Karna Reborn

Chapter 20: He is working fast

Karna then looked at Rina. "Hey Rina are there Any Dungeon near by, that I can help by joining a raid party".

Rina grabbed the money as she looked at him. "Don't you have you're own raid team you cleared this dungeon with".

Karna sweet as he looked as he spoke with a lie which made too much sense for his team and hides he had done the dunegone solo. "Hahahaha, yeah but Rama and Sita went on date, Ashwathama is training in the Hunter's Gym and Bhima is doing what he wants too".

Rina then pressed a button as it shows the map of Indiana, with no red dots. "Non on Indian, but other countries have them somewhere, Bangladesh had a few opned but I don't think you can cross country's that fast".

Karna knew in his past he probably could, he was demi god, but not in this one. "Definitely not".

Rina checked her as she looked at him. "Just take the rest do the day of".

Karna sighed, rubbing the back of his head. "Yeah, yeah, I get it. No dungeon raiding for now."

Rina gave him a knowing look. "Seriously, you just came back from an Ancient-class dungeon. Most hunters would be celebrating or passed out from exhaustion, but here you are asking for another raid. You need to slow down, Karna."

Karna chuckled. "Can't help it. Sitting around doing nothing isn't really my thing."

Rina shook her head but smirked. "Fine, but don't come crying to me when your body gives out from overworking yourself."

Karna took his earnings, tucking them into his pocket. "Noted. Guess I'll just take a walk and see if anything interesting happens."

As he stepped out of the Hunter's Guild, the evening sky was painted in hues of orange and purple. The streets were bustling with activity—hunters celebrating their victories, merchants selling enchanted goods, and common folk going about their business.

He started walking aimlessly, his mind drifting. His Sun Mark tingled slightly, a reminder of the new abilities he had gained. He clenched his fist, feeling the power just beneath the surface.

"Echo System, huh?" he muttered to himself. "If I keep absorbing more powers, how far can I really go?"

Meanwhile in a different place, the place was buld like a stadium, but it looked like dome, it had that of glass celling, as the sun it self blasted as this place is non other then the Hunters Guild Gym or self.

Inside of the Gun was hunters of all Rank, from the Bronze to even Indian 7 Platinum rank Hunters, will only 5 was presented at the time with Karna not being here and another one either, in that of a room, was the Platinum hunter.

In the middle of it all, was Aarav, his raid hair flows a she moves his hand, flames spreed every where taking done reb clone monster, as then he raised his hand as a whole pillar of fire came out taking down a few. He then smacked his foot down the pillars of fire came out as they moved and destroyed them, he then raised his hand up as a fire spear was made as he then send to the four corner to of the rooms.

"You know you should name your moves".

Aarav stopped his attack as he heard the voice, as he didn't even look back. "I don't waste my time being flashy, yes the irony of me being called the 'Indian Flame'".

The voice chuckled, and Aarav finally turned his head slightly to glance at the man leaning against the training room wall. It was one of the Platinum-ranked hunters present in the gym, Rajat Mehra, also known as Void Walker. He was known for his unique space-based abilities, making him one of the deadliest assassins among India's top hunters.

Rajat smirked, pushing himself off the wall. "Still, even if you're not into flashy names, structuring your techniques will help refine your combat flow. You already have raw power—imagine what you could do if you had precise control over it."

Aarav huffed, rolling his shoulders as the last of the training clones faded into embers. "My control is fine. You're just here to nag, aren't you?"

Rajat shrugged. "Maybe. Or maybe I just wanted to see if the 'Indian Flame' still lives up to the hype."

Aarav smirked slightly. "You tell me."

Before Rajat could respond, a loud beep sounded from the gym's main hall. A large screen displayed a breaking news alert.

[Breaking: A sudden dungeon break has occurred in New Delhi! Monsters are rampaging through the streets, and civilian casualties are expected if not handled quickly!]

Aarav's smirk vanished, replaced by a serious expression.

Rajat sighed. "Looks like your 'day off' just got canceled too."

Aarav was already moving, flames swirling around him as he prepared to head out. "I'll handle it."

