Chapter 41: He can control the weather?!
The farmers all stared at the king blankly. Maxine was holding back his laughter. That was the worst introduction speech he had heard. He shouted, "How will you prove it?!"
Harry smiled softly and lifted his hand while swiftly reading the description of the item that Rae had given him.
'Spear of Weather Control :
Just think about the weather that you want while clicking on the spear in the storage to control the weather. But, the effects are limited and restricted.'
"What does it mean by limited and restricted Rae?!", Harry asked Rae.
Rae said expressionlessly, "I don't know."
Harry groaned and just left things to fate and did what the instructions said, thinking furiously about rain.
A few second passed, and the farmers started whispering, mocking Harry's rockstar pose which bought absolutely no changes.
Maxine started laughing as he said, "So, what should we do king? Wait for a few days till it rains and marvel that it's your magi-"
Before he could finish his mockery, water droplets started falling on the floor.
As their gathering was held in an open place, they could clearly see the dark clouds that had gathered and the raindrops that were falling.
Maxine swallowed his words as he could not believe what had just happened.
He felt extremely shocked as he could not believe what had just happened. The sky was sunny, bright and absolutely cloudless till a second ago! But, now.... Now it was raining! Where did all those black clouds come from?!
Ethan and Arnold's expression changed, as they suddenly found the king a bit interesting. They had thought that this was just a ploy by the king to make himself look good till now, but maybe that was not the case. Maybe... there was something more to all of this.
The king suddenly did not look foolish at all in that pose with his outstretched hand.
Ethan felt a shiver go down his spine when their eyes met, as the king looked at all the farmers with his pitch black eyes. The king had a completely new aura surrounding him.
He no longer looked like a comical character for comic relief.
The king asked, "Do you believe me now?"
Maxine just couldn't swallow the fact that he was wrong so easily. So he shouted, "Maybe it was just a coincidence! Make the sky sunny again and we will believe you!"
He said it anyway even though he knew that it was no coincidence. All he wanted was one last confirmation. Better be safe then sorry.
He had become the voice of the farmers in a way.
