Chapter 3: When life gives you lemons, you play video games.
"Goodbye Honey!" That's all that his mom had said and they got up and bolted out of the kitchen in a hurry. His dad stumbled at the door and his mom helped him up as she quickly rammed him into the driver's side of the car and soon joined him through the passenger's seat.
He watched them drive off a little too excited. As his dad's black Ford F-150 backed out of their driveway, he bit into his cinnamon cucumber cake. He got up and grabbed a bowl from the cupboard. He picked up two slices of the white chocolate cinnacucumber cake and placed them into his bowl. He grabbed a spoon and flattened the cake slices into pieces. Then he poured his entire bottle of strawberry milk into the bowl. He loved cake cereal.
He scratched an itch on his nose that was bugging him since the night before. Once he finished his healthy 'breakfast', he got up and went back to his room. He started up his console and clicked on Minecraft. He entered his survival world. He played for what seemed to be only an hour. He turned away from his screen, glancing at his alarm clock as it glowed, showing 4:32 PM in big red numbers.
"Damn, I thought I only played a little." Gim said to himself.
He decided to take a break once the game crashed. He slid out his desk as a pop up screen on the Minecraft menu appeared:
