jujutsu Kaisen: The Heavenly Restriction

Chapter 2: Chapter 2 System, I haven't started using it yet, and you're broken?

As the newborn was carried away from the delivery room in the arms of the nurse, Gojo Kensei was already interacting with the system.

He was well aware that, as the bearer of the Heavenly Restriction, he would receive no attention from the Gojo family.

In the current Jujutsu world, no one truly understood the power of the Heavenly Restriction. This would remain the case until Zenin Toji, the Heavenly Tyrant, made his name known.

But until then, as a Heavenly Restriction bearer, Kensei would simply be ignored by his family.

Right now, everyone in the Gojo clan was celebrating the birth of Gojo Satoru. As for Kensei, the so-called "false Six Eyes" and a child without cursed energy, all he could expect from them was disgust—perhaps even resentment, as if they wished he had never been born.

But this didn't bother Kensei in the slightest.

As long as he survived, nothing else mattered.

No cursed energy? No potential as a jujutsu sorcerer? So what? He had the system.

And besides, in this world, Heavenly Restriction holders were never to be underestimated.

Kensei thought to himself. Since he and Satoru were twins, there was no way he'd let his older brother end up KitKat like in the original story.

Back when he read the manga, there were so many things he regretted about how the story unfolded. But now that he had been reincarnated into this world, he had the power to change it.

And how would he do that?

Well, he'd start with this Shinigami Fusion System inside him.

Kensei: System, can you give me some overpowered abilities? I have no cursed energy—surely you can compensate for that, right?

System: No.

Kensei: Can you give me special items? Like a Zanpakutō from the Bleach world? Or maybe Kido techniques?

System: No.

Kensei: Then can you at least give me missions with rewards?

System: No.

Three questions. Three rejections.

The mysterious Shinigami Fusion System denied everything.

Kensei, still a literal infant, was devastated.

Kensei: Then what's the point of you?!

System: The system exists to assist the host in fusing the powers of a Shinigami with those of a Jujutsu Sorcerer. However, the host has been confirmed incapable of becoming a Jujutsu Sorcerer. As the system's ultimate goal is no longer achievable, the Mission Function and Exchange Function have been permanently disabled.

System: Remaining functions: Zanpakutō Forging and Training in Zanjutsu, Hakuda, Hohō, and Kido.

Hearing this, Kensei felt somewhat relieved.

At least the system still had some useful functions. Zanpakutō and the core Shinigami techniques were essential aspects of Bleach's power system.

If the system could just provide him with a Hōgyoku, he figured that even in the world of Jujutsu Kaisen, he wouldn't have much to fear.

While Kensei was still considering the system's potential, something unexpected happened—it fell completely silent after listing its functions.

Kensei: Hey! Keep going! Tell me what else you can do!

System: The system has only two remaining functions. All features have been fully explained.

Kensei's Sky Blue Eyes widened in disbelief.

His cheat ability was already half-broken before he even had a chance to use it?!

All that was left were two functions?

Had his reincarnation been a blessing or a curse?

In his past life, he had tragically died in an accident. But then, he was lucky enough to be reincarnated into a world he loved.

In the womb, he was almost absorbed by Gojo Satoru, but he miraculously awakened the system and survived.

Now, the system was crippled, leaving him with only two functions—but at least they were useful.

Kensei could only console himself with this thought.

Modern society had taught him that self-PUA (positive psychological reinforcement) was a survival skill in the workplace.

But either way, Zanpakutō forging was still intact, and that alone was a game-changer.

As a Heavenly Restriction bearer, he couldn't use cursed techniques. His weapons would be his core strength.

And what better weapon than a Zanpakutō forged by his own hands?

Kensei: Fine, fine! This is already good enough. No need to be greedy. If I can use a Zanpakutō and master the Shinigami arts, that's more than enough.

Kensei: So, how do I forge a Zanpakutō?

System: Zanpakutō Forging is currently locked. Please obtain a forging tool first.

Kensei: Huh? I need actual forging tools? Can't I just manifest a Zanpakutō with my mind?!

System: Please obtain a forging tool first.

The system's response was cold and mechanical.

Kensei felt like cursing.

Kensei: Then what about training in Zanjutsu, Hakuda, Hohō, and Kido?

System: Host does not currently meet the conditions for learning these skills. Please explore and unlock them independently.

Kensei: …

His frustration peaked.

Wasn't this way too difficult?!

He was just a baby! How long would it take before he could even hold a hammer, let alone forge a weapon?

And the requirements for training? The system wouldn't even tell him what they were? He had to figure it out himself?!

This was insane.

Was this really how his new life was starting?

A mix of blessings and curses.

Meanwhile, in the Jujutsu World, a storm was already brewing.

Six Eyes. Twins.

These two words, when put together, sent shockwaves through the entire Jujutsu Society.

The Gojo clan hadn't made a public announcement, but as one of the Three Great Clans, their every move was under scrutiny.

The birth of two Six Eyes users was unprecedented—a miracle that defied logic.

Within days of their birth, both the Zenin Clan and the Kamo Clan had caught wind of the news.

The moment they confirmed that both newborns possessed the Six Eyes, silence fell over their respective headquarters. The very atmosphere in their clans became tense.

The Gojo, Zenin, and Kamo Clans were collectively known as the Three Great Families, the pillars of the Jujutsu world.

But they were also rivals.

And now, the Gojo family had not one, but two Six Eyes bearers. This meant that for decades to come, the Zenin and Kamo clans would be completely overshadowed.

Zenin Clan Leader: This is terrifying… Twins with the Six Eyes? If my sources weren't reliable, I'd suspect this was a hoax…

Zenin Elders: Our only hope is that the twins will negatively impact each other. Perhaps they'll be cursed by the so-called 'Twin Jujutsu Sorcerers' phenomenon…

The Zenin patriarch's expression was grim.

He had spent his entire life elevating the Zenin Clan to new heights. Yet now, at the twilight of his years, an unprecedented disaster had arrived.

.......................................................

Meanwhile, the Kamo Clan Head was feeling even worse.

Their influence within the Three Great Families was already the weakest, and he had been tirelessly working to change that.

Now, with two Six Eyes users born into the Gojo Clan, his ambitions were crumbling.

Kamo Clan Head: Did the Gojo family save Amaterasu in a past life or something? How did they get this lucky? Two Six Eyes… Even if they're twins, they'll still stand at the pinnacle of Jujutsu one day.

With no other options, he could only hope that the Kamo Clan's future generations would rise up and produce a stronger Blood Manipulation user.
