Kenny Ackermann
- My Pov -
The fact that the Order of the Walls organization had abandoned an old church that contained a hidden basement did not come as much of a surprise to me. Considering the nature of the Order of the Walls, it stands to reason that they would have required hidden basements similar to these in each of their churches in order to carry out their rituals.
After putting Isabel in the holding cell, I then ordered Milch to place some of my followers in this place as guards and supervisors, and after arranging all that, we headed back home.
When we arrived home, it was already late afternoon, and one of the nuns there informed me that Pastor Nick was going to meet me to tell me something.
"you can go back first, Milch," so I told Milch to leave while I followed the nun to Pastor Nick's room.

I knocked on Pastor Nick's door multiple times, but there was no answer from inside. I had an uneasy feeling about this, but I attempted to take a deep breath and knocked on the door once more.
"Please come in, Kaiser," This time, I heard Pastor Nick's voice telling me to come in, but even though I heard his voice, my uneasy feeling did not go away, and it seemed to be telling me not to go inside.
'fuck it, uh.'
After that, I mentally prepared myself for the worst as I began to open the door and go inside the room.
After entering Pasto Nick's room, I was not immediately greeted at gunpoint or a knife to my neck as I had anticipated. Instead, I was greeted by a figure that caused a slight shudder to run through my body.
"Kenny Ackermann!!!" I mumbled something under my breath while making a concerted effort not to show any suspicious reactions.
Yes, I saw that right, Kenny Ackerman, also known as Kenny the Ripper, is the middle-aged man who is currently occupying the chair in front of Pastor Nick.
I tried to look at the information that the system gave me after scanning this person to be more confident, and when I found out the answer, my body immediately felt a little stiff, and I didn't know what to say.
- Kenny Ackerman -
[ Served as the captain of the Anti-Personnel Control Squad in addition to his duties as a member of the First Interior Squad of the Military Police Brigade]
[ After making the acquaintance of Uri Reiss and becoming his friend, Kenny Ackerman began working for the crown, but he harbored a deep-seated desire to acquire the "God-like power" that had been possessed by the Reiss family ]
[ Kenny Ackerman was Levi Ackerman's maternal uncle and had taught the latter how to survive in the Underground City ]
"Hey kid, why are you just standing there," I was then woken up by Kenny's flat words, and for some reason, I felt a chilling aura from his gaze as he looked at me.
"Pastor Nick, I heard you were looking for me?" I tried to act as I normally would so as not to give them either reason to suspect anything from me.
"Yes, but before that, you can sit down, Kaiser," answered Pastor Nick with a serious expression. Meanwhile, Kenny was still looking at me with full attention as if he was looking for something.
I don't know why Kenny Ackerman is here right now. However, based on the responses of the two of them, it does not seem that Kenny intends to come here to kill me.
As I made my way slowly over to Kenny and took a seat next to him, I had the thought, 'Perhaps Pastor Nick has important business with Kenny Ackerman, seeing as how they both have quite a bit of information about the secrets behind the walls.'
"Before that, I would like to introduce you to this man. His name is Kenny Ackerman, and he is an old friend of mine," After that, Pastor Nick introduced Kenny to me as an old friend of his, but all I did was nod and remain silent.
"Hey Nick, looks like you really trust this kid, huh," Kenny said with a chuckle, but judging from his reaction, he really didn't intend to kill me.
For the time being, all I can do is breathe easy because if Kenny Ackerman really wanted to kill me right now, I would have died away before I could accomplish anything significant to resist.
"The thing I wanted to tell you is that we will be leaving for Wall Maria starting next month, and my friend Kenny will be coming with us," Pastor Nick started to explain what he wanted to tell me, and even though I was a little surprised, I couldn't do anything about it.
"I understand, Pastor Nick," I then nodded my head as if I were an obedient child to Pastor Nick without showing any dissatisfaction or anything suspicious, but suddenly Kenny, who was beside me, laughed out loud.
"hahahaha... no wonder you trust this kid so much. Apparently, you want to make him continue your mission, right Nick?" Upon hearing that, Pastor Nick just remained silent. His face didn't even change, and he showed no emotion at all.
Seeing Pastor Nick, who didn't react, Kenny then continued, "but I have to admit that this boy is a bit different. Other than his white hair and strange red eyes, I feel something from this boy."
"What's your name kid? If I'm not mistaken Kaiser, right?"
"It seems you also have high courage, kid. I like it," Kenny kept on babbling with a jovial smile on his face, and he even started to put his feet on the table to make himself more comfortable.
"I don't know what you mean, Uncle," I commented with a small smile while looking directly at Kenny. Unexpectedly, Kenny came closer to me and said quietly.
"I know you're trying to get close to Historia Reiss, right?" after saying that, Kenny leaned back in his chair, and when he saw that my eyes had slightly widened, he let out a hearty laugh.
"I think I'm right, but I don't blame you, kid. Historia Reiss is indeed beautiful, so it's only natural for a shitty kid like you to fall in love with her."
