I Will Conquer The World!

Harry had a renewed confidence as the item was working, and he smiled and said, "Sunny it is then."

He lifted his hand and thought hard about the sky becoming clear and sunny. This time, no one made fun of him or his pose or tried to mock him.

All of them held their breaths as they watched the sky.

Suddenly, the dark clouds that were previously prevalent in the sky dissapeared, and the sky became completely sunny again.

Maxine's eyes widened as he looked at the sky. All the farmers had their mouths wide open when they looked at the sky.

One of the farmers muttered, "He really is a messenger of the ancestors..."

This broke all of them out of their trance as they looked at the king in awe.

Ethan and Arnold dragged Maxine away from the gathering despite his silent protest. 

"Why did you do that?", he growled as soon as they got out.

Arnold hissed at him, "Think about it with your brain for a second! I don't know is he really is a messenger of the ancestors or not, but I'm sure that he has some powers. What if he can see a person's past? The things we have done are considered disgusting and evil by normal people, let alone a guy who is projecting himself as the representative of all good!"

Maxine had an expression of realization as he nodded slowly. What they said was logical. It was better to be safe and avoid him than get caught and be sorry.

Ethan had a grave expression on his face as he said, "I feel it is better that we go confess what we did to him. I have a feeling in my gut that we should."

Arnold growled at Ethan, "Have you gone mad?! We killed people for meat! FOR MEAT! You think he'll be like, 'Oh it's all okay'?! He will kill us the first chance he gets!"

Ethan responded calmly, "Then what'll you do? We can't keep killing people like this forever. We've still not been caught due to a lack of security. If he does not come in power, all's good. But if he does, then the first thing he'll do to win the hearts of the people is to develop Lyria, establish a proper system!"

Arnold seemed slightly shocked by what his brother said. He was struggling to find a reply when Ethan said, "Here's what we will do. Let's go talk to him. If he wants to kill us, then we will kill him ourselves. No matter what the case is, he has no proper guards and knights now. He should value our assasinating ability."

Maxine literally screamed, "HAVE YOU GONE MAD?! ASSASINS ARE SEEN AS SCUM! WHY WILL HE VALUE US?! AND HE CAN CONTROL WEATHER FOR ANCESTOR'S SAKE! YOU THINK WE CAN KILL HIM?!"

Ethan realized in how many ways his words were flawed after listening to his brother's rant.
