John Snow is A Girl

Chapter 46: Madness

Olivia still has a lot of spells to study after saving the mysterious boy from the city of Yunkai. Who knows what the Targaryen princess will do once she has her hands on the city.

Having seen enough, she went towards Daenerys's camp. To be fast, she flew there and then dropped from the sky behind the tent but she is surrounded by a spearman group before she could move a step.

"Impressive. I thought I was stealthy enough." She said seeing the group of the unsullied surround her.

"State your business near a tent to the great queen!" High valerian shot out from the leader's mouth.

"And what makes this queen great?" Olivia asked watching the few people get stunned not expecting the . She had asked him in high valerian as well.

"She is the...." The man started to say but a woman walked through the group spoke over him. She stood in front of Olivia without fear.

"It is a rhetorical question." She is a pretty girl with yellow eyes and dark skin said making the Unsullied stop talking, accompanied by a few powerful looking men she stood firm and looked straight into her eyes as if to challenge her.

"Are you this great queen?" Olivia asked with amusement in high valerian. Then she realized the man who was by Daenerys side at that time had come with her as well. "You're still alive. Good for you." She walked towards Jorah Mormont passing him to move between him and the girl from earlier.

She is stopped by another group of people from entering the tent. "You tell them to let me pass. I have business to discuss with my cousin."

The man just passed her after uttering 'don't command me'

She got annoyed and the men in her way all fell to the ground at the same time. Stepping on the gap she walked in seeing the girl standing watching her with a guarded expression.

"Cousin, I have missed you." She opened her arms for a hug but Daenerys stood firm and didn't approach her.

Olivia's sweet expression fell and her arms remained up. "Leaving me hanging is rude." Her voice is several degrees colder.

Daenerys subconsciously walked forward but Barristan stood in front of her drawing his sword and pointing it to her neck. Olivia looked at him and lowered her arms.

"Beware of an old men in a profession they die young." She took steps and grabbed his sword where its sharp squeezing it until it cracked. The old man's eyes narrowed and he tried to yank his sword back but her grip is as good as an iron grip.

Her eyes never left his, she saw that even though he is apprehensive of her, his gaze never wavered. She smiled and let go of the old man's sword. "You are concerned about her life more than yours. They don't make them like this anymore. Cousin is so lucky, but why do you seem familiar to me?" She is talking to him but is also musing to herself.

Walking forward after passing the man in an astonishing display of speed, she sat down where her cousin was seating. Sir Barristan knew if she wanted to harm his queen, she would be able to with ease, especially after looking at his sword.

"You seem familiar to me too. You resemble someone I saw grow up all his life. If your eyes can be less sharp and more gentle. You would be a spitting image of his." This is when she realized his eyes had changed slightly because she looked like someone he knew. Not because she cracked his sword.

"Dany, call off your hounds I have a proposition for you."

"You are in the presence of queen Daenerys Storm born of house Targaryen. You will address her as such." The old man said looking at her and the men on the ground outside.

"Is that what you want me to call you Dany? Queen?" She asked Daenerys who seems dazed.

Jorah is being very careful about this woman because she has his queen's weakness. He doesn't want to make a mistake which is why he was hoping for guidance from the queen but she seems overwhelmed at the moment.

"I don't have all day. What is wrong with her?" Olivia frowned.

"You have my son. Bring him to me! I want to see my son." Daenerys started crying. The old man became flustered but Olivia just looked at her unable to understand what is happening.

The girl from before stood in front of Daenerys and tried to placate her but she seemed to be spiraling.

"If you want to see your son. I can take you to him but he is too young to come here and you remember his condition. Is a place like this somewhere he can be?" Seemingly understanding something, Olivia suddenly said.

"You are no friend of mine. You are Ned Stark's daughter, the daughter of a traitor who helped in the murder of my entire family. Why would you pretend to help me? To steal my son? Bring him back to me!" Her light purple eyes bore into Olivia's deep purple ones with flickering madness.

"Is this the famous Targaryen madness? So paranoid. Sad really." Olivia sounded unconcerned.

"I am not mad, I am sad." Daenerys wiped her tears as she shouted. Turning around, she rummaged behind her and picked up a folded news paper, she threw it at Olivia. There is a photo of her with her basic information on the cover. Olivia just glanced at it with no concerns.

"I have never seen sadness that scary before. Forgive my ignorance." Olivia said lazily she then said something that stunned Daenerys. "I can take you to him you know. If you want to take him back here, it is up to you."

"How? I am in the middle of a negotiation with the Yunkai if I leave now everything will be lost."