Rajat smirked but didn't follow. "Try not to burn down the city while you're at it."

Aarav ignored the remark, his mind already focused on the impending battle.

He had a feeling that this dungeon break was no ordinary one.

Aarav legs was covered by flame, as then he rushed to the location, luckily he was already in New Delhi.

Meanwhile in that of New Delhi, as then people started to run for the life, as they were multiple wolf like monster, they were ripping to the city, as then Many Silver and Gold rank Hunters was taking them down, as then girl moved her Sword covered in snow as she cut through the monster, as she looked left and desiper.

One of the silver hunters spoke. "Who was that she didn't look she was from India".

Another one a Good rank hunter spoke. "Will who ever she, she must be a Diamond Rank hunter, maybe even a platinum rank Hunters".

Meanwhile in that of the main square of New Delhi, a giant wolf like monster was rampaging through the city, all hunters were trying there best to hold them back, but it then opened it's mouth, as it spilt in four as blast of sound energy sent them bar, as it growled, as it looked around

"There you are Dog".

The wolf beast looked around to where the boss came and it is as Aarav, as he fixed his white suit, as he looked at the hunter, the moment he stepped the people stopped and started chear in happyness, as Aarav waves back to them as he looked at the beast.

Aarav eyes as he made a half circle with his hand. "Let's end this".

The wolf beast looked as he charged at him, as Aarav moves his glasses as he made a Fire spear

2 minutes later

Camera cruise, news reports and many more people were buzzing the place, people had there phone too see the after math of the battle and to take pictures, as there was Aarav walking away from a burned wolf monster, as the monster boy was started to desiperd, it had many types of injuries, with what seemed like he was perched, burned and even cut, all by fire

The crowd erupted in cheers as Aarav casually walked away from the fading corpse of the giant wolf monster. The once chaotic battlefield was now eerily silent, save for the murmurs of admiration and awe from onlookers.

A news reporter rushed forward, microphone in hand, pushing past the gathered spectators. "Aarav! Aarav! Can you tell us how you managed to take down this beast so effortlessly?"

Aarav stopped, adjusted his glasses, and smirked. "Effortlessly? Nah, it just wasn't much of a challenge." His tone was relaxed, but his eyes scanned the area, ensuring there were no remaining threats.

Another reporter spoke up. "Witnesses say a mysterious female hunter was also spotted fighting before you arrived. Any idea who she might be?"

Aarav raised an eyebrow. "Mysterious female hunter? Can't say I noticed." In truth, he had sensed something—someone—powerful in the area, but they had vanished before he could get a good look.

Another news reported looked at Aarav as he spoke. "Aarav, with that of all the healing magic, why do you steal need to wear glasses when you can fix your eyes".

Aarav moves his glasses as he chuckled as he spoke. "I just like this way, it is also to show the kids they you don't need good eye sight to be hunters, but I do say to get contacts if you do join our way of life".

Another reporter spoke as she looked at the wold beast corpse. "Will this be sent to the food shelter to be food for the homeless".

Aarav looked at the wolf beast corpse, Dungeon monster once outside of a dungeon no longer disappear or gone too lute, it was almost like they become part of the world, so normal they are used as resources. "Yes, I mean I have cooked it enough, even used a water spell to make sure of it".

The crowd chuckled at Aarav's casual remark, but the reporter nodded seriously. "That's good to hear. The Hunter's Guild has been instrumental in providing food security, especially with the increasing dungeon outbreaks."

Aarav stretched his arms and looked around. "Well, if that's all, I'll be heading off. Got to make sure no other surprises pop up today."

As he turned to leave, a group of kids ran up to him, their eyes shining with admiration. "Aarav Bhaiya! Will we get to eat the wolf too?"

He ruffled one of the boy's hair with a grin. "If the shelters distribute it properly, you might. But don't go expecting fancy flavors—this is pure survival food."

One of the kids crossed his arms. "Hmph! If you cooked it, it must taste amazing!"

Aarav laughed. "Flattery will get you nowhere, kid."

