It is Easiest to be Obsessed by Everyone

Chapter 5

I gave up on drinking alone.

As soon as I grabbed my wallet and phone and stood up, I felt eyes on me from all directions.

It felt like every table was watching me, almost as if they had all agreed to keep an eye on me.

Whenever I saw male celebrities, I wondered what it would be like to live a life constantly in the gaze of women.

This is kind of creepy.

Having strangers constantly staring at me like they had planned it made me feel uneasy, even scared.

It appeared like this was the limit of my experience as a former virgin.

“That’ll be 35,000 won. Would you like a discount coupon?”

“Oh, yes.”

“Here you go.”

I was usually bad at refusing things, so I took it anyway.

The coupon was odd.

It was a 10-stamp coupon, but it already had 6 stamps on it.

There was a phone number written in the corner.

I looked at the server in confusion, and she gave me a big smile.

“Please come again. Give me a call.”

“…”

I just quietly left.

Suddenly, I missed Jung Hyena. How long had it even been since we parted?

She was probably working overnight. I wondered if she had a proper dinner.

I sent her a text. Oh, and I saved her number, of course.

[Me] What are you doing?

[Jung Hyena] I’m working on editing! There’s so much to do.

[I think I’ll be working through the night.]

[Apparently, that employee slipped in the bathroom and broke their arm, so it seems like I’ll be super busy for a while!]

[Of all times, why did they have to break something now? They’re usually so healthy.]

[What are you doing, oppa?]

“Wow…”

Can you really type all that in three seconds?

Did she anticipate my text and pre-type it into the message window or something?

[Me] I was just wondering if you had dinner.

[Jung Hyena] I haven’t eaten! I guess you haven’t either! The hamburger wasn’t enough, right? Come to think of it, it’s already 8 o’clock!

Just a few hours ago, she was worried about sending a long message and upsetting me.

But after a kiss, she was chatting away like this.

She’s adorable…

[Me] Where’s your office? I’ll buy you something nearby.

[Jung Hyena] Oppa, you’re going to buy me something? Awesome! Definitely, yes! What are you going to get me?

[Me] I just had some beer and sausage, so I’m good. You can eat whatever you want.

[Jung Hyena] Well, if you’re full, how about we just go to a cafe and have coffee together?

[Me] No, you haven’t had dinner yet. You should eat what you want.

[Jung Hyena] No, it’s fine. Since you’re full, let’s just go to a cafe. I’ll just have a few pieces of cake.

She’s accommodating me this much?

Our Hyena is really considerate.

I was getting emotional.

What on earth was Lee Chang-woo lacking that he treated such a beautiful and kind girl so coldly?

How high were his standards, anyway?

[Me] Send me the address of the cafe.

[Jung Hyena]

[Jung Hyena] This is a cafe near our office. It’s got a nice interior, great coffee, and a cozy atmosphere! I think you’ll like it, oppa.

[Me] I’ll head over there.

———

The moment the cafe door opened, all conversations at every table stopped in an orderly fashion.

A man who appeared to be a CGI effect walked in casually, taking slow, deliberate steps.

He stood at a sleek height in the mid-180 cm range, with a perfect 9-head proportion and a small face.

His features were arranged with sculpted precision, perfectly proportioned like a work of art.

The skin exposed between his sleeves was as fair and smooth as that of a nobleman in a Nordic fairy tale.

An author wrestled with a laptop and appeared to be on the verge of tears from a looming deadline.

Middle-aged women who had just finished luxury shopping with their neighbors and were chatting and laughing.

Female employees from nearby offices who came to gossip after work.

Male and female customers waiting for their girlfriends or boyfriends.

Twenty-year-old girls killing time with coffee and conversation before the club opened.

As if they were in mutual agreement, their eyes and ears focused entirely on every move of the alpha male who had just entered.

“Wow. He’s insanely handsome.”

“Is he a celebrity? He must be, right?”

“At that level, he’s like the celebrity of celebrities. Who is he? I’ve never seen him before.”

“A celebrity walking around a place like this without a manager? Maybe he’s just an ordinary person?”

“To not become a celebrity with that face is practically committing a crime against the world.”

“Should I try talking to him?”

“Are you crazy? You’d be lucky if he doesn’t look at you like you’re some kind of insect.”

“I don’t care. Even if I get rejected, I have to try. If I leave without hearing his voice, I won’t be able to live with myself.”

At that very moment, a woman made clicking sounds as she confidently walked over and sat right across from the insanely handsome guy.

She had a slim, sophisticated figure that looked well over 170 cm tall and a pretty face.

Maybe because of her heels, she appeared to tower over 180 cm, exuding an intimidating presence that came with a tall, slender build.

She had the looks of someone who was probably been called beautiful her entire life, but compared to the guy, she seemed somewhat lacking.

Of course, she still had more than enough beauty to outshine every other woman in the cafe.

Then the man spoke in a low voice.

“Do I know you?”

“I’m interested in you.”

Instantly, the people at the other tables were engulfed in tension.

——-

A woman I didn’t know sat in front of me.

Her attitude was confident, as if it was only natural for her to look at me.

She must know Lee Chang-woo.

