Journey To Eden

Numerous 18-year-old children attended the entrance exam of Aizen College and many of them were walking up the 1 kilometer long staircase as a strange woman in black led them while congratulating them for completing the first test successfully without any death.

"That would have been a lawsuit we aren't willing to have. Good thing Annie took it easy on you." said the woman.

"Excuse me lady, who are you?" asked a male voice.

All the attendees stopped walking and looked behind to see the fool that addressed their guide so informally. Lilah wasn't surprised that it was Nova.

"Congrats, you fool. You've brought yourself unwanted attention." she said as she walked ahead of them.

"What did I do wrong? I just asked." Nova tried defending himself but it jus served to make him look even more ignorant.

"It's no worry, child." said the woman.

"Child?" Nova scoffed.

"I didn't introduce myself and that was quite wrong of me. I'm Mother Graves and I will be one of your examiners for test two." the woman introduced herself gracefully.

"The bear that you saw on the ship was courtesy of Mother Anastasia. You'll see her in test three."

The woman then led them to the top of the staircase and at this point almost everyone was wheezing from the long climb. The top was a large colosseum-like building with a large stage and seats surrounding the stage that were occupied by students that were anxiously waiting for the test. Above the entrances, there were four large throne-like seats with three of them occupied by examiners.

The woman in black then told the attendees to go to the stage as she flew up to the fourth large chair next to an old man with shut eyes and a long beard.

The attendees all stepped onto the stage where they were cheered on by the spectators. Once all the attendees were on the stage, horns blew like a royal procession bring the whole venue to a deathly silence.

"Greetings students of Aizen College. We are here to witness Test two, the strength test." said mother Graves.

"In this test, you, the attendees will fight each other. You are to fight till your opponent taps out by raising both of their hands and spreading out their fingers in an open palm. The point is to accumulate the most points." 

She paused momentarily to allow her words sink in before explaining the rules of test two and what they were supposed to do.

Test two was a strength test were the attendees were to fight each other until one of them tapped out. The attendees were allowed to use their spirit animals but killing your opponent wasn't allowed but they would not get punished. The fight was to take place in less than 5 minutes, beyond that with out a defeat was a draw.

Each win was 100 points. Each draw was 50 points and a loss was 0 points.

Ezra looked around and saw a lot of people that looked strong. He wondered if he was going to be able to defeat anyone. He closed his eyes and took a deep breath to build up some confidence.

The test had 5 rounds. The first was a last man standing rounding where the attendees had to fight each other randomly for 5 minutes. The group that was left standing, was to move on to the winner's duel 1 and those that won that round would move on to the winners' duel 2. The losers of the first round would move into the losers' last man standing then the winners of that round would move to the losers' duel.

Any attendee with two loses was automatically disqualified from the exam.

The air suddenly became tense as the attendees looked at each other as a way of gauging the competition. 

"Without farther ado, let the battle begin." A gong was struck and the attendees looked at the examiners in confusion until some spectators began a battle cry that motivated some of the students to begin fighting.

In an instant, the stage got into an all out battle royale with each attendee fighting for themselves. 

The stage was filled with a lot of the exceptional candidates but the ones that made waves were Nova, Lilah, Alba Tuskery, Koko Jelani, Eki Jelani and Ezra. The whole colosseum had their eyes on them.

After 5 minutes, the battle royale came to an end and out of the 84 candidates, only 12 candidates remained standing. 

The other 72 candidates went for the loser's battle royale and in this round only 30 remained standing. 

It was now time for the winners' duel 1 and the first battle was between Lilah and a boy, Lucas Beverley. 

Lilah and Lucas stepped onto the stage and faced each other and the moment Lucas lay his eyes on his opponent. He burst out laughing.

"Hey there babe. You look good. Do the judges really want me to fight a girl?" said Lucas, angering Lilah in the process.

"You're a royal, right?" asked Lilah.

"Yeah I am. It's okay to fall for me. After all, not many get to fight a royal or even see me." he said proudly.

"A Beverley. This is gonna fill so good." Lilah said, taking a battle stance with a smile on her face.

Lucas was pissed and also took a battle stance. The gong was struck starting the fight.

