I sighed internally and thought, "fuck... he really scared me just now, but luckily he just misunderstood," Then, to make Kenny even more confused, I began making embarrassed faces as if I had been caught red-handed.
"what are you saying? I have no idea about that," I spoke in a low voice while turning my head away. Fortunately, Kenny caught my bait without any difficulty.

"But if Historia's father wants you dead, I won't hesitate to do it," At this point, Kenny's jovial smile had transformed into a chilly grin, and I could tell from the look in his eyes that what he had just said was meant to be taken seriously.
My body trembled slightly as if I were being watched by a bloodthirsty predator who was ready to devour me at any time, but this atmosphere didn't last long because Pastor Nick, who had been silent before, now started to speak.

However, I do agree with what Kenny said that adults have their own world, which they try to hide from children. On the other hand, children also have their own world, which they try to hide from adults, considering how easily they are influenced by something.
Consequently, adults who have always believed that children are only capable of being adorable holy angels are just ignorant and naive fools. From my point of view, the very fact that they are still children that's why they can be easily influenced and molded into anything that adults are even afraid of.

Pastor Nick and Kenny continued their conversation about various topics, and I merely listened to them while occasionally contributing my two cents to the conversation.
