{Third POV}

The reasons why Chang-woo came to the café where he’d be working from tomorrow.

– He planned to have dinner with Hyena after she gets off work and head home together.

– Since he’d start working there tomorrow, he wanted to get familiar with the atmosphere.

– He also wanted to beta test if he could indeed serve as a revenue-boosting totem.

Although Chang-woo had previously caused sales to skyrocket as a customer at another café for two days straight, on the first day, it was due to the tension between Choi Jisoo and Hyena. 

On the second day, he was too focused on his laptop date with Hyena to notice the surroundings. 

Now, Chang-woo once again felt the sheer impact of the legacy left by his predecessor.

My face felt hot.

It felt like sweat was about to drip down.

When did the hall fill up?

When I first walked in, more than two-thirds of the seats were empty.

Now every table was focused on me.

Since I sat with the plan to testing the ‘totem’ effect, I could feel everything.

It was to the point where I was scared to even touch my nose.

Some women were blatantly staring, others were stealing glances frequently, and some were whispering and lightly arguing with their friends.

From experience, it probably meant they were debating whether or not to approach and talk.

It was hard to keep a straight face because I could hear everything so clearly.

My face felt like it was burning… I wanted to leave the café and escape this attention. 

But seeing the café owner bustling around happily, it made me reconsider.

The café workers groaned in frustration, while the owner, Gong Ji-chul, groaned with joy.

He had told Chang-woo to just sit in a visible spot, casually stroll around the hall, and exude his presence. 

But now he was starting to regret it.

‘Maybe I should renegotiate the terms, telling him to just sit and drink coffee all day. Maybe even switch to a coffee model contract?’