Damn! Should I not have said, “Do I know you?”

But if she did know me and I said, “Who are you?” she’d realize I’d lost my memory…

Or maybe she’d think I was angry with her, like Hyena did. I should’ve just said that.

“I’m interested in you.”

What is this now?

So she was not someone from Lee Chang-woo’s circle; she was just trying to ask for my number, like the women back at the pub.

According to stories on the internet, in situations like this, you’re supposed to wear a ring on your ring finger, pretend to drink coffee, and politely decline.

Too bad! I didn’t have a ring.

I had just texted Hyena that I’d arrived, so I didn’t have much time to chat.

Sorry. However, thanks for showing interest.

“Sorry, but that seat is reserved.”

“So?”

“I appreciate your interest.”

“So you’re saying you just want me to be interested?”

This is strange.

I thought I declined politely, but why was she responding like this?

“Can I take over that reservation?”

“…”

Damn! This isn’t going well.

How am I supposed to handle this?

I died a virgin who only knew studying and work, so I had no idea what to do in situations like this.

My throat felt dry, so I just sipped my coffee slowly without saying a word.

Think. Think.

Should I just say, ‘Look for another opportunity,’ and leave the cafe?

Maybe I should go to another cafe?

Yeah. That might be better.

“Haha, Chang-woo, why are you being so serious? I almost died laughing.”

Wait, what?

Was she really someone who knew Lee Chang-woo?

“You’ve been off the grid for over three days, so I thought you went to the ocean or something, but you’ve been here in Gangnam the whole time? And a caramel macchiato? You always insisted on drinking only iced Americano even if it killed you.”

I was confused, but I needed to get through this situation first.

But before that, I should send a quick text.

[Me] Ran into someone I know, just give me a moment. I’ll wrap this up and meet you. Find another cafe nearby to wait at.

“You always had the same taste in coffee, but now that’s changed too? I’m thirsty. Let me have a sip.”

Without giving me a chance to say anything, the woman took my coffee cup and started sipping through the straw.

How could she so casually drink from someone else’s cup…

[Choi Jisoo]

[22 years old]

[175 cm, 55 kg, D cup]

[Basic Libido: B]

[Affection Towards You: S]

[Number of Times You Ejaculated in Her Mouth: 12]

[Number of Times You Ejaculated in Her Vagina: 48]

[Special Note: Last Vaginal Ejaculation was 8 days and 15 hours ago]

The status window displayed all this information.

She must have touched my hand when she took the coffee cup.

Anyway, this was quite something.

There were some additional entries that Hyena didn’t have.

Also, the entry was missing.

It appeared to be because I hadn’t had any romantic physical contact like kissing with this woman since I possessed this body.

“Eight days ago…”

I muttered unconsciously after reading the information, and Jisoo’s face lit up.

“Oh, you remember! I’m honored. I didn’t know you thought about me that much, Chang-woo.”

“No. That’s not it.”

“Let’s go. To my place.”

“Why would I go to your place?”

“Aren’t you suggesting we do it? I like this kind of thing too. I was dreading how much I’d have to whine today, so thanks for wanting to get it over with quickly.”

What is she talking about?

So when I absentmindedly mentioned eight days ago, the last time we had sex, she took it as me suggesting we have sex right now?

I can’t get used to this really.

“What are you doing? Aren’t we going?”

“I told you I have another appointment. I mean, I do.”

“How old?”

“Um, don’t you usually ask who it is first? Why are you asking how old?”

“It’s a woman, right? She’s pretty, has a nice body, you’ve probably already slept with her, and she’s probably into you. So, if we remove everything I already know, the only thing I need to find out is her age, right?”

“Wow…”

I couldn’t help but be impressed.

Suddenly, Jisoo chuckled, leaned forward, and said.

“I knew it, you’re lying. Lee Chang-woo meeting a girl at a cafe? No way.”

Wait! Don’t people usually meet at a cafe when they have plans…?

“I know you’re caught up in your own thoughts, reveling in your solitude and all. I get it, but I really can’t take it anymore. I nearly died holding back my thoughts of you for eight days. You need to take responsibility.”

I’d never dealt with a strong-willed girl like this before, and my mind went blank on how to respond.

Why did it feel like I was 11 years younger despite the fact that she was 11 years younger than the old me?

“Oppa, who’s this person?”

My heart sank.

I turned around to see Jung Hyena standing there, wearing a baseball cap that was pulled down low.

“Huh.”

Choi Jisoo leaned back in her chair and crossed her legs.

Her gaze swept over Hyena from head to toe.

It was the same kind of look my professor gave me during career counseling.

“Let’s sit down. This might take a while.”

Thankfully, it was a round table.

Jisoo and I were sitting across from each other, with Hyena taking the seat between us.

“What’s your relationship with Chang-woo?”

“You’re probably older than me.”

“Oh my, I never asked your age.”

“Does it matter?”

Hyena took off her baseball cap.

She lightly brushed back her flowing hair and looked directly at Jisoo.

With a visual straight out of a commercial, I almost forgot to breathe for a moment.

“There’s nothing else you’re curious about besides my age, right?”
