7th Grade Meeting Point

"Damn it, Kakashi-sensei is so slow..." Naruto, full of energy and excitement, couldn't hold his frustration anymore and shouted loudly at the rising sun. His youthful impatience was unmistakable.

"That's it! If I knew better, I would've gotten more beauty sleep," Sakura, who shared the same dissatisfaction, muttered under her breath. She glanced over at Sasuke, and noticing that he was also clearly irritated, she shook her fist in approval.

What they didn't know was that Sasuke wasn't upset at all because Kakashi was late. No, his mind was occupied with something else entirely.

"Naruto, can you teach me the Shadow Clone Technique...?" Sasuke spoke up, taking a couple of steps forward. His tone was calm, but Naruto's eyes widened with surprise.

Naruto couldn't understand why Sasuke, of all people, would want to learn about the Shadow Clone technique. Still, he wasn't going to miss this chance to show off in front of Sakura.

"Sasuke... The art of the Shadow Clone is a dangerous A-rank forbidden jutsu. Even I was lucky enough to succeed in learning it. Even if you're a genius, it'll be hard for you to learn this technique," Naruto said, pretending to be wise, as he dramatically straightened his back and put on an air of importance, glancing at Sakura out of the corner of his eye.

Sasuke, however, was not amused. The smug look on Naruto's face made his blood boil. He wanted to snap back and make a sarcastic remark, but he remained composed.

"Hmph, you don't need to worry about that," Sasuke replied, his voice calm but firm. "Tell me if you're willing to teach me. I'm not begging you," he added, not mincing words.

Naruto's confidence faltered for a moment, but he quickly regained it, a frown forming on his face. "Is this how you ask for help?" he snapped, crossing his arms. "Who's asking for help, huh?!"

Sasuke, never one to back down, turned the situation to his advantage. "If you don't want to teach me, forget it. I was actually planning on treating you to dinner for a month in exchange for teaching me," he said smoothly, but there was a hidden smirk in his words.

Naruto's eyes lit up at the mention of free food. "Buying dinner for a month?" He gasped, clearly interested. "No way! Who said I didn't want that? Sasuke, you're a man of your word! I can't back out now!" Naruto exclaimed, his golden eyes wide with excitement. He was already planning out what delicious meals he would be enjoying over the next month.

Sakura, who had been silently observing the exchange, frowned at the turn of events. "Naruto, don't go overboard. This isn't a time to take advantage of Sasuke," she warned.

Naruto grinned. "Haha, of course not, Sakura! I wasn't going to take advantage of him, but Sasuke's offer is too good to resist!" He winked, his thoughts clearly already on the food he'd be eating.

Sasuke, however, had no intention of letting Naruto take advantage of the situation. "Fine, then," Sasuke said coolly. "After we finish today's mission, you'll teach me the Shadow Clone technique. You have no choice now." He crossed his arms and nodded.

Naruto was practically jumping for joy now. "Deal! I won't let you down, Sasuke! I'll teach you everything I know!" he exclaimed, ready to show off his abilities.

Before they could go any further, Kakashi's voice suddenly interrupted. "Sorry, I'm late again... got a little lost," Kakashi said nonchalantly, appearing suddenly behind them, making everyone turn to look at him with frustration.

"LIAR!" Both Naruto and Sakura shouted in unison, clearly fed up with Kakashi's constant excuses.

"Hey, you all seem pretty motivated," Kakashi remarked, ignoring the angry glares from his students. "Just so you know, today's mission is to clear the weeds in the medical area. It's a D-rank mission." He didn't seem fazed by their reactions at all.

"D-rank!? We were hoping for something more exciting!" Naruto protested immediately. This mission sounded so boring after all the adventures they had been on recently.

"Idiot," Sakura muttered, "Our previous mission in the Land of Waves was an exception. D-rank missions are the regular ones we do. Let's just get going."

Kakashi raised his hand to silence them. "We don't have time to argue. D-rank missions are normal missions. We can't just keep asking for higher-ranked missions. Let's go." He turned and started walking towards the medical area, leaving the three of them behind to follow.

The Mission: Weeding the Medical Area

Upon reaching the medical area, Naruto seemed to regain some of his energy. His eyes gleamed with determination as he immediately began preparing to show off his skills.

"I'm going to show you just how powerful my Shadow Clone Jutsu is!" Naruto said with enthusiasm. With a loud shout, he slammed his hands together in a series of quick seals. "Multiple Shadow Clones!" he shouted.

Suddenly, dozens of clones of Naruto popped into existence, each one running around to clear the weeds in a frenzy. The entire medical area was soon filled with clones of Naruto working together to finish the task in record time.

Sasuke and Sakura stared at the scene in stunned silence. It was a sight to behold, but neither of them could deny the efficiency with which Naruto worked. Even if his methods were somewhat chaotic, the results were undeniable.

Sakura's eyes narrowed as she watched the clones at work. "Is this really necessary? We're just clearing weeds, not fighting a battle," she muttered, but she couldn't help but admire Naruto's effort.

"Naruto, this isn't what I meant by helping out," Sasuke said, his tone more annoyed than impressed. "You just made more work for us. We're supposed to be clearing weeds, not showing off."

Naruto, however, was too caught up in his moment of glory to pay attention to Sasuke's words. "Hah, I'm just proving how strong my technique is!" he declared, ignoring their complaints.

However, it wasn't long before the client, a woman in charge of the medical area, stepped forward with an angry expression. "What are you doing!? I asked for you to clear the weeds, not turn my entire medical area into a battlefield! All I wanted was the weeds to be taken out, not this madness!"

Naruto's face fell as he realized his mistake. His clones had gone overboard, pulling out plants that were supposed to stay in the garden. "Uh... whoops," Naruto said sheepishly, rubbing the back of his head.

Sasuke couldn't help but chuckle at Naruto's expense, while Sakura sighed in exasperation. "This is why we can't trust you with simple tasks," she muttered under her breath.

Naruto groaned as the woman gave him an angry glare and punched him in the shoulder. "Idiot," she said, before turning to go inside, shaking her head in disbelief.

Sasuke, suppressing his laughter, turned to Sakura. "It's not all bad. At least we're getting a lot of D-rank missions done before the Chuunin Exams," he said quietly, though there was still a hint of frustration in his voice.

"Yeah, I suppose you're right," Sakura replied, sighing as she watched Naruto awkwardly apologize to the woman.

Naruto, embarrassed, gave a small smile. "Well, I did try... and hey, at least we got something done today!"

Sasuke and Sakura exchanged a look, both knowing it was a half-hearted attempt, but there was no denying that Naruto's enthusiasm had its charm. Whether it was the right approach or not, he always found a way to make the best of things.

As the day ended and they headed back to the village, Naruto felt accomplished, though still embarrassed by his earlier blunder. "Next time, I'll show you guys how it's done," he said confidently.

Sasuke didn't respond, but there was a slight smirk on his face. If nothing else, Naruto's persistence was admirable.

And so, the day ended with the team having completed yet another mission, ready for whatever challenges awaited them next.