Bond

A large spider then appeared behind Lucas that bonded with him. A large spider tattoo formed on his back. He then shot multiple spider webs at Lilah that trapped her a cocoon of webs that was too hard to break out of. He then jumped high into the air, webbed the cocoon, spun it around before crashing it into the ground.

He smiled knowing that the attack must have knocked Lilah out but before he could celebrate his victory, Lilah's voice yelled out

Spikes then pierced through the cocoon before tearing it apart revealing Lilah's body that was mostly uninjured except for a small cut on her cheek. 

Lucas' face wrote of shock. He took a stance and looked for where he can run away because he knew he was faster than Lilah by a good margin. Lilah saw this and two spikes flew through Lucas' legs making him fall to the ground. 

"They did say that I wouldn't get punished for killing anyone. What do you say pretty boy, should we end this?" 

Lucas looked at Lilah like a demon and fear began to fill his mind. He immediately tapped out making Lilah angry that she kicked him unconscious before leaving the stage. 

The first duel ended quickly with a victory for Lilah in 2 minutes.

The second duel was between Alba Tuskery and Liam Wilson, a cheater user. The duel ended in 4 minutes with Alba's win.

The third duel was between Eki Jelani and Romeo Giovanni, a termite user. The duel ended with Eki's victory in 1 minute.

The fourth duel was between Koko Jelani and Bartholomew Remming, a bull user. The duel ended with Bartholomew's defeat in 3 minutes.

The fifth duel was between Ezra Jameson and Trazer Jameson, a baboon user. The two stepped onto the stage and immediately when Ezra heard about who he was going to fight, his mood died.

"If it isn't my useless brother. I finally have the chances to beat you and teach you a respect on respect. I'm going to show you my strength. Get ready..." 

Bond

A giant baboon appeared behind Trazer and the gong was struck. As he was bonding, Ezra walked up to him and delivered a heavy punch that connected with Trazer's lower jaw sending him flying during his bonding. 

"Sorry, you said you were going to teach me what?" Ezra asked before walking off the stage. 

"Scary. He could have at least let him bond. What guy is he?" said on of the spectators.

"That's my buddy." said Nova to the other winners before flying onto the stage in a fiery entrance.

Nova's duel was the final due for the winners duel 1. His opponent was Damian Armstrong, a dog user.

"You look rather weak. I haven't even seen you bond with any animal." said Damian. 

"The fuck you say, doggie?" asked Nova angrily. 

"Come to think about it. I haven't seen this Nova fellow bond with any animal." said the old examiner seated next to mother Graves, while stroking his beard.

"Could it be that he's always bonded with it?" asked a younger larger man who was always smiling. 

"Shut up you fun-sponges. I want to watch the fight." said a female examiner with a crown and a cute purple dress.

"Okay, okay. Wouldn't want to anger mother Pinky." said mother Graves.

"Thanks Graves. You're the only one that can understand me." said mother Pinky.

The gong was struck and Damian bonded immediately and waited for what Nova may do. 

"Hehe. Seems like he isn't going to attack. Good. I can end him with just my bark."

Just then he let out a loud bark that resonated throughout the colosseum, making some people faint from fear but Nova just smiled. 

"Hey, you said that haven't bonded this entire battle. I guess you're right. Do you wanna see my soul animal?" asked Nova.

Damian looked angry and confused. His attack had nothing on him. Just then he felt the ground heat up. He looked back at Nova who had a wide grin on his face.

Separate: Eternal Phoenix

A large phoenix appeared behind him that made the whole colosseum heat up making everyone sweat.

"What a phoenix!" exclaimed one of the spectators.

"Who is this kid? How can his soul manage to hold the power of a phoenix?" asked the old examiner.

Damian chuckled and removed his bond with his dog and tapped out. 

The battle ended in 1 minute with Damian's defeat.

The loser's then had their duel after that lasted about two hours and now it was time for the last round. The winners' duel 2.

The last duel was going to be among the six losers of the previous round and among the 6 winners. 

The first battle kicked off almost immediately and this time the fighters were given 10 minutes. 

"With out farther ado, I would like to introduce our first duel. On the right side, we have the boy that ended his fight with a punch as his opponent was bonding. Guess some it was some family issues. Introducing Ezra Jameson."

"And on the left side, we have the girl that absolutely violated a royal. The Pufferfish user, Lilah Lest." 

"Let the duel begin."
