Chapter 65
Chapter 65
Due to the drain being plugged, not a drop of soup had gone down. An unwashed bowl was next to it. It looked as if leftover food had been thrown away.
If I had seen it alone, it wouldn’t have mattered, but unfortunately, Mitchell saw the scene when he returned. I went to check when I saw Mitchell standing in front of the sink, looking down at something, and this is what I found. Mitchell’s thoughtfulness, despite his busy schedule, was thrown away in the sink.
“Ah… Mitchell, you see…”
Mitchell’s expression, which I carefully glanced at, was truly terrible. His furrowed eyes looked ready to shoot lasers and slice the bowl to pieces.
To diffuse his anger, I needed to tell him that Inbeom Yoon, that bastard, had been here, but the words wouldn’t come out. I felt awkward about letting my guest into Mitchell’s house.
But I’m Mitchell’s shadow. I didn’t want to keep secrets from Mitchell, nor did I want to disappoint him, so my deliberation wasn’t long.
“A friend came earlier. Inbeom Yoon. The gym friend I mentioned before. He must have done this. He brought porridge and probably thought I wouldn’t eat this. I was planning to save this and eat it later… He’s really a weird bastard. Why would he throw away someone else’s food? I’ll eat this. I think I can scoop it with a spoon. It’s clean here anyway, so it should be fine…”
As I tried to scoop up the hardened soup with a spoon, Mitchell grabbed my wrist. In that brief moment, Mitchell’s frozen expression had returned. It seemed my overreaction due to feeling sorry had lifted his mood.
“It’s okay. I knew you didn’t do it. Someone who would chew my bones to stick with me wouldn’t throw away the soup I gave you.”
Mitchell grabbed and massaged my nape.
“Besides, how could I not know who came to our house?”
He held up his phone.
Oh? Ah! What an idiot. How could I have missed that!
Of course, Mitchell’s phone would also be notified when a visitor comes. So Mitchell must have seen Inbeom through the app. Visitor records are always recorded.
The reason Mitchell had just gotten heated might not have been because of the discarded soup, but because I had arbitrarily invited a guest.
I summarized the situation. I wanted to eliminate the cause to prevent this from happening again.
“I’ll never let friends into your house again. Never.”
“What do you mean ‘your house’? It’s our house. We agreed to live together, remember?”
“Ah, well… Anyway, I’ll make sure they never come.”
“I don’t mind if your friends come, but…”
Mitchell looked me up and down. Although I wasn’t embarrassed about being in just my underwear anymore, I couldn’t help but feel tense when he looked so openly.
Covering my chest, which seemed strangely smaller, perhaps due to sweating and being sick all night, I waited for Mitchell’s words.
“If you’re not going to wear clothes, cover up a bit. If you don’t plan to, I’ll help you.”
“Help me? What do you… Oh!”
Suddenly, Mitchell rushed at me and sucked hard on my neck. Then he sucked on my chest and attacked my stomach. He left kiss marks all over my body.
The final destination of the surprise kisses was my face. He sucked on my cheeks, making smacking sounds, and finally left a red mark in the middle of my cheek. The distinctive kiss mark, with its color spread out, was clearly visible.
I looked at Mitchell’s marks with emotion. I had been publicly claimed by Mitchell. Although no one else would know who had done it, I knew. That’s all that mattered.
I think I understood Mitchell’s intention too. It probably meant that it’s fine if friends come, but I should dress properly. It’s magic that forces me to wear clothes because I can’t show a body covered in kiss marks to friends.
Mitchell didn’t seem to want to share me with anyone else. Although it’s highly unlikely that I’d have gay friends like Mitchell, he probably meant to be careful just in case. Right?
I really seem to know everything about Mitchell. To think I could understand Mitchell’s psychology in such detail!
I’m an authority in the field of the esteemed Mitchell.
‘It’s been sucked beautifully.’
Standing in front of the mirror, I admired the red gift Mitchell had left. I touched it with my hand, and even tried to push out the red mark on my cheek with my tongue to make it bulge.
Anyone else would have been angry if their face was left in this state, but I’m the opposite. Like a crazy person, I was grinning in front of the mirror.
It felt like a medal received for achieving a goal and being recognized for my efforts.
I observed the medal for a long time, and the person who gave me the medal also watched me for a long time.