"You know who I am therefore you know where to find me and your son. This craziness is unnecessary." Olivia had learned to see the world in present time with the three eyed raven and she could take her to where Drogo is at the moment but then she will be showing her one of her own secrets. Why would she do that?

Hearing her, Daenerys jumped and took her hands looking at Olivia with hopeful eyes. "Really? Do you promise?"

"I swear it." Olivia answered calmly. The other girl looked to her two advisors for assistance.

"She is from the North your grace, no Northerner has ever broken his words." Barristan said in reassurance. He is saying it this not because he trust this girl but because Daenerys looks in a bad shape a moment ago he just means to calm her down and then deal with this woman.

"I remember you came to kings landing years ago. Your hair and eye color was not like this back then." Sir Barristan said suddenly.

"It wasn't, I reckon father wouldn't have allowed me to go south if it had been so." Olivia chuckled.

"Did he ever tell you who your mother is? It's strange to suddenly have a Targaryen child in the North." He said casually.

"He took that to his grave. About why I came, may we have a word? It's about a family in the city that you will butcher in the near future." Olivia spoke to Daenerys while she ate the grapes prepared on the side.

"I am not a butcher, I only kill those deserving."

"Who are you to say they are deserving or not?" Olivia sneered.

"The masters are no victims."

"Their children? Are they guilty too?"

"I didn't touch a single child." Daenerys said calmly.

"But you released tens of thousands of bitter slaves and killed the main protectors of these families. They want to vent, what do you think they will do when they see a beautiful daughter of the former master they couldn't even dream of touching before now living without the wealth or protection of her dead father?"

".....I."

"They brutalize her and if she is lucky they will kill her quickly. Tell me dear cousin, how many innocent lives have died just because you wanted an army without paying for it?" The lazy tone betrays the strong accusation.

"If their parents are masters do you think they see slaves as equal?" Jorah challenged.

"So how do you ensure that your little 'liberation' doesn't harm honest and good people?"

"Change has never come without a cost." Sir Barristan said firmly.

"And how long will this 'change' that will take so many innocent lives last for? A month? A day? Because not everyone will follow behind you on your long journey, so when you leave how long till another person takes over the old post?" Her dark purple eyes bore into Daenerys. The expression on Daenerys got uglier and uglier so Olivia softened her gaze and took her hands.

"Alright I may have been harsh with you but that is because I care about you. Family looks after one another, these followers you have surrounding you will be frightened to tell you the truth but I am not scared. You should know what your actions will do."

"I am well aware of the bloodshed I have caused in my wake, don't speak to me like I am a child! I am Daenerys Storm born ....."

"Let me stop you right there, I don't give too shits who gave birth to you I only care that you have my blood. I am somewhat of an orphan and have always been an outsider to the Stark so I was happy when I smelled your blood the first day we met. I went above and beyond to save Rogo because he is your son."

"Hehe.. you must think me a fool if you think I will believe you. You used some sort of magic to see into my head while I was dreaming about hatching dragons and decided to insert yourself into my life. You are not cousin of mine and the first thing I'll do when I cross the seas is take back what is mine, ALL OF WHAT IS MINE." She breath heavily. The tent became silent, the others turned to see Olivia with an expression as if she is constipated.

They moved to cover their queen but then the sound of a loud bust of laughter came from Olivia as if she was holding it for a long time "Pttfff Hhahahahahaha. hehehe, I'm sorry Hahahaha.." She grabbed her stomach and rolled on the couch.

"You are funny cousin/ sister / aunt/ whatever relationship we have, is definitely bloodline. You don't get to decide who cares for you my dear cousin. But I am curious why would you think I want to insert myself into your life?" Daenerys shrugged "Probably to get an opportunity to ride my dragons."

"That is certainly a tempting thought but I can float using magic. How do you think I dropped behind your tent?" Olivia wiped some tears from her eyes.

"It's not the same thing and you know it." She said it proudly.

"I can assure you that this lady has zero interest in your puny dragons." Olivia said lazily.

"I will take your words for it." Daenerys rolled her eyes obviously not believing her.

"I will tell you one thing though, I have no benefit in inserting myself in your life. It will make me look bad instead." She said finishing the grapes.

"How so?" Daenerys asked with interest.

"Your family is not loved in the North. My grandfather died screaming under your father's madness, my uncle as well. There is a saying in the North that we should never go south. Association with you won't look good."

"Yet here you are." Daenerys said.

"I found myself not fitting in with the rest of Westeros so I built my own city where I am on top. This way people will leave me alone but I can kill them if they bother me without implicating my subordinates." Olivia looked around for more grapes, not finding any she went to the wine.

