I Spread my Genes to Level Up in the Apocalypse

Chapter 245: Time Skip

In the end, Ray looked at everyone with a smile on his face.

Immediately, everyone went dazed, as if their souls were leaving their bodies. Then they fell to the ground, convulsing violently until a moment passed before they stood up again.

There was only one key difference now among these many cultivators: they had absolute reverence for Ray in their eyes.

Their knees immediately buckled as they bowed toward Ray in utter reverence:

"We greet Lord Ray."

Their voices were filled with fanaticism.

Ray casually nodded his head and closed his eyes. The next time he opened them, he was already inside his Divine Realm, where the seed of his cultivation lay hovering in front of him.

"This is quite peculiar," he muttered, looking at the seed of cultivation with a thoughtful gaze.

There was almost no reaction from his seed of cultivation.

"Do I really have to reach Godhood just to harvest Fate energy?"

Frowning, Ray sensed the merging of his mutation energy with the Qi in the surroundings. Although the process had rapidly enhanced, according to his calculations, it would still take him decades to reach Tier Twelve, even factoring in the exponential growth of his cultivation.

His thoughts began to converge into one, searching for any possible solution.

"I feel like I am a puzzle," Ray thought to himself, silently staying in place to contemplate deeply.

"Gene Gate."

After countless attempts, all possible solutions led to this single concept.

The human gene—there was still a secret he hadn't fully uncovered, and perhaps he could use it to harvest Fate energy…

"It sounds illogical from a normal perspective; however, when you reach a higher level such as myself, there is nothing logical about it."

Just like his small body, which could practically destroy a galaxy with a single punch, he could control time to a certain extent. From a normal human perspective, this made almost no sense, no matter how you looked at it from different angles. Yet, it made perfect sense now.

Ray snapped his eyes open in the real world and looked around at the bowing people.

"Assign them disciple robes and immediately put them to work," he said.

He then turned toward Luo Shouchun.

"Yes, Master Ray." She bowed her head to the ground.

"Hmm, good," Ray said as he glanced at her. "I have high expectations for you, so don't disappoint me."

Luo Shouchun slightly flinched, her cold expression wavering for a moment.

"I will do my best," she replied.

Then she left, the other cultivators frantically following behind her.

"She seems scared of you, Ray," a woman with pink hair said, appearing beside Ray with a mischievous smile playing at the corner of her lips.

Without looking at Vanessa, Ray replied, "She indeed looks scared."

"Hehehe." Vanessa chuckled, an amused smile on her face.

"If someone is so strong that they can wipe out your existence in mere moments, so quickly you don't even realize your death—or manipulate you like a doll with strings attached—while also being something from outside your universe, with concepts entirely foreign to your understanding..."

Ray paused.

"Who wouldn't be scared?"

"Umm… now that you put it that way, you're right."

"Of course, I'm right," Ray chuckled. "I might be wrong sometimes, but most of the time, I'm not."

"I thought you were all-powerful, so you should be all-knowing as well," Vanessa said with a sarcastic pout.

"How can I be all-knowing? If I were all-knowing, I wouldn't be sitting here, would I, scared of Universal Detachment."

"Universal Detachment?" Vanessa tilted her head in curiosity.

"It's one of the most powerful moves, something I fear even though I'm stronger than all those Universal beings." Ray's expression remained blank, but there was an unmistakable hint of anger in his tone that he couldn't completely suppress.

"I could beat them all if it weren't for that."

"So, is that why you came to this cultivation realm?"

"You could say that."

Ray looked straight ahead, his gaze almost dazed. At this moment, Vanessa crouched down beside him, a playful smile on her face:

"I can help you relax."

"Oh?"

Vanessa slowly crawled toward him and helped him lower his pants. Immediately, his long and thick thing emerged, almost as if it had been confined in a cage.

"It has grown so big over time." She strained her neck; Ray's thing was nearly double the size of her head.

"Not up for a challenge, then?"

"Hmph."

Vanessa snorted as she opened her mouth wide, then slowly took the tip, barely adjusting to its size.

"I am a planetary being, Ray."

"Yeah, yeah." Ray slowly ruffled her pink hair, enjoying the sensation with closed eyes.

Vanessa's pace quickened as she adapted, taking his thing deeper into her mouth.

Slurping sounds resonated in the throne room, ringing sweetly and pleasantly for Ray.

Just like that, time seemed to pass in the blink of an eye as years slipped away with Ray simply resting and cultivating. His sect, the Heavenly Dao Killing Sect, had expanded far and wide, housing billions of disciples and millions of instructors.

The highest cultivator had even reached Tier Twelve. Luo Shouchun also grew over the years, reaching Tier Six, which was practically entering the level of Celestial being. This meant she had reached the level Ray was at when he fought against the Demon God.

As for Ray himself, he had attained the cultivation of peak Tier Nine, just a step away from becoming a Planetary being.

At this moment, he sat cross-legged in an empty room shrouded in darkness.

Countless black strands of energy swirled around him as he remained serene, his focus fixed on his inner realm where the seed of cultivation resided.

It was no longer just a seed with a few roots sprouting out. It had dug deep into the ground, and from that ground, a small sprout was barely beginning to grow.

All Ray needed to do was supply Chaotic Qi to the roots until the sprout grew completely and reached at least an twenty inch in length.

Once that happened, he would officially reach Tier Ten. This was the realm where he could finally break through and surpass the Celestial stage he had been stuck at for so long.