Leaning crookedly against the wall with one eyebrow furrowed and arms crossed, he looked like he couldn’t understand me no matter how much he looked.

“Hey, Junman. Are you embarrassed? Just tell the truth.”
Sangju cornered Junman with a smiling face. The plan to save on accommodation costs by staying at Geon-woo’s house had gone up in flames, leaving only the uneasiness of having survived that fire, like black ashes.
Still, they had toured and eaten delicious food at the place they had originally planned to go. Although the police were keeping an eye on them, there shouldn’t be any major problems as long as they didn’t leave this city.
That somewhat awkward tour would have continued. If Junman had kept paying for the hotel. If so, it would have concluded as a reasonably good trip.
“Hey, Bae Junman.”
The fragile peace was broken when Junman suggested they split the hotel costs.
“You have no money left now, right? Not a single penny?”
Although in a sarcastic tone, Sangju spoke relatively rationally. On the other hand, Gyeongsu, who had negative feelings towards Junman for taking Kim Yoon away, openly insulted Junman.
“It’s my fault for trusting this idiot’s words and coming here. How could I have trusted a broke bastard who doesn’t even have 10,000 won in his wallet without his brother?”
“Fuck, you guys are the beggars! Is it that hard to pay for the hotel? Don’t you have that little money?”
Junman didn’t back down from his friends’ provocation. Their voices quickly escalated.
“It’s not about not having money, it’s your behavior that’s annoying! The accommodation was originally your responsibility. Who said they’d let us stay at Geon-woo’s house? You’re making a fuss because you have no money. Petty bastard.”
“This guy’s gone crazy.”
“Yeah, I’m crazy! Idiot. You pay for the hotel no matter what! I can’t pay even if I die. You son of a bitch!”
“Hey, hey! Stop it.”
As the argument dragged on, Sangju stepped in. After barely separating Junman and Gyeongsu who were about to fight, Sangju asked Junman one last time. His patience was also wearing thin.
“But Junman, honestly, does it make sense that you haven’t even seen Geon-woo’s face since coming to America? You said you were so close with Mitchell too, but you’ve only seen his car, not even his face. He didn’t even get out because we were there. Tsk. Be honest. Your relationship with Geon-woo has completely soured, right? That’s why you’re broke now? If you tell us everything, we’ll pay for the hotel. Since you really have no money.”
Junman knew what those words meant. That he was no longer needed in this group. If the person who used to be the source of money has no money, hasn’t he served his purpose?
“…I’m on good terms with Geon-woo.”
That’s why he didn’t swallow his pride. Junman kept hiding the truth until the end.
“Good terms? Then call Geon-woo right now. On speakerphone. So we can all hear. We need to know what the situation is.”
“Wow, you’re really being a pain in the ass. Do we really have to go that far? Ah, fine. Fine. I’ll pay for the hotel. You idiots, look at you throwing a fit over paying that little. Damn it.”
Although he said he’d pay for the hotel, it was already too late. Gyeongsu arbitrarily opened Junman’s phone that was on the table and found Geon-woo’s number. He hadn’t even set a lock on the newly bought phone. Talk about bad luck.
“What are you doing!”
Junman tried to stop him, but the quick Gyeongsu had already dialed. Just as a small scuffle was about to start, a voice was heard from the phone. Geon-woo had already answered.
– Hello?
The number Geon-woo had blocked a few days ago wasn’t Junman’s number. It was a phone borrowed from the police who were cleaning up at Geon-woo’s house, under the excuse of a dead battery. Perhaps because of the incident, the police knew Geon-woo’s phone number, and didn’t suspect anything when Junman said he was Geon-woo’s older brother.
He had memorized the number then and saved it in his phone. Junman never imagined the number he had obtained with such difficulty would be used like this.
“Oh, Geon-woo.”
When the call actually connected, Junman couldn’t do anything. He was furious to the tips of his hair, but he couldn’t think of a way to salvage the situation.
It seemed like it was already over.
Just as Geon-woo had his world, Junman had his own world. That was this group that had continued since middle school.
All the money he had stolen from his landlord’s grandfather was spent on entertainment with his friends. Originally, Junman had no presence, but he rose to the center of the group by spending money recklessly. After that, he pathologically pursued the superiority he had tasted once.
Now, a crisis had come to Junman. In this situation, it was obvious that his position in the group would become precarious. The discord with Geon-woo meant the absence of money.
