How long will she take to get here? I already saw her as she entered the gate earlier. She is probably teasing me. I already expected this since I know she saw me looking at her. I forgive her since I love her. Should I do anything? Maybe I should prepare a surprise? How about hiding? No, hiding will not be a good decision. Ah, I will just stand here looking at the window opposite the door. It should give me a mysterious and incomprehensible feeling. I might just make her admit her love for me once I turn around. I am a genius for sure. As I wait, the door finally opens.

“Welcome.”

“What are you doing?”

“Do you really need to ask?”

I turn around to face her.

“I love you. Please go out with me.”

“You are still confessing?”

“Of course. I have not given up yet. I love you-“

“Stop. Call me head maid.”

“Hmph. Hiding behind your position, are we? Fine, then call me principal.”

“Of course, principal.”

“Oohh, I quite like how you say that. Its like you are bowing to my authority.”

I avert my gaze. I can feel her staring at me.

“Do we really have to do this again?”

“If you do not, I will take it as a yes.”

“You still have not given up?”

“I can say the same to you.”

We both laugh for a little bit.

“You already know why I am here, right?”

“No. I thought you were here to accept your fate and surrender yourself to me.”

“Do we really have to do this every single time? Milady already figured it out and sent me to thank you.”

“She has no need to thank me. I must say, you introducing me to mistress has been a truly blessed event.”

“Yes. I can see quite a future for her.”

“Yes. I am not sure when it happened but milady has broken through whatever was shackling her in the past. Her victory is all but certain at this point.”

“How long do you think before she succeeds?”

“At first, I thought it would be years before anything would happen but now, I do not know. The longer I observe, the more I do not understand. Her actions and movements are unpredictable. For now, all I can do is react to whatever it is she is doing. But one thing is for sure, the more acts she does, the faster her victory seems to be.”

“I know. Which is why you should switch to our side already.”

“You know I cannot do that.”

“I hate that I understand.”

“Just like you, I am doing this all because of love. My current position is the only way I could be close to them. The only way I can make them look at me.”

“You really should give up. They are already married. Even if we both know that there is no love, there will be no change that they will turn their gaze at you.”

“You are wrong.”

“Huh?”

“You and I already know how this will end. One way or another, milady will win against the master. Once she does, I will swoop in and make them look at me.”

“Hoh? You are going to use their despair to make them rely on you? How devious. I like it.”

“That is why you should give up on me.”

I stared at her face as she stopped to think. It only took her a few seconds to realize.

“Exactly. The very notion of your resistance prevents me from attacking you but what if you did not resist?”

“Other than the master, who is the one person that could tell you to do so?”

“Wait. Milady is unpredictable. How sure are you that she will agree to it?”

“There is some merit to what you are saying. There could also be a possibility that the mistress would ask for my body to be enjoyed by her. I have no problem with that. I like her enough that I would let her play with my body but I already know. It does not matter if I become one of her sexual conquests. I believe that she will grant my wish regardless.”

“You really like her, huh?”

“Of course, but do not worry. I am no unfair. I will wait until your one chance happens. When the mistress wins, that Is when I shall strike.”

“Whatever outcome it is, you would still win.”

“Exactly. Whether it is you unable to resist my advances or if I am a third wheel to the relationship. Even if I would become one of mistress’s sexual plaything. One thing is for sure, I would have full rights in exploring every single part of your body.”

“I really do admire your stubbornness.”

Head maid stands up and proceeds to leave. I wait until she is about to close the door to speak.

“I have now sent my declaration of war. It would be best for you to move as fast as you can. Because, you only have limited time. Until I go to claim you myself.”

I see a defeated smile appear on her face as the door closes.
