IT'S HERO TIME!!!

The scene starts with a shot of a window surrounded by cherry blossoms with birds chirping, a gentle wind blows carrying cherry blossom petals into the room through the window dropping on the nose of an young man, soft sunlight falling on the face.

'Ugh! who the fuck leaves a window open in an hospital especially in a patient's ward, don't they have rules or some shit for that.' the young man wakes with a start as he sneezed.

He rubs his eyes a few times then his face, he gets out of the bed to go to the the bathroom.

He opens the door and stares directly at you "Yeah you, Hello there! I am- No no don't judge, yeah I can feel some of you judging, don't worry it's a one time thing, the author's a pussy, he just thought what would make the introduction of his MC interesting, it won't happen again and anyway it's only just a bit fun" he spit in the sink, looked up and smiled at the camera.

"So, yeah what was I saying? Oh yeah, Life moves pretty fast. If you don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it" He said as he came out of the bathroom "Cut to cafeteria"

(Cafeteria)

(Cut to Walking in garden)

"There you are, I've been looking for you everywhere" an woman in nurses outfit said from behind him "Why do you do this? With your condition you should rest as much as you can" She took his hand and guided him back.

(In the ward)

After making sure that the boy would not run off to anywhere she closed the door.

"Hmmm we got really sidetracked didn't we, let's start again *clears throat*, Hi! My name is... of no importance, we are not gonna use it anyway, you might be wondering why am I in hospital?" he said as he rubbed his chin "If you're not, typical webnovel reader, unfortunate for you I am gonna tell you anyway, see It all started when an young couple had a baby boy, as typical procedure they kept the mother and the baby in the hospital few days for observation" with a dramatic voice "then came the devastating news the baby had a hole in his heart, life expectancy was placed between seven months and two years, this crushed the young couple, they asked the doctor if anything could be done, the doctor said they could do an heart transplant, luckily for couple the hospital had an fetus heart that was matching 94% to the baby boy, we don't talk about where the heart comes from because it is depressing to think about" He gave a silent prayer and continued "The doctor told the couple of the dangers and asked to be sure, the young couple seeing a little hope to save their precious baby boy agreed to the procedure, after the operation the heart was stable, seeing that the relief washed over the couple like a waterfall. They then took their baby boy and lived happily ever after"

"Not" He gave a sad smile " The heart worked just fine for a couple of years, but one morning in a park, a six year old was running around under the gaze of his smiling parents fell down, thinking he would get up again they started attending to the four year old girl in mother's arm *2 second* 'Hey Darling, he isn't getting up' 'Don't worry babe, must've got a cut again and was embarrassed to get up, you know how he is, wait here I'll check up on him' *4 second* the dad ran up to the boy 'Hey hey hey champ, are you hurt? it's okay to fall you know that's how we get strong' *7 second* 'Champ?' the dad flipped the boy over gently to find his eyes closed barely breathing, terrified the dad immediately picked the boy in a hug and started running towards the car shouting for the attention of the mother, the mother seeing her husband running towards car with her baby boy in his arms shouting for her immediately set alarms in her head, she urgently picked up her daughter and ran after her husband leaving everything behind."

"Well here's the big twist"*sip* he took a sip of water " After rushing the boy to the hospital the family waited two hours in the hallway worried, after a few more moments the doctor came out of the ICU ward and guided the family into his office and sat them down. He told them the reason the boy was unconscious was that the heart was being rejected by the body, taadaa, by the way don't factcheck this the author doesn't know what he is talking about, anyway hearing this news the family was devastated, the father got up asking doctor if anything can be done but the doctor only said the boy's life can be prolonged but not sure about saving his life alltogether. The father anxiously tried to argue with the doctor that there must be a way, the mom sat in the chair tears spilling out of her eyes on the forehead of the little girls in her arms and little girl wiping her tears with dainty little arms saying 'Mama don't cry don't cry'"

"Now fast forward Ten years" He spread his arms and got on one knee on the bed "Here I am, your beloved-"

(Schweek)

The door slid open and in came a beautiful woman with a mature vibe around her carrying a basket.

"What are you doing?" she aske confusion clearly written on her face, then gave a sigh " I heard that you again got out unsupervised"

The boy steadily sat down "Bah, what am I supposed to do all day?"

Her eyes softened hearing that "I'm not saying you don't get out, just do it under supervision, that's why they have assigned you a personal nurse you know" then her hand reached out and she pulled his cheek " And since when did you start talking like an old person?"

(Frame stop)

"Ow ow ow So yeah that's my mum, most beautiful women on the planet, nay the universe. She cares for me wholeheartedly, she is here almost all of the time, exceptions being really important business matters. Well you probably would have guessed it but my family is pretty well off in terms of money and I mean pretty well off, me well I am pretty well off my rockers"

The door again slid open and in came a teenage girl and an amused middle aged man.

"Yo yo yo what up brah? Fam in the house!" He watched amused rubbing his cheek as she pointed fingerguns towards the roof "It's your adorable little sista"

The man sighed as he flicked the back of the girl's head " Stop talking like that or I am taking your phone away " The man then turned towards the boy "How are you feeling, Champ?"

The boy gave a smile and a thumbs up "Better" He gave a nod at that and didn't say anything else.

"The man is my dad, he is a serious person but always tries to help me, sometimes he drops wisdom on me about life and gives me advice. He is the head of a company so it is a little hard for him to come but he still goes out of his way to make time and if he still can't come then he atleast calls to talk to me, so yeah pretty great dad"

She tries to visits me daily, she does her homework here the only time she doesn't visit is the days I have banned to help her hang out with her friends."

My sister trotted towards me, she leaned forward and whispered in my ear "I got you a nudie magazine he he he" she snickered "It was hard to hide but I got it, it's in my backpack" I could see my dad shaking his head behind her, she stood straight and looked at me with expectant look.

My sister looked confused for a few seconds before she took out a box from her backpack "Here a gift for you"

I opened the box to find a green and black watch, identical to the Ben 10 alien force omnitrix.

'A little fact about me, I love anime and comics but I have a special place for Ben 10 universe, I don't know it just grew on me, ever since I first saw it when I was 10 years old I wanted to have an adventure like that around the universe. I motioned for her to give me a hug and she did, separating she said "And it tells the time too."

I laughed at that.

It fell into a calm rhythm as my sister told me about her school life with input from Mom and a short comment from father which I don't know was true or not, like 'What do you mean you fought a crocodile catching fish with an astronaut at that age? Could you please elaborate'

We were all laughing when I said "Hey Dad, Mom can we go on a picnic?"

My mom replied "Ofcourse darling, that's why we are here."

"No not in the hospital, outside, just us, just us four"

The mom look concerned at that, she shared a looked with dad who then looked at their son, he asked in a serious voice "Are you sure?"

He nodded looking straight in the eyes "Well then, I will talk to the doctor"

The sister was looking concerned throughout it all.

(Scene)

The doctor green lighted their little trip. They packed up most of the stuff, and the stuff they didn't have they bought from the store in the city. They decided their picnic destination would be the mountain with the waterfall outside the city.

They played their favourite songs on the road, they played games, they ate delicious homemade food and they laughed.

He could without hesitation say this was the happiest day of his life.

(Scene)

They were at the hospital, a nurse came and informed them "Visiting hours are closed, so would you please kindly leave"

"Yeah yeah we were just leaving" His mother then turned to him smiling "See you tomorrow darling"

His father said his goodbyes and his sister gave him a hug. Just as he was about to walk down the hallway he turned around a enveloped his family into a big hug, they were surprised at first but they reciprocated the hug.

He turned around and started to walk, he had barely taken ten steps when he fell on his knees then facefirst on the ground.

The next few minutes were a blur, but he was picked up and placed on an emergency bed and was being rushed to ICU, he asked the nurse if could talk to his family but was denied " Please, please" he was having trouble breathing.

They made a little space around him for his family to have a conversation "Hey guys, I just wanted to say that today was good, don't feel sad " he took their hands into his hands and addressed his sister first "Grow up wonderfully, live your life to the best and never regret " then his mom " You're the best mum anyone could ask for, thank you" he winked to his father "She is gonna need a friend, ya know ha ha ha" referring to his sister. Then he was pulled away into the ICU.

He could see his mother openly crying, hands over her mouth, his father looking at him with regret in his rolling down his cheeks and his sister squinting, hands bawled trying to hold her tears.

He gave them a thumbs up and with his last breath shouted "I LOVE YOU!"

The door closed.

He opened his eyes but couldn't tell if they were open or not, it was dark, too dark. He tried to feel his face 'Ow ow that's the eye, it's open, it's open' he tried to feel his body and felt fine, just something odd he couldn't perceive. He could feel something on his left hand wrist but before he could check what, his surroundings brightened, he instinctively covered his eyes due to the burning.

It took a few seconds for his eyes to adjust, but when he opened them he came into a view he couldn't tell was real or had he truly lost it. He was staring at the sun like actual sun in space, he looked around to find nothing but heavenly bodies and void.

Now he had truly lost it.