"Any ways I came here to ask for one family when you start raising your butcher's knife." Olivia spit out the sip of bitter wine and put the glass down.

"You want me to pardon one master on the account of what?" Daenerys sneered. The leisurely expression on Olivia's face disappeared. Instead she pointed at the men outside who hasn't woken up till now.

"I thought you might feel that way so I prepared a little incentive. If I don't wake them up in the next four days they will start rotting from inside out. Hahaha.. I'm joking. But to be sure, it best you ensure the Pere merchant family is safe. mh?"

"You call us family and then you blackmail me?" To her credit she doesn't seem that fazed by the threat.

"I did that because your follower acted up when I asked him to tell them to let me go through. The blackmail is a happy coincidence. Don't worry we will get used to each other and you will not be surprised by such things in the future. I also have this, which is what I had prepared to bribe you with." She took out a dark blue pill with a shine of a thousand stars.

"What does it do?" Dany looked at it with heightened interest. She remembers reading about Olivia's gift to Walder Frey.

"It is a high level antidote, if you take it you will be immune to this list of poisons." She gave her a sheet of white paper with listed poisons and toxins that can be negated by the pill.

"All of these toxins won't harm me? How do I trust you based on your words alone?" The queen squinted his eyes. Olivia just smiled charmingly.

"Have faith." She said and threw a paper with all the portraits of the family members she wants to save. "These are the people I need safe If one of them is harmed in anyway, our deal is off." With a 'pah' sound, the container carrying the pill closed and seemed to disappear in front of Daenerys's eyes.

"I will give you a day to think about it. My friend is calling me." She got out of the tent and flew away. The men who were on the ground woke up after three hours. It seems she was bluffing her about them rotting inside out.

Olivia is on the hurry to move out because Bran Stark can apparently find her just because she is able to use a green seer talent. Although she can only see the present, she can see him if he is spying on her like right now.

A distance from the army, she came down and confronted him. "What the hell?!"

"I don't mean to spy on you but please go North, Robb took an army to confront the wildlings and the whites are coming their way."

"Why would...?" Then she realized she has made the Night king mad with the regular hunts her army is doing. With a large influx of humans suddenly, it is a chance to replenish his army that Olivia has taken a bite out of.

"Fine. I'm going, but I may be too late. Prepare yourself to be king if he dies." She said but Bran is not amused.

....

The North has been to battle after battle the moment they concluded with the Lannisters. The Iron born became relentless in its assault using the excuse that his son is a prisoner in the dungeons of Winterfell after getting his man hood cut off. It has been a tiresome couple of months and now the wildlings are stirring up sending the wall into panic once more in such a short time.

If the letters are to be believed, they are in more numbers than when they attacked a year ago. As it happens king Robb had to divide this men to those who will guard the North and those who will go with him to meet the wildling army.

First he sent a letter to urge his sister to help stop them from approaching the wall at all cost but the letter was sent back un opened. Robb became very angry because Olivia has essentially just refused to help him as if to tell him she is not his vassal.

"She should at least read your letter." His advisor and said.

"The message said she is not in the North currently but went with a ship to Yunkai." Another one said

"That's...."

"Where Daenerys storm born is currently according to this news paper." John Umber said throwing the news paper on the table.

Currently they are in a ship going to face the wildlings forces. "It wouldn't come to this if she were under your banner." Small John Umber said offhandedly.

"Are you suggesting that I take my army and attack my own blood just so I can have a little more lands?" Robb became livid.

"What he says is not entirely wrong. They would have found a way to send this letter to her if she were your vassal." Bolton agreed but when he saw the fire in Robb's eyes he kept silent. Inside however he is hoping to create a crack between the siblings.

"Leave my sister out of this. Grown men so frail they need a little girl to help keep them safe." He sneered and turned back to the map.

Their army was a little late but managed to find the beaten wildlings who has just been surrounded by Stannis.

As they arrived, they saw the aftermath of the earlier battle. There are many dead bodies belonging to both armies but the wildlings suffered more damage.

Robb has obviously brought over 10 thousand men which is many times more than the number brought over by Stannis but still less than the Wildlings.

"Stannis, you're a long way from home." Robb stood in front of the man his father died calling the rightful king. What is so righteous about a man who would send shadows to kill his own brother. "My condolences, I heard your brother died."

The pleasantries are cut girt by a hurried Melisandre.

"We need to leave, they are coming." The urgency in her eyes is undeniable. Stannis frowned. If he left like this, he will look to be fleeing Robb Stark. It will make him look weak, Storm landers will never respect him.

He is still contemplating when Grey wind started growling and making an obvious aggressive stance facing east. Robb had heard the red woman and knew that something bad must be coming from this direction.

