Infinite Evolution: My Idle Evolution System

Chapter 253: Isolated Solar System

Cassius's smile widened as he nodded toward the adorable, pleading expression.

"Yay! Thank you, Master!" Yimin jumped up in joy before leaping at the two-piece corpse.

But rather than directly devour his flesh as one would expect, she only needed to beckon forth a suction-force-like energy inside her. The suction force pulled in the head and the other parts of the body before converting them into an iridescent liquid. The liquid entered through her mouth and spread throughout her curvaceous body, subsequently giving her a newfound level of strength.

WAAA!

Right on the massive head of a dragon laying on the fricking Moon, Yimin experienced a long-awaited breakthrough!

[|Spirit Pet 'Yimin'| has advanced from the 'S+++' Rank to the 'SS- -' Rank!]

[Her Combat Power has tremendously improved!]

While she consolidated her strength in an odd period of silence, Cassius's thoughts traced back to the mention of the 'Isolated Solar System.' Stay updated with My Virtual Library Empire

As it turned out, Earth, the Sun, the Moon, and the rest of the planets and cosmic phenomena in the Solar System were isolated within a bubble. Everything inside this bubble was 100% real, but everything shown through the bubble's edges was…not real.

What those on Earth thought to be the Observable Universe was a mere visual representation of the real deal. There was nothing outside the Isolated Solar System, and all the things within it were termed the '0th Floor of Humanity's Ascension Tower.'

This meant that all satellites or any other form of information gathering on the world outside the Solar System was fake. It was all an illusion—a lie placed by absurdly powerful beings that a small character like the Wolf Deity wasn't privy to knowing. He only knew the name of their bubble and that it existed, which he figured out by flying to the edge of the Solar System and finding an impenetrable barrier set up around them. And once he hit the barrier in his frustrations, a name written in mystic energies formed on the barrier's surface.

"Isolated Solar System - Trial Floor" was what was written on the barrier.

Igor Volkov knew not how this place came to be or even who created it, but he was certain there was something beyond. Something that he just wasn't powerful enough to see.

Yet he never was able to figure out how to reach that 'Beyond.'

And when the Ice Sovereign and his feud started, he was sealed up before ever being able to explore further. Which, as terrible as it was, he planned to do by playing around with Satanic Rituals and the unnatural.

There were rumors of gateways that connected to other dimensions beyond our own—similar to Gates. And Igor wished to confirm the veracity of these rumors, for he knew better than anyone that rumors were almost always based on something. Yet, whether it turned out to be real or not didn't really matter, he just knew he couldn't live with himself if he hadn't expended every effort to uncover the truth.

As an innately selfish being—a human—Igor wished for something very human. Freedom.

However, as his experiments became more and more evil—even affecting entire countries—the strongest Hunter in the world had to step in. The Ice Sovereign. A reclusive and solitary figure who stayed away from worldly problems unless a problem that couldn't be solved by the rest of Humanity appeared. The Wolf Deity was that problem.

But once their battle outside of Earth's atmosphere concluded and the Wolf Deity was sealed away, the Ice Sovereign returned to his tranquility. A tranquility which he found not on the inhabitable space marble but instead on the second coldest planet in the Solar System—Neptune.

"From that worm's memories, it appears this Ice Sovereign is quite the noble figure," Cassius said, his thoughts veering his eyes toward the distant dark blue planet. "He also seems to know about the Isolated Solar System. But rather than follow the same path as the worm, he decided to continue on as he had before."

"Say, Yimin," said Cassius. "Do you wish to go on a short space trip?"

Yimin—who had returned to hugging Cassius after finishing her gourmet meal—once again had not a clue what her Master was talking about. But like the irresistibly clueless dragon she was, she bobbed her head and went back to da hugs.

The corners of Cassius's lips raised as he motioned for Raijin to move. Raijin did just that as he leapt up off the ground and took off into the void of space—majestic and regal.

Within seconds, Cassius and Yimin were already at the frontmost part of a dragon soaring through the dreary yet beautiful vacuum of space. Raijin crackled and glided through space with smooth, sinuous motions, his long, snake-like body undulating rhythmically, resembling a ribbon dancing in the wind.

From far away, it looked like a long string of bright blue energy was traversing through a dark space that made it seem tiny in comparison.

— After a few minutes of leisurely travel —

Yimin—who was sitting in Cassius's lap—shot her eyelids awake when she felt Raijin thunderously land on the Northernmost side of Neptune.

"Who's there!? Looking to kidnap Yimin's Master!?? Think again!!" She cutely threw up her hands, taking a karate master stance. "You must get through Yimin first if you wish to take away Yimin's Master!"

Cassius looked down at the gorgeous girl, an amused glint in his gaze. He petted her head, saying, "You can calm down, Yimin. We have just arrived; there are no enemies."

"...No enemies…?" For some reason, Yimin seemed oddly disappointed.

She was really looking forward to showing off her Skills in front of her Master…

Cassius chuckled before lifting her up by her supple hips. He set her down standing, then sauntered ahead and dropped off the edge of Raijin's flaring snout. "Come on now," he said. "We have someone to meet."

Yimin—feeling a warmth spread out where he touched her—took a second to respond. Yet, within half a millisecond, she was already strolling right beside her Master, sticking very, very close to him. She was on full alert in order to protect her Master.

Vigilance was key! And as such, she had no choice but to cling to her Master at all times!

Who knows exactly when another Rushan could sneak out and kidnap her Master!? Must remain vigilant!
