearing back on the battlefield.
"Actually..." Gojo began, casually moving his hand into his pocket.
That slight shift in posture made Kabuto and Orochimaru's expressions change in an instant.
Kabuto's eyes widened in panic. He leaped backward, his arms shielding the chakra knife in front of him.
"Master Orochimaru, be careful," Kabuto warned, his eyes flickering with anxiety as he fixed his gaze on Gojo.
Before Gojo even moved, Kabuto was already on edge. He remembered the time Gojo took out Orochimaru with ease, and that memory still haunted him.
"Am I scary?" Gojo asked, his voice light, almost teasing, as he pulled out a lollipop, unwrapped it, and popped it into his mouth. He looked over at Orochimaru's favorite slav-student with a smirk.
Kabuto took another step back, eyes wide.
For a moment, Gojo just stood there, casually sucking on his lollipop, waiting.
"According to the information I have, you have no weaknesses in your abilities," Kabuto said, forcing a smile while maintaining his distance. He was already thinking about how to get Orochimaru out of there.
"Everyone has weaknesses," Gojo replied indifferently, still sucking on his lollipop. "Isn't that right, Kabuto? The whole ninja world is curious about my weaknesses. Let me go ahead and prove it to you."
"I have at least five weaknesses," Gojo began, holding up a finger for each point.
"One: Remove all the air from the entire world." He raised his first finger, his tone casual yet completely absurd.
A brief silence followed as everyone processed the sheer impossibility of such a scenario. Undeterred, Gojo continued, raising a second finger. "Two: Shout loud enough to literally shock everyone."
The dramatic flair in his voice made the statement feel almost like a joke, but no one dared laugh.
"Three: Use an illusion attack like Tsukuyomi." Gojo raised a third finger and smirked, clearly amused by his own list.
"Four: All poisons." The fourth finger went up, his voice light but steady.
For a moment, the only sound was the rustling of lollipop paper as Gojo unwrapped another sweet. The room fell silent, the absurdity of his words leaving everyone stunned. Was he really listing his vulnerabilities to the enemy?
Even Shizune couldn't mask her disbelief as she stared at him, her expression a mix of confusion and concern. Why would he reveal this? Was Gojo insane?
"And five..." Gojo paused dramatically, his lollipop twirling lazily in his fingers.
Orochimaru's lips curled into a sly grin as he interjected, his voice dripping with intrigue. "Tsunade," he said, licking his lips as his eyes gleamed with malicious intent. "That's the one."
For the first time, Orochimaru was intrigued. Poisons? Oh, that was easy.
Kabuto, seizing the moment, sliced Orochimaru's arm with a swift hand chop. A drop of blood stained his thumb. Quickly, Kabuto sealed his hands together and slammed them onto the ground.
"Summoning—Manda!"
A huge cloud of white smoke exploded around them, and out of the mist slithered a massive, terrifying snake that towered like a mountain.
"Yare yare, Orochimaru, what are you doing summoning me?" Manda growled, its voice deep and booming. The beast whipped its tail, sending the nearby buildings flying into the air with a resounding crash.
Orochimaru and Kabuto clung to the snake's back.
"Master Manda, use poison," Kabuto instructed respectfully, his voice full of anticipation.
"Get off my head, you puny humans!" Manda hissed, twisting violently as it tried to throw Kabuto and Orochimaru off.
"Yes, yes, I get it!" Orochimaru snapped, grimacing. "We need to fight the man who's in front of us!"
"Gojo Satoru?!" Manda stopped, eyes narrowing as it saw Gojo standing there. "Orochimaru, are you out of your mind?!"
Orochimaru was insane if he thought they could take on Gojo. The snake was having none of it.
"Seriously, Orochimaru, you want me to go against him?" Manda grumbled, but at the sight of the looming threat, the giant snake had no choice but to attack.
"Poison Mist!"
Manda opened its mouth wide, releasing a thick black mist that rolled through the area, corroding everything it touched. The poison spread like wildfire, seeping into the ground and threatening to consume everything.
Shizune's face paled as she started to stagger toward Gojo, her body still recovering from the Kusanagi sword injury. She collapsed, but her concern was clear.
All poisons were Gojo's weakness, right?
"Teacher Gojo!"
Everyone in Team 7 froze, panic in their eyes. Naruto jumped forward, hands ready to help.
"Idiot, stay back!" Sasuke snapped, holding Naruto in place. "Don't do anything. He knows what he's doing."
Naruto grumbled, but for once, he didn't protest. He trusted Gojo.
"Cough, cough. This is choking me to death." Gojo casually waved his hand, dispelling the poisonous mist around him with a look of distaste.
"Poison is indeed my weakness, but come on, at least make it a poison that could actually kill me in one breath," Gojo said, rolling his eyes. "This is just weak stuff. I've felt worse after smealing one of Naruto's farts."
There was a pause.
Naruto turned red, clutching his stomach instinctively. "Hey! That wasn't my fault!"
Sakura and Sasuke simultaneously turned their faces away, trying to hide their embarrassment for their teammate.
"Why do I have to be stuck with such an idiot?" Sasuke muttered under his breath.
Gojo just grinned, twirling his lollipop, completely unbothered by the chaos around him.