The wind blew faster, and the chill in the air became sinister. The wildlings are aware of what is happening. Mance started.

"Pull them out and form a line, those without the weapons, run!" The situation became chaotic As more wildlings scrambled to run away but are blocked by not one but two armies.

The people who had fallen from the previous battle started getting up. Gray wind jumped on a woman who was just getting up from the ground.

"Shit, what was that?"

"It's the night king."

"We need to get out of here."

Only when the Southerners started panicking and scrambling to run away did the wildlings get a chance to flee. They ran like mice being chased by a hungry cat. The two armies are busy fighting the recently deceased who are aggressive and relentless in fighting them.

Seeing Mance not running, Stannis told his men to let the wildlings run. Without anyone stopping them, they disappeared into the nearby forests headed straight for the haunted city.

Robb looked at Mance "I don't know why you didn't attempt to flee like the rest of the wildlings but you're going to die here today." To his surprise Mance thought his words are amusing.

He faced the east and pulled out his dragon glass sword. "No, we're all going to die here today." The sight in the distance sent shivers down the watching people's spines. Even in the storm everyone can see those ominous icy blue eyes on the approaching white walkers.

"Pray that she comes here before we are all dead." He held on to his weapon and kept his eyes glued to the front without waver. After the commanding white came to view, Mance felt like it's eyes looked directly into his.

He couldn't help but remember the last time he fought on of those things. It's strength is tremendous he couldn't match it.

He looked on the side and saw one of his lieutenants hadn't run off. He came and stood next to Mance his eyes full of appreciation. Mance sneered. "You should have left."

Then chuckled "Aye, I should have. But at least I still get to see these fuckers die before me." He laughed happily when they heard him.

A skeleton walking their way then another and another and soon they saw the vast land in front of them filled with them. There is only one feeling in their minds.

Horror

That sight made them all turn tail. Initially they were dazed but others hah run away with the wildlings but went towards the wall. They didn't even wait for their respective kings to command them and ran for their lives.

Like flock of sheep screaming from fear they used their fastest speed to try and reach the gates of the wall while Mance entered the forest and hoped to reach the haunted city soon.

The large gates of the wall was initially open and many managed to pass through but when the army ran after them all the way back, Small John pulled Robb and pushed him into the gate while he remained behind in a sudden act of heroism. Robb is thrown like a sack of potatoes even though he is not a small person, crashing to the ground he turned back and saw the man who threw him with his few subordinates turning around running towards tthe incoming horde of the dead.

"You stupid come back here!" Robb shouted but Roose put his hand on his shoulder to stop him.

"My apologies my king but if you die, who knows what would become of me?" He pulled the still struggling king to the castle.

Approximately 4 thousand people remained outside. Some Northern people some from Dragon stone. Both Stannis and Robb managed to enter the gate before it was closed.

Seeing the approaching death, men felt despair. Others stood still from fear while most drew out their weapons to fight for their lives.

There is no way he can leave with surviving such an attack when he could have tried to save his father. As the dead draw near, he stood like a moutain a small distance in front of his father with the resolve to cut down as many as possible before he dies.

His unwavering courage in the presence of such terrifying odds made those who had fallen in despair to stand firm to at least die on their feet.

Just as a clash is inevitable large white flames bursts from the ground separating the two group and melting the dead where they are.

Olivia has realized that casting the red flames is harder on cold areas like the North but the white flames burn brighter the more dark magic there is to purify.

The flame is in front of the group of humans so more of dead soldiers keep pouring into the flame trying to reach the humans. When they are almost piled up into a small hill, Olivia caste a powerful purifying spell.

"Qysoga" Olivia's voice sounded over the storm and the dead inside the flames turned to dust in an accelerated pace. The onlookers stood with shock at such a display of power.

There must have been a command to return because the army of the dead immediately stopped pouring into the flames and turned around walking the same way they came.

A few minutes passed with the humans trying to see if they are really gone and Olivia keeping the flame burning to ensure they go far. She floated in the air to get a better view of their location.

This is when the others finally saw her. Wearing a pair of puffy pants with loose material but tight on the waist and around the ankles. This style was popular amongst Seniors who fly on swords regularly to not expose themselves to those flying lower.

"Is that Snow?"

"Is she a witch?"

"I don't know but she saved my life today. The witch of the North."

"The witch of the North!"

"The witch of the North!"

Seeing they are okay, Olivia didn't socialize with them and went back to her city.

"Wait!" Lord Umber called out but she has already disappeared in the forest.

The truth is she is very tired and is even burning up with over use of magic right now. She crashed into the castle grounds, Anna and Faith rushed her inside.