With that, he waved to the reporters and the civilians before disappearing into the crowd. His job was done here, but something about today still lingered in his mind—who was that mysterious hunter, and why did they vanish so quickly?

Whatever the case, he had a feeling this wouldn't be the last time he'd hear about them.

Aarav made is way back too Hunters Gym, as he sighed he then looked at Rajat.

Rajat looked at him, his air moving in the wind as he smirked at his old friend. "Effortlessly like always".

Aarav rolled his eyes as he looked at him. "The giant wolf was B rank at beast, which made as strong as Silver Rank hunter to low gold rank hunter at beast"

Rajat them spoke as he looked at him. "You know your student is making a good name in the Hunter's community that is".

Aarav looked as he sighed. "Karna is not my student I am just looking out for him, as far as the Public knows he is still a Diamond Rank hunter and not a Platinum rank".

Rajat chuckled, shaking his head. "Yeah, yeah, keep telling yourself that. But you know as well as I do—he's got the potential to shake up the entire Hunter community. The fact that he's still hiding his true rank is just delaying the inevitable."

Aarav leaned against the railing of the training grounds, watching the younger hunters spar below. "It's not about delaying anything. Karna's still growing. He's strong, but strength alone isn't enough. He needs experience, control. If he were officially a Platinum Rank, the weight of that title would put a target on his back. And he's not ready for that yet."

Rajat smirked. "So you are looking out for him. Sounds like a teacher's words to me."

Aarav scoffed, looking away. "Call it whatever you want."

Rajat's expression turned more serious. "Still, he's been clearing dungeons at a crazy pace. Rumors are spreading—people are starting to ask questions. If the wrong people start taking an interest in him…"

Aarav's fingers tightened on the railing. "I know. That's why I need to make sure he's ready for whatever's coming next."

Meanwhile with that of Karna, he was forts like Area, it hard to mind a place to hide in a city like New Delhi, as he looked around as he spoke. "Hopefully the hunter Guild doesn't find me here, time too what Phantom Rediance can do"

[Skill activated 5. Skill: Phantom Radiance (Passive/Active) – A fusion of spectral and solar energy. Enhances fire and light-based attacks with an ethereal property, making them effective against spiritual and non-physical beings. Active ability allows the user to temporarily phase into an incorporeal state for five seconds]

He then actived [Titan's Resilience] as well, wanting to test out these two new skills

Karna felt the surge of power rush through his body. [Titan's Resilience] wrapped around him like an invisible armor, reinforcing his body with unyielding strength. At the same time, [Phantom Radiance] flickered to life, golden light intertwining with a ghostly aura around his frame.

He clenched his fists, feeling the strange sensation of intangibility coursing through him. Five seconds, huh? He took a deep breath and activated the skill.

The world around him seemed to blur as his body lost its physicality. The wind passed through him, and the sound of his own breath felt distant, like an echo in a vast void. He took a step forward, feeling almost weightless. Then, as the five seconds elapsed, his body solidified again with a faint golden shimmer.

Karna smirked. This could be useful.

Now for Titan's Resilience.

He cracked his knuckles and glanced around, spotting a half-broken concrete pillar nearby. Without hesitation, he pulled his fist back and threw a punch.

Boom!

The impact sent a shockwave through the area as the pillar exploded into dust and debris. Karna barely even felt the force of the hit. His durability had skyrocketed.

He let out a low whistle. Alright, now we're talking.

As he dusted himself off, his system screen flickered.

[Warning: Nearby high-energy signature detected. Possible Dungeon Boss in the vicinity.]

Karna's smirk widened. Well, looks like it's time to put these skills to the real test.

Karna walked to the new dungeon he sense, he arrived to the Gate, he tryed to go in but then something happend, he stepped back as giant Griffin came out, as she to the sky and looked done at Karna.

Karna looked at his sun mark in his hand as he spoken. "Explain".

[My power's may choose some Dungeon Breaks in the Gates you sense]

Karna got as he pulled out his Arrow and hold his bow, as he actived [Surya Arrow], as he sighed. "I better get a skill for this".

[Remember it depends on your compatibility level]

The Griffin let out a piercing screech, its wings beating with enough force to kick up a violent gust of wind. Dust and debris scattered as Karna narrowed his eyes at the beast. The sheer size of the creature was imposing—it was at least the size of a small truck, with razor-sharp talons and golden feathers that shimmered under the sunlight.

Karna took a deep breath, [Surya Arrow] forming in his grip. The golden flames flickered violently as he nocked the arrow and pulled back the bowstring.

"Let's see how you handle this."

With a sharp release, the blazing projectile soared through the air like a comet, aimed straight at the Griffin.

The beast screeched again, flapping its wings aggressively. It tried to dodge, but the arrow was too fast—piercing its side and causing an explosion of golden flames. The Griffin roared in pain, staggering in mid-air before quickly regaining balance.

[Griffin: HP -25%]

Karna clicked his tongue. It's tougher than I thought.

The Griffin's eyes glowed with fury as it dived toward him, talons extended. Karna activated [Titan's Resilience], bracing himself. At the last second, he used [Phantom Radiance], shifting into an incorporeal state.

The Griffin's attack phased through him harmlessly.

As soon as his physical form returned, Karna seized the opening—channeling fire into his bow and rapidly firing two more [Surya Arrows] at the beast. Both struck true, detonating upon impact.

[Griffin: HP -60%]

The creature let out another pained screech, flapping its wings wildly. It was getting desperate. Karna smirked. Almost there.

The Griffin suddenly opened its beak, golden energy gathering at its core. Karna's eyes widened.

"Oh hell no."

He jumped back, barely dodging as the Griffin unleashed a massive energy blast, scorching the ground where he once stood. The heat from the attack was intense—it could have incinerated him had he been a second slower.

[Griffin: Preparing Final Attack: Aerial Wrath]

Karna exhaled sharply, gripping his bow tighter.

"Not happening."

He charged one final [Surya Arrow], pouring every ounce of power he had into it. The arrow burned brighter than ever before—like a miniature sun. He took aim, focusing on the Griffin's heart.

"Fall!"

The arrow flew.

A split second later—

BOOM!

The arrow struck dead center, exploding in a blinding eruption of golden fire. The Griffin let out one final screech before its body disintegrated into embers, its massive form collapsing onto the ground.

Silence.

Karna lowered his bow, exhaling.

[You have defeated Griffin (Dungeon Boss)]

[Absorbing Echo…]

[You have gained Skill: Aerial Sovereignty]

Karna smirked, checking the description of his new ability.

[Aerial Sovereignty] – Grants control over the skies. Increases agility while airborne and allows short bursts of flight. Enhances wind resistance and air-based combat efficiency.

"Heh, not bad."

Karna stretched his arms, already imagining the ways he could use this in battle.

"Alright, onto the next one."

Karna then hold his right hand, as then a blast of energy came out his hand, as it the Griffin Echo as it then desiper.

[Skill: Aerial Sovereignty Deleted] [Griffin Echo Deleted]

Karna just looked at his hand. "Wait that can happen, aren't you like the embodiment of Sun, Fire, Light and Gravity".

[I maybe the Embodiment Of Sun, Fire, Light and Gravity but I have just woke up yester, plus your compatibility level was only 5% with the Echo]

Karna sighed, rubbing his temples.

"So if my compatibility is low, I just straight-up lose the skill? That's some bullshit."

[Correct. The Echo was incompatible with your core attributes, leading to rejection.]

"Yeah, yeah, whatever." Karna shook his head. At least I got to test my new abilities.

He glanced at his hand again, still feeling a faint residual warmth from where the Echo had been. I should be careful with what I absorb next time.

Looking at the now-cleared dungeon gate, Karna sighed. No loot, no new skill, and I just wasted energy. Great.

As he turned to leave, his system suddenly pinged again.

[New Dungeon Break Detected – 3.2 KM Away]

[Threat Level: High]

[Recommended Response: Immediate]

Karna frowned. Again?

He cracked his knuckles, already feeling the rush of adrenaline.

"Alright, round two."

Without wasting another second, he sprinted toward the new dungeon break, ready for whatever came next.
